Song Chi stood on the bridge of the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong, coldly observing the brutal battlefield ahead and the Bottomless Abyss which was swiftly completing its half-dinsional transition, growing increasingly fearso.
He could feel the abyss’s repelling force becoming so strong that even the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong’s seven-colored engine started to emit an overloaded hum.
It was ti.
With a thought, the White Bone Giant, entangled with the Transcendent Heart Stealer, suddenly exploded with power, temporarily forcing the opponent back and then transford into a stream of light, rging into the body of the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong.
On the other side, the Space-Ti Nether Brilliance Dragon, at the mont when the effect of the Enslavent Mark: Frenzy ended and its aura plumted, took advantage of the destruction beam attack by the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong and the Mirror Image Warship to force the Transcendent Demon back, and was then recalled by the Divine Thought Seal.
The next mont, all engines of the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong powered up, the chaotic radiance flowing across the hull tore through the increasingly sticky abyssal rules, transforming into a stream of light surpassing the limits, swiftly heading in the direction of the retreating Torch Fleet.
The Transcendent Heart Stealer and Transcendent Demon wanted to pursue, but it was already too late, and they could only let out unwilling roars.
When the Bottomless Abyss completed that final half-step transition, completely becoming a semi-high-dinsional land, radiating complete high-dinsional pressure, the last essence of the All Heavens Star Sea Alliance Army, including Song Chi and his flagship, had successfully escaped the abyss’s range, returning to that familiar Starry Sea.
Looking back, the once all-devouring massive abyssal entrance now seed to be covered by a veil of high-dinsional silk, becoming blurry and distant, with an invisible barrier already ford.
The abyssal blood battle thus ca to an end.
Yet, this wasn’t what drew attention at the mont. All the living beings of the All Heavens Star Sea who tily escaped the Bottomless Abyss now all looked back, their eyes filled with boundless sorrow and rage, staring at the struggling and wailing from behind.
The partial dinsion-raising process of the Bottomless Abyss was even faster than imagined; only a minority of the alliance mbers managed to retreat early. Most of the survivors couldn’t return to the Starry Sea in ti, resulting in being completely blocked off by the semi-high-dinsional barrier newly forming in the Bottomless Abyss, making further escape almost impossible in the short term.
...
At the junction of the Starry Sea and the abyss, the remaining alliance warriors had just escaped that suffocating Demon Energy Domain, and before they could feel the comfort of the Starry Sea’s origin, the scene behind them gripped their hearts tightly.
Looking back, the once clear abyssal entrance was now shrouded by an ever-twisting and strengthening semi-high-dinsional barrier. The barrier shimred with iridescence yet emitted a despairing aura of isolation.
And beyond that barrier, indistinctly, were countless warships from the alliance which failed to escape in ti, Titan Giants, Eternal Starships, chanical units, and figures from various formidable races.
They were like insects trapped in amber, desperately attacking and crashing against the rapidly solidifying barrier.
Energy beams struck the barrier, only to cause ripples; giant war hamrs fell, but it was like striking primordial divine iron, with the counterforce making the users vomit blood; those adept at space traversal tried to tear the dinsion apart, only to find the surrounding space-ti structure completely solidified and indestructible.
"No! Let us go!"
"Emperor Sky-splitting, save us!"
"Eternal Ancestor——!"
Desperate cries, unwilling roars, dying wails... faintly transmitted through the not yet fully isolated barrier, like innurable sharp knives, rcilessly scraping the souls of every successful escapee.
Most of them were units heavily damaged in the previous Battle of the Fla Prison Abyss, moving slower, or warriors who stayed behind to cover their comrades’ retreat.
Among them were key mbers of the Titan Legion, elite mages from the Eternal Clan, seasoned Star Speakers from the Source Star Divine Hall, and a large number of remaining seeds from dium to large civilizations...
The Sky-splitting God King’s massive fists clenched tightly, and the light on the blade of his ax flickered with fierce anger as he watched a Titan Commander, who had followed him into many battles over the years, madly pounding the barrier, eventually overwheld by swarming demons, letting out one final roar of unwillingness.
