What is the Misty Star Region?
As the na implies, the Misty Star Region is a star domain filled with a special Stardust fog energy, which might have been left over from the Multiverse Era or could be an accidental product ford after the creation of the Shattered Starry Sea.
However, one thing is certain: within this fog, there is an extrely strong magnetic interference field, making it difficult for living beings or starships entering it to utilize radar technology effectively, and they easily get lost.
With an uncertain gleam in his eyes, Song Chi did not directly enter this Misty Star Region.
It wasn't because he doubted the information provided by Kendall·Eagle; through the component "Oath Pact," he had already confird the truth of everything the other party had said.
What he hesitated about was whether to leave a Spatial Anchor Point in place; if so, he would have to cancel the anchor point set in the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong.
The advantage of doing so would naturally ensure that if he got lost, he could always transit back to the starting point via the Ruins Market and resu exploration without needing to return to the Dragon Spine Continent.
The downside, however, was that without a Spatial Anchor Point in the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong, once he rushed into the Misty Star Region, it would be difficult to freely enter and exit the Ruins Market, after all, if there's even a slight deviation in the warship lingering outside, he, the ship captain, might appear directly in the endless fog upon leaving the Ruins Market.
As for leaving a Space Beacon with components like a Spatial Beacon?
That was impossible; according to the special rules of Torch Human Civilization, only Space Beacons located far outside the Torch Humanity Galaxy Cluster could be activated—any Space Beacons set within the domain of Torch Human Civilization, or even within a Galaxy Cluster surrounding the Torch Humanity Galaxy Cluster, would be inoperative.
The creation of this rule was due to incidents in the early days of Torch Human Civilization where Torch Warship Captains left behind in Alien Territories were enslaved by high-level alien civilizations; those Torch Warship Captains returned using the first Space Beacons left within the domain of Torch Human Civilization, eventually opening a long-distance spatial transfer channel for that advanced alien civilization after long-term plotting, leading to a massive invasion by the Alien Race.
During that civilization invasion, the Four Great Empires of Torch Humanity paid a heavy price, barely achieving victory by a slim margin; had Torch Human Civilization been in contact or collided with the Eight-Ard Snake Demon Civilization at that ti, whether it could have survived to this day in the face of internal and external troubles remains questionable.
It was the severe consequences of that ti that led the Four Great Empires of Torch Humanity, in painful contemplation, to finally co together and establish this rule.
Since the implentation of this rule, there have been no such incidents in Torch Human Civilization over the subsequent two hundred thousand years.
After all, the Torch Ship Captains, shielded by the Seed of Torch, possessed Spiritual Force that ranked high in the Shattered Starry Sea; even if they encountered Alien Races skilled in enslavent, bewitchnt, and illusion techniques in Alien Territories, completely enslaving a Torch Warship Captain was not sothing achievable within a re 24 hours.
And once more than 24 hours passed, they would miss the return window of the Torch Warship, and even if the aliens succeeded in enslaving a Torch Warship Captain thereafter, they could no longer traverse countless billions of light-years back to the domain of Torch Human Civilization to execute any plans.
...
"Forget it, it's unknown how long I will stay in this fog. Future trades in the Ruins Market must enter the market. If I really get lost, I might as well return to the Dragon Spine Continent first. The straight-line distance from the Dragon Spine Continent to the Chaotic Star Field is not more than ten thousand light-years, and the ti required is not long..."
Muttering, Song Chi's eyes beca determined, followed by the warship's engines roaring, propelling the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong into the fog ahead.
Zzzt zzzt zzzt!
As soon as they entered the fog, the side Sky Patrol Radar made a strange buzzing noise, and turning his head to look, Song Chi frowned.
The originally impressive Detection Range of "Peeping Spirit Eyes" now showed a radar diater of rely ten million kiloters—a distance that seed significant but was actually insignificant in the context of the Starry Sea. Compared to the Chaotic Star Zone, which is hundreds of light-years in diater, ten million kiloters is utterly negligible.
Fortunately, the component "Aurora Jump Device" with the feature "Transit Star Chart Collector" remained operational. Now upgraded to the fifth rank, this feature could generate a Star Chart with a range 240 tis the detection range of the Sky Patrol Radar, which ant a diater of 2.4 billion kiloters, a radius of 1.2 billion kiloters.
Compared to the Chaotic Star Zone, this detection radius was trivial, equivalent to only two light-minutes, but overall, it was still acceptable and prevented the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong from aimlessly darting around like a headless fly.
Additionally, another alert soon sounded within the warship.
[Attention, external corrosive energy continuously erodes the Energy Shield; current Energy Shield Shield Value has decreased by 1%.]
To this, Song Chi was indifferent; the alert sounded re seconds after the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong had entered the fog, indicating that it took about 5-6 seconds to erode 1% of the Shield Value of the Five Elents Celestial Energy Shield, which didn't exceed the repair speed of the "Neutron Star Core Pulse" feature.
Next, Song Chi controlled the warship, heading deeper into the fog, while he quickly instructed the Do Sky Wisdom Brain to notify him imdiately if it detected any high-intensity energy fluctuations.
