Joyful tis always pass quickly.

In the blink of an eye, several more days had gone by.

And Su Yan, who had been staying in the wooden hut with Jiu Li, inevitably felt his Spirit wane a little more.

This just goes to show that the old saying 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' isn't always true; sotis, it can even beco an unbearable burden.

"I can't do this anymore. I need to go back."

With a haggard face, Su Yan sat up in bed and murmured to himself. This life is unbearable; I need to escape this wooden hut as soon as possible.

Thinking this, Su Yan slowly lifted the quilt and deftly got out of bed, planning to sneak away.

However, just as he moved, Jiu Li, who had seed sound asleep beside him, sohow stirred and woke up in a daze.

Weariness tinged her features as she groggily sat up.

After a couple of seconds of blinking herself awake, she skillfully wrapped her arms around Su Yan's neck and asked sweetly, "Sir, when did you wake up?"

"I haven't been awake for long," Su Yan said, his deanor unruffled.

Jiu Li smiled and then suggested affectionately, "Sir, why don't you stay in the Mirror World with and live here?"

"Let's talk about that later," Su Yan replied. "Right now, I have a lot of things to do in the Mirror outside world."

Upon hearing this, Jiu Li let out a slightly unhappy "Oh."

Su Yan noticed the unhappiness on her face but had no intention of coaxing her.

He just said calmly, "All things considered, I've been here for about a week, and it's ti for to go back. Can you use your Plane Symbol to send back?"

"Sir, won't you stay a few more days?" Jiu Li asked, seeming reluctant, her fair and lovely face filled with unwillingness to let him go.

"No, I have to deal with sothing right now. I'll co back next ti," Su Yan said, shaking his head.

"Oh," Jiu Li responded, pursing her lips.

Then, sowhat unwillingly, she got out of bed and sat down at the wooden table beside it.

Next, she took out an inkstone and porcelain mallet and began to skillfully grind an ink stick.

Seeing this, Su Yan also got out of bed and sat down beside Jiu Li.

Without uttering a single word, he quietly watched Jiu Li grind the ink, admiring the beautiful, classic scene of her delicate hands at work.

Before long, Jiu Li finished grinding the ink and started on the part Su Yan was most looking forward to: the drawing of the talisman.

Under Su Yan's gaze, Jiu Li slipped her fair right hand into her bosom and pulled out a blank yellow Talisman Paper.

At this sight, Su Yan couldn't help but feel puzzled. How did she pull out a Talisman Paper from her bosom just like that? I've been sharing a bed with her these past few days and know exactly what she has on her. Where could she possibly hide a Talisman Paper? What in the world is going on?

The more Su Yan thought about it, the more puzzled he beca, until he finally couldn't hold back and asked, "How did you take out a Talisman Paper from your bosom?"

"It's a secret," Jiu Li replied with a charming smile.

Her response left Su Yan itching with curiosity, and for once, he pressed on affectionately, "Little Nine Fox, we've shared so many days and nights in the sa bed; we should be completely honest with each other and keep no secrets."

"Do you really want to know?" Jiu Li asked leisurely, a smile on her face as she dipped the writing brush in ink.

"I do," Su Yan said, nodding.

Upon hearing this, Jiu Li arched her pretty willow-like eyebrows and then said with a smile, "If Sir is willing to stay here and live with , then I'll share this little secret with you."

"Not right now, I really do have matters to attend to," Su Yan said. "How about you tell the secret first, and after I take care of affairs in the Mirror outside world, I'll co back to keep you company? How does that sound?"

Jiu Li glanced at Su Yan, playfully rolled her beautiful eyes, and said, "Since that's the case, I'll wait for Sir to finish those matters, and then I'll share the secret with you."

Such a stubborn Fox Demon... Su Yan thought, then said with a forced smile, "That's fine."

The question of where the Talisman Paper ca from was, for now, glossed over.

For a while, both human and fox were quiet.

Jiu Li anchored the paper with her left hand and held the brush in her right, concentrating deeply as she skillfully moved it to draw the talisman.

She drew the symbols quickly. The mont her brush touched the paper, several mysterious symbols appeared. As the brush moved steadily downward, more symbols erged. Before long, the once-blank Talisman Paper was covered in these enigmatic markings.

These symbols seed random, but when viewed together on the Talisman Paper, they vaguely resembled the Formations described in novels—complex and profound, yet possessing an indescribable sense of order. It was a truly paradoxical feeling.

"Sir, I'm done," Jiu Li said, waving the finished Talisman Paper in front of Su Yan, her exquisite, flawless little face clearly fishing for complints on her capability.

"I didn't expect you to be so capable," Su Yan said, smiling as he lightly tapped her small, cute nose. "It seems I can no longer treat you as just a salted fish who only knows how to play on her phone."

"You're the salted fish," Jiu Li pouted.

Although Su Yan's words were complintary, the part about no longer seeing her as a salted fish made Jiu Li uncomfortable.

So, after we've been living together for so long, you've just seen as a salted fish this whole ti? Where's your conscience? Ugh, n! Give it a rest! Jiu Li grumbled inwardly, then looked at Su Yan and said, "Sir, I've finished the Talisman Paper. Are you planning to go back now?"

As she spoke, her face showed her reluctance. Obviously, she was desperately hinting for Su Yan to stay a little longer with her.

Though blunt, Su Yan was not stupid; he knew Jiu Li was strongly hinting.

But I really don't want to stay a mont longer! If I stay just a little longer, I'll truly be drained dry by this Fox Demon! I must return to rejuvenate; I absolutely can't stay any longer to indulge in affection with her!

Thinking this, Su Yan said, quite heartlessly, "Ti is tight; I need to go back now."

"I see..." Jiu Li sighed, a note of disappointnt in her voice.

Hearing her, Su Yan felt no inner turmoil, only a desire to leave this wooden hut, filled with its heart-racing, intoxicating scents, as soon as possible.

Quickly, he took the Talisman Paper from Jiu Li's hand. "I'll co back to keep you company in a month," he said with a smile. "Then, I'll do whatever you want."

Having said that, he walked over to a mirror in the corner of the hut, holding the Talisman Paper, and gently stuck it onto the mirror's surface.

Then, the next mont!

The once tranquil mirror surface, like water struck by a stone, suddenly rippled. More and more ripples appeared, layering one upon another.

After about five or six seconds, the mirror surface completely dissolved into a void, connecting to the Mirror outside world.

Truly magical!

Seeing this, Su Yan couldn't help but marvel inwardly. Then he reached out to touch the mirror, and his whole body was sucked in by a pulling force.

Just before his figure completely disappeared, he called back to Jiu Li, "I'll co back to keep you company next month!"