The Eternal Ancestor’s ti fragnts were chaotic around him, as he tried to retrospectively alter events with the power of ti, but the semi-high-dinsional barrier already had the preliminary ability to interfere with ti, rendering his efforts futile, as he could only watch one after another of the Eternal Clan turn into eternal stardust amidst demon flas.
The Mother of Ten Thousand Machines’ chanical core emitted a piercing alarm, calculating countless rescue plans, but the results were invariably—failure.
Forcing an attack on the barrier would only accelerate its solidification, and could even trigger a dinsional storm, completely annihilating those inside.
The body of the Source Star God Master, already severely injured, trembled slightly, his starlight dimd, unable to bear watching any longer.
An unspeakable sorrow and boundless rage perated the alliance that successfully withdrew. They won, preventing the perfect dinsion-raising of the abyss and reclaiming vitality for the Starry Sea, but at the cost of such a painful price, watching helplessly as countless comrades and allies were forever left in that purgatory which was about to beco the enemy’s domain.
Song Chi stood on the bridge of the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong, his expression cold as iron. He saw several captains of the Torch Fleet, who had stayed behind to block and shield the main forces, ultimately unable to break through. Their life signals abruptly halted in the Torch communications network just before the barrier completely closed.
He knew that the fate of those trapped in the alliance was already sealed; in the face of the Demonic Clan, backed fully by the Abyss’s will after completing the preliminary transition, they wouldn’t hold out for long.
Awaiting them was only death in battle, or... becoming nourishnt for the abyss amid endless tornt.
"Abyss..."
Song Chi murmured these two words, engraving them deeply in his heart, vowing to repay today’s blood debt a hundredfold in the future.
The semi-high-dinsional barrier finally solidified completely, like a giant, cold tombstone, severing two worlds. The voices and shadows beyond the barrier vanished entirely, leaving only the dead silence of darkness and the faint and ominous abyssal pressure perating that area.
The remaining alliance forces, in lifeless silence, began to regroup, tallying the grievous casualties, less than one-tenth surviving, with infinite sorrow and entrenched hatred, they embarked on the journey back towards their respective civilizations.
The abyssal blood battle thus concluded in such a tragic and heroic manner.
However, all beings knew in their hearts, this was far from the end. With the tumult in the abyss, countless civilizations and forces in the All Heavens Star Sea were obliterated, leaving regions rich in resources vacant, which in the future, will undoubtedly beco focal points of contention for all surviving civilizations.
It is imaginable that, in the near future, the All Heavens Star Sea would plunge into another era of bloody warfare, and until a new overlord, mythic civilization, or force erges, this chaos would not end easily.
...
Shattered Starry Sea, Torch Domain.
Song Chi, Jiang Yuan, and the surviving mbers of the Torch Expedition Army had barely returned to the domain when another supre eting of the Torch Civilization was called, naturally centered on strategies to address the upcoming era of new chaos.
The outco of this discussion was unsurprising; all factions advocated for outward expansion. With Song Chi, a transcendent force himself, now holding sway, the Torch Civilization was recognized as one of the Transcendent Forces of the All Heavens Star Sea, and under such circumstances, the Torch Civilization must seize this opportunity to expand with all their might, compensating for their lack of foundational depth due to a short heritage ti.
Finally, the ultimate decision of the eting was reached.
The five Great Torch Empires would each lead an expedition fleet in five different directions to expand, while the Mythical Powers would reside in the Zhu Tian Ruins Market as support.
During this process, Song Chi received ssages from the Eternal Clan and Titan Giant Clan, expressing a desire to reach a consensus, where the three transcendent forces would each hold their territories, not interfering with each other.
To this, Song Chi didn’t hesitate much and soon agreed.
The Shattered Starry Sea is vast enough that even with three transcendent forces, or even ten or dozens, there would be room enough. Moreover, it is rely the early days of the Starry Sea; hundreds of millions or even billions of years later, with the passage of ti, the Shattered Starry Sea would continue to expand.
