Chapter 108: Chapter 107: Tier Seven, Tier Seven! A Sudden, Heaven-Shaking Reward
「Inference Day, the thirty-eighth day.」
The reconstruction of the abandoned Mountain City was now well underway.
And as more and more people migrated here, the population soon surpassed ten thousand.
During this ti, Lince had sent York back to the Swamp Territory once.
He had also instructed York to bring back a large supply of grain seeds upon his return.
As a result, with the Mountain City at its core, vast tracts of land were cleared at the foot of the mountain for the new city—the Dawn Territory—all with the help of Demon Beasts.
Furthermore, with the assistance of several Middle Tier Wood Elental Demon Beasts, the first crop of grain had already sprouted rapidly in these fields.
’In an Extraordinary world, how could they possibly lack food?’
With the help of so many Demon Beasts, Lince would be a laughingstock if they ran out of food!
The reconstruction of the Mountain City was also proceeding more smoothly than expected.
Lince didn’t even have to worry about it.
All York had to do was inform the Shadow Wind Giant Eagle, who now acted as his aide. The eagle would then, in its capacity as a ssenger for Lince, the Son of the Dragon God, summon a group of Earth Elent Demon Beasts to help York rebuild the ruins.
Thus, after just twenty-odd days, the frequent sight of Demon Beasts in large numbers no longer caused any panic among the humans in the new territory.
They all knew that under the code of the great Dragon God, no Demon Beast was permitted to harm a human, and no human was permitted to harm a Demon Beast.
From this day forward, all the slaves, Commoners, rcenaries, and even the fallen Nobility shared a single identity.
They were the people of the Dawn Territory, subjects of the rciful Space Dragon!
In this New World, neither Commoners nor slaves would have a life worse than the one they had before.
In fact, because it was a newly established territory, the standard of living was many tis better than what most of them had ever experienced.
At the very least, under the rule of the rciful Dragon God and the great Lord Marquis, they could finally eat their fill!
Of course, they also had work to do.
Whether it was clearing land or rebuilding, not every task could be handled by Demon Beasts.
The Demon Beasts handled half the work, and the humans had to handle the other half.
Once the initial reconstruction was complete, the Demon Beasts would no longer assist them.
The Human Race had to beco self-sufficient!
This was the Oracle from their so-called Dragon God.
The plaza housing the Gate of Truth had now been expanded even further.
Above the original plaza, a host of Earth-attribute Demon Beasts were coordinating under Lince’s command to construct an even more massive palace.
The scale of this palace was destined to far surpass that of the previous Underground Space.
This palace would be their Divine Hall.
In ti, the Divine Hall would encompass the entire plaza of the Gate of Truth and extend deep into the heart of the mountain.
The new Human Race settlent was planned for the areas on either side of the palace, at a distance of at least three kiloters.
This created a vista with the Divine Hall at its center, flanked by the human-built Mountain City nestled against the slopes.
A great number of stone and earth structures sprang up in just over twenty days.
Many of the more educated Commoners, and even fallen rchants and Nobility, joined York’s ranks to help him plan the blueprint for this fledgling ’Kingdom’.
No one was a fool.
It didn’t take a genius to figure out how far York could go with the protection of Divine Favor and Demon Beasts.
Thus, the joy of this blessing in disguise sent many into a state of ecstasy.
The prospect of earning a Dragon’s rit constantly flickered in their minds.
Therefore, under the suppression of absolute Power, while so may have harbored dissent, most didn’t dare act on it.
Moreover, York had organized the more powerful individuals into groups and placed them under supervision.
And so, in a little over twenty days, everything within the Mountain City was thriving and bustling with feverish activity.
anwhile, after these twenty-so days, Lince himself was about to reap a great harvest.
Unlike the last Inference Day, now that he possessed a Divine Tier Bloodline and even the Divine Title of Pseudo-God, Lince’s sources of growth were no longer limited to normal developnt or even warfare.
He had gained an additional source of growth.
Naly, the rewards he could obtain at certain stages of discovering and exploring the New World map.
And now, after more than twenty days of effort, the reward for the first stage had appeared!
This ti, the reward wasn’t one that he had to wait to receive after exiting or completing the Inference Day.
The reward for map exploration was given in real-ti!
[Congratulations, Player. The faction under your command has successfully completed a detailed exploration of a one-hundred-kiloter radius on the new map and has taken effective control of the area.]
[You have received a double reward for the first-ti exploration and occupation of this map area. Growth Level Reward:
30%. Claimable at any ti.]
Lince, who was overseeing the construction of the Divine Hall, froze at the sudden notification.
But his shock quickly turned into elation!
’Holy cow! I can’t believe it!’
Lince still had a 25% reward he couldn’t claim, as it was only accessible in the next normal ga session. (See the end of Chapter 93 for details.)
Because of that, Lince had been a little disappointed that he couldn’t advance to Tier Seven during this Inference Day.
But now?
This sudden reward during the Inference Day sent him into a state of pure joy.
Two breakthroughs in a single day of the ga.
’This Pseudo-God Divine Title is aweso!’
He could now enter Tier Seven at any mont.
The difference of a single Tier shouldn’t be underestimated.
A Middle Tier Giant Dragon and a High Tier Giant Dragon were on completely different levels!
