5:30 PM.

At this mont, Demon Capital University’s Sports Stadium finally welcod the long-anticipated National University League finals. The scene erupted with cheers like a mountain tremor and a tsunami wave. The Demon University students, who held an overwhelming nurical advantage, all cheered and shouted at the top of their lungs. Their voices rose wave upon wave, causing many teachers and students from other universities to feel irritated by the sheer volu. But there was nothing to be done about it. After all, this year’s tournant was hosted at Demon University. Being the away team, it was entirely normal to be under a certain amount of atmospheric pressure.

...

"Are you two ready?"

"Yes, ready."

"Ready."

Seeing that both contestants had nodded their readiness, the referee imdiately utilized his spiritual power. From several ters away, he pressed the ready buttons behind the two competitors.

Imdiately following that, a countdown tir suddenly appeared on the large screen above the Martial Arts Platform.

"10, 9, 8..."

The countdown lasted ten seconds. It seed short, but each second felt like an eternity. During this period, many in the audience began to talk amongst themselves, discussing the potential outco of the finals. Setting aside the students and teachers from Demon Capital University and Jingdou University, the general consensus hovered around a 70-30 split. Among them, Zhou Yuanwei from Demon Capital University was given a 70 percent chance of winning, while Su Yan from Jingdou University was given a 30 percent chance.

The reason for such a disparity in the odds primarily lay in Zhou Yuanwei’s ho-field advantage and his greater fa. Based on these two factors, each contributed an additional ten percent to his probability of winning. This interplay of factors thus resulted in a 70-30 split. However, this 70-30 discussion was mainly prevalent among students and had its limitations; in terms of credibility, it was relatively lacking.

Among the majority of university teachers, and according to so related recreational event predictions, the odds for both were seen as a 60-40 split. There were even many forecasts of a 5.5 to 4.5 spread. In their view, Zhou Yuanwei undoubtedly held a certain advantage in today’s National University League match. But this edge wasn’t significant; he didn’t display an overwhelming dominance. It could only be said that he was slightly favored, but for the most part, they were considered evenly matched.

"It’s rather bizarre this year that the two finalists on the Martial Arts Platform are both first-year freshn."

"Bizarre? More like outrageous, right?!"

"I wonder what the upperclassn who were knocked out are thinking right now, as they watch these two finalists on the platform."

"What else can they think? They probably wish they could just crawl into a hole and hide."

"Haha, indeed. After studying at the university for three or four years, to be thoroughly beaten by two freshn... that’s truly sothing else."

"This year’s National University League finals is destined to be recorded in history."

Below the platform, many university teachers and first-year students chatted sporadically, their faces etched with profound emotion. This year’s National University League was too unexpected, too sensational. Who could have guessed that the two finalists standing on the Martial Arts Platform would turn out to be first-year students? It was simply preposterous!

anwhile, the countdown on the large screen above the platform ended.

In an instant, both contestants struck simultaneously! Their figures vanished in a flash, transforming into two afterimages that collided. The fact that they moved at the sa mont was rely a coincidence.

Su Yan’s plan was to end the battle swiftly and then focus on the potential attacks that might follow.

Zhou Yuanwei, on the other hand, was worried about an upset, so he chose to strike first and hard.

Soon, before the astonished audience could fully react, their two afterimages intersected at blinding speed. The next mont, with a loud BANG, a figure suddenly plumted, slamming into the floor with a thunderous crash that sent fragnts of the shattered flooring flying.

It was Zhou Yuanwei! In the instant their afterimages had crossed, he had suffered a powerful elbow strike from Su Yan.

Imdiately, as if crushed by the weight of Mount Tai, before he could even register the pain, his entire body smashed into the Martial Arts Platform, sinking into it.

Then... he was completely unconscious, utterly motionless.

Witnessing this scene on the platform, everyone present was utterly flabbergasted. Is it... over?

A second? Or half a second? Before they could even blink, this highly anticipated final was over. The speed was so incredible that no one in the venue had ti to react. The arena fell into such an unusual silence that an uninford onlooker might have thought they’d been transported to the Ice Age, with everyone frozen solid.

"Referee, it’s over."

Seeing the referee still petrified, Su Yan stepped forward and waved a hand in front of him, signaling him to quickly announce the match result.

Hearing Su Yan’s voice, the referee, who had been petrified for several seconds, finally snapped out of his shock. With a look of utter disbelief, he raised Su Yan’s right arm and declared, "The winner is Su Yan!"

The referee’s loud declaration was like a boulder thrown into a calm lake, instantly whipping up a storm of waves. Wave after wave of reaction washed over the crowd, awakening all the stupefied spectators below.

"How... how is this possible!"

"Is this a joke?"

"My mom asked why I was kneeling to watch the match. I pointed to the scene on the platform, and Mom knelt down too, exclaiming, ’Holy shit!’"

"Jing University is unbeatable!!!"

"Aaaah, Younger Brother Su, how can you be so aweso?! Aaaaaah!"
