He had always seen Donna as soone with a light and breezy deanor, so this was the first ti he witnessed her looking like a statue.

Su Yu had just begun to speak when Donna suddenly snapped back to reality and interrupted him, “Don’t talk now!”

A dozen seconds later, a pale blue teleportation portal opened before them. Lin ke, clad in a pale blue sleeping robe, stepped out of the portal with long strides.

Listening to the two of them continuously babbling in Holy Silver Common Tongue left Su Yu feeling rather helpless.
If only he’d brought Cat Morning Star, who has a passive skill for language comprehension, she’d have been able to understand the Holy Silver Common Tongue and could have helped translate, sparing him from being completely clueless like a deaf person.

But seeing their grave expressions, Su Yu did not speak.
Donna had always been friendly towards him; she must have her reasons for not wanting to share the situation with him.

Three minutes later, Donna’s communication terminal started to beep incessantly.

And evidently, the sender of these ssages was hymn.
Seeing this, Su Yu was shocked. Why would hymn send so many ssages all at once?
But Donna and Lin ke could not be concerned with that anymore, as they leaned in close to the virtual screen and started reading intently.
While going through the barrage of ssages, their expressions kept changing—surprise, anger, confusion, fear… Their faces displaying a variety of emotions.

Donna collapsed onto the couch in the living room, her eyes lifeless as though her soul had been siphoned away.

But Donna didn’t care about any of that, lifelessly half-lying on the couch like a salted fish that had washed up on the shore.
Lin ke also completely froze.
He stood as stiff as a pole, without moving an inch.
It was uncertain what they had seen to cause them such great shock.
Su Yu remained silent beside them, and the room fell into utter stillness.

Two more minutes passed, and Lin ke from the pair of siblings was the first to recover.
With a single wave of his hand, a pale blue teleportation portal appeared in front of him.
Then he stepped through the teleportation portal without looking back, disappearing from the living room.
Noticing her brother’s departure, Donna gradually ca back to her senses as well.
But she did not look at the virtual screen projected from the terminal; instead, she turned to gaze out the window, staring at the pure white sky of the Imperial Capital as if lost in thought.
“Senior Donna, what exactly happened?” Su Yu asked softly at the right mont, “Is there anything I can help with?”
Donna didn’t imdiately answer Su Yu but continued staring blankly out the window.
After a dozen seconds, she turned to look at Su Yu.
First, she straightened the clothes at her chest, buttoning up the nightrobe, then she slowly asked, “Did Bernina Tide just tell you about the ‘Five major rebel organizations’ in the evolution ga?”
“That’s right,” Su Yu answered honestly.
“Which five?” Donna stared at him.
Recalling their nas, Su Yu replied, “Glory Rebels, Wings of Freedom, Dark Energy Rebel Army, Seed Saver, Defy Fate.”