This was a breakthrough to a new Grand Tier. What’s more, Lince was a Pure-blooded Giant Dragon possessing a Divine Tier Bloodline!
Even with a diluted Divine Tier Bloodline, the changes brought by this growth were sure to be imnse.
Moreover, he was now one step closer to Ascension to Divinity!
Suppressing his excitent, Lince decided to give everyone a massive shock this ti!
Watching the sun set, Lince waited patiently.
Finally, at a certain mont after night had fallen...
"ROAR!!!"
The Giant Dragon’s roar echoed throughout the entire mountain range!
On the mountaintop, the Earth Bear was startled awake.
At the sa ti, more Middle Tier Demon Beasts erged from their own territories.
Within the Mountain City, the ten thousand-plus Commoners and slaves, weary from a long day’s work, were also startled. They all looked toward the source of the sound!
And then, in the very next mont!
The Giant Dragon soared into the sky!
Simultaneously, a thick, bright, milky-white pillar of light pierced the heavens.
It descended from the night sky, striking the Giant Dragon hovering low over the mountaintop!
At that mont, under the watchful eyes of countless humans and Demon Beasts, Lince displayed what could only be called a Miracle to these creatures for the very first ti!
"Your Majesty!"
"The Dragon God! The great Dragon God has descended once more!"
"..."
Struck dumb with awe, every living being in the vicinity of the Mountain City could clearly see.
Bathed in the radiant light of the Miracle, the Giant Dragon of the Mortal World began to undergo a divine transformation!
The Giant Dragon’s body began to swell!
Within the pillar of light, its silhouette stretched ever larger.
Its length grew and grew.
Its shoulder height climbed higher and higher.
Sixty ters.
Seventy ters.
Eighty ters.
...
The Giant Dragon’s shadow within the searing-white pillar of light grew larger and changed faster!
Finally, as the light at the edges of the pillar began to fade, a completely transford Giant Dragon was revealed!
Its body now stretched over two hundred and fifty ters long!
When standing on its hind legs, its shoulder height surpassed one hundred and twenty ters.
Simultaneously, the gray, tallic, rock-like sheen of its entire body had completely transford.
On its new Dragon Scales, the gray tal luster had beco a deep, glaze-like black.
These black, glazed tal scales also radiated a fluctuation that distorted the Space around them.
When viewed from different angles, its form would appear twisted and slanted, at other tis stretched long or compressed flat.
Then again, it might seem squat and stout, as if squashed.
This was rely an effect of the Space around the Giant Dragon, which acted like a distorting mirror.
These effects deceived the eyes of all who looked upon it.
In reality, the Giant Dragon hovering there was an unwavering colossus, so two hundred and fifty ters in length.
A single breakthrough to the High Tier. This brought about changes far beyond those of an ordinary Minor Tier breakthrough.
Lince’s entire Body Type, in every aspect, had grown nearly fivefold!
And this rate of growth would only beco more exaggerated! It would not diminish with each subsequent breakthrough.
Furthermore, in terms of sheer strength, the comprehensive breakthrough to High Tier had completely unleashed the true Potential of his Mythical Level Bloodline.
He was strong now. Incredibly strong!!!
So strong that Lince now dared to challenge even a Tier Nine Sub-dragon!
The Tier Eight Earth Bear was no longer a worthy opponent for him!
This was evident from their Body Type alone.
Compared to Lince now, the sixty-ter Earth Bear was like a small red panda next to a human.
There was simply no comparison!
What’s more, a Giant Dragon’s strength was directly linked to its Body Type! It wasn’t sothing that ordinary Demon Beasts or Sea Beasts, which had size but lacked true strength, could ever hope to match.
The leap to High Tier was a world of difference!
Right now, Lince felt terrifyingly powerful.
’Is this the power of a Divine Tier Bloodline?’
’Good! This is very good!’
Lince had expected a significant power boost upon entering the High Tier, one far greater than any before.
But he had never imagined it would be this monuntal—it had completely surpassed his expectations!
His current Body Type was now even a size larger than the Tier Nine Red Dragon, Crimson.
’Does this an I can afford to be a bit more aggressive, moving away from the cautious developnt plan I had after gathering the native humans and information?’
Lince pondered this.
But more than that, Lince was marveling at the flood of information about his promotion that was coursing through his mind.
He could even see it now.
On his Attribute panel, the ’diluted’ descriptor next to his Space Dragon Bloodline had completely vanished.
The word ’diluted’ was gone!
At the sa ti, there were significant changes to his Abilities.
In the strictest sense, Lince could now be called a true candidate for godhood!
Space Dragon!
The authority of the Dragon God would soon be in his grasp!
Lince marveled, reveling in his newfound Power.
anwhile, both on the mountaintop and within the Mountain City, countless humans were trembling and prostrating themselves in involuntary worship.
And up on the peak, the Earth Bear was plunged into a deep state of self-doubt.
’Is His Majesty truly just a Dragon God’s Favored, just the Son of the Dragon God?’
’Or is he the true Dragon God, descended into the Mortal World?’
Watching the Rock Steel Giant’s incredible, divine transformation and feeling the oppressive pressure from its Bloodline emanating from the sky, the Earth Bear was overco with profound awe.
