Chapter 1592: 1480, two years later, the first set of core data
The next day, Emperor Xin received approval from the core committee to travel to Lunya.
Drac remained at the hub, planning the “big business” with the Chairman.
As for Su Yu, he had already secretly infiltrated the Talin Hub, venturing to a highly remote area of the hub to search for the core data of the hymn.
Traveling to the Talin Hub naturally required the use of galaxy-level transmission arrays.
To avoid exposing the fact that he had already advanced to Planet-level Third Rank, Su Yu painstakingly concealed his movents. For this purpose, he even learned several disguise spells from Blue Whale.
These disguise spells proved highly effective, allowing him to pass through unnoticed. From Feige to Talin and then departing Talin, no one discovered his presence.
…
Nothing major happened next. In a blink, two years passed.
Two years later, in the northeastern corner of Talin Hub, on an uninhabited planet, a thin, young man appeared.
It was, of course, Su Yu. Behind him, a massive, black spacecraft was docked.
The spacecraft asured approximately a hundred ters in length. Its entire surface emitted a tallic sheen alongside faint spatial ripples, giving it an aura of profound mystery.
This spacecraft was the one Su Yu bought from Stone Man Retdoz at the ti, spending 1.6 billion spiritual energy coins.
Nevertheless, it was worth every coin. This spacecraft was arguably the fastest on the market, excelling in wormhole traversal efficiency and even capable of fine-tuning its jump coordinates.
If not for this, Su Yu would have spent at least twice as long to reach this point.
With a single gesture, Su Yu imdiately stored the massive spacecraft into the space necklace.
The hundred-ter-long spacecraft vanished in an instant, as if magic.
Cat Morning Star perched on his shoulder.
Morning Star didn’t pay the slightest attention to the spaceship behind them—its gaze was locked dead ahead.
Thousands of ters in the high air before them, countless pale blue data streams flowed in the atmosphere, ultimately converging into a single point under imnse gravitational pull.
At this point, a Holy Silver woman, manifested by the hymn, stood proudly with closed eyes, absorbing the streams of data fully into her body.
“This wasn’t easy at all!” Su Yu couldn’t help but exclaim while asking AI Blue Whale, “Blue Whale, what’s the date today?”
Though AI Blue Whale’s coverage didn’t extend to such remote areas, Su Yu’s mini-version AI was equipped with an independent operating system that didn’t share data with the main AI.
“Administrator Su Yu, today is August 3rd, 2127 of the Blue Star Calendar,” AI Blue Whale responded. “It has been two years and one month since you left Mars.”
“Two years and one month? Ti flies so fast,” Su Yu remarked, clicking his tongue.
“Indeed,” Cat Morning Star chid in. “I didn’t expect so much ti had passed.”
“It’s twice as slow as our original plan,” Su Yu comnted with a trace of helplessness. “Looks like retrieving the next core data might take another one or two years.”
When Su Yu departed Mars, the hymn had sent him the coordinates of the core data’s location.
After leaving and passing through Talin Hub, he had to travel through three transmissions, perform 12 wormhole jumps, and fly a certain distance to reach the planet.
This planet, much like Blue Star, was one that was exceptionally difficult to locate. Even if one were Stellar Level, identifying its exact position would require imnse effort in matching star charts and spiritual power scanning.
However, Su Yu had the coordinates, making it relatively easy to locate with the hymn’s assistance, allowing him to successfully uncover the first piece of core data after two years.
Yet, the journey ti was double the original plan!
Originally, Su Yu had ticulously calculated the itinerary, estimating that it would take no more than a year under ideal conditions.
But the unexpected happened—many unexpected events!
Throughout his journey, Su Yu encountered mysterious enemies 13 tis.
These enemies ranged from rebel organizations, interstellar pirates, native factions, and even regular troops from the star regions under Talin Hub’s jurisdiction!
Most of these adversaries engaged him without warning, seemingly able to easily track his location, launching warships to attack his spacecraft directly.
And that wasn’t even the scariest part—the most terrifying ordeal involved a winged native human who interfered as he was about to enter a wormhole!
That particular wormhole was so turbulent that Su Yu’s spacecraft was nearly thrown out!
Thankfully, the hymn employed so unknown thod to stabilize the ship’s shape and straighten the spatial spirals within the wormhole, allowing them to pass through successfully.
The consequences of being thrown out of the wormhole would have been unimaginable!
As wormholes are primarily ford through the principle of spatial folding, if one views space as a plane, then wormholes are points where two folded planes et.
If they were thrown from the wormhole, the worst-case scenario would result in the destruction of ship and crew. Even in the best-case scenario, they wouldn’t know which corner of the Milky Way they’d end up in.
Should they accidentally end up in a different hub, the ti it would take to return would increase exponentially.
Due to these more than ten enemy encounters, Su Yu spent twice the planned ti to reach this location.
