Chapter 1004: Chapter 524: Delighted to Hear About the “Ti Chess Board

Song Chi and Song Yan waited silently for two days, but the Seventh Rank Astrologer still hadn’t appeared.

As the appointed ti with Jing Ji and Jing Hu drew near, Song Chi pondered for a long ti before finally giving up on the idea of waiting any longer.

[Astrology Tower] had stood in this [Holy Light City] for tens of thousands of years and would continue to exist long thereafter. There was no urgency in this mont.

“Big brother, let’s go!”

As soon as the words were spoken, before the two could turn away, the long-sealed divination window, closed for months, abruptly swung open.

When he saw this, Song Chi, knowing the opening would only last a few minutes, didn’t hesitate for a second. He stepped forward quickly and handed over the [Ti Chess] component radiating silver light in his hand.

An elderly hand flashed briefly. By the ti Song Chi reacted, the [Ti Chess] was no longer in his grasp.

Quick to respond, Song Chi imdiately voiced his request.

“Master, I seek to divine the location of this object’s main body!”

Silence followed. After Song Chi’s words echoed, no reply ca from the window for several seconds. Finally, a voice, ancient yet calm, drifted out from behind the curtain.

“The position of this object’s main body is extrely high. Three Silver Star Sea Wondrous Objects are required for sacrifice, and even then, there is a significant probability that only a general region may be revealed. Are you sure you wish to proceed?”

Song Chi’s expression froze, and for a mont, he sank into silence.

Three Silver Oddities, and only a vague region could be divined—this forced him to reflect on whether it was worth it.

He didn’t deliberate long before recalling that the [Ti Chessboard] component was likely a Black Supre Oddity, which settled his decision.

However, before retrieving the required artifacts, he tentatively asked another question.

“Master, may I ask how wide the general Star Domain revealed by the divination might be?”

“This has a high degree of uncertainty; it depends on the result of the divination itself!”

Having received this response, Song Chi gritted his teeth and ultimately agreed to proceed.

“Please wait!”

Following the earlier process, he left briefly and, upon return, now held three Silver Star Sea Wondrous Objects, glowing with silver light.

Given that the Ruins Market Oddity Exchange Shop had amassed over forty Silver Oddities, taking out three for this purpose wasn’t too burdenso at the mont.

Once the three Silver Oddities were passed into the window, silence overtook the scene inside once more.

The waiting process was imnsely torturous, especially as this involved an object of extrely high quality and rarity—a ti-related wondrous object.

Beside him, Song Yan said little. Yet upon seeing Song Chi willingly sacrifice three Silver Quality Oddities for the divination, he could only surmise that the endeavor was anything but trivial.

Since Song Chi offered no explanation, Song Yan refrained from pressing him. After all, each component of a Torch Warship represented its greatest secret, not to ntion that this was clearly an exceptionally high-quality part. Even among those of shared lineage, such questions were best avoided.

A full thirty minutes passed before an abrupt, piercing noise erged from the window, startling Song Chi and Song Yan from their quiet anticipation.

“Hm!”

A subdued grunt seed to reach their ears but quickly dissipated, feeling more like an auditory illusion. Soon, the elderly hand returned from within the curtain, extending the [Ti Chess] component back toward them.

“Master…”

Receiving the [Ti Chess], Song Chi was about to request details on the divination’s result.

But before he could say anything, piercing starlight suddenly erupted from the top of the tower. Before Song Chi and Song Yan could react, an intense repelling force enveloped them. The world around them twisted and shifted, and by the ti their senses returned, they found themselves standing outside the [Astrology Tower].

“This…”

Confused, Song Chi glanced down at the [Ti Chess] in his hand, and after a mont, understanding dawned on him.

On the side of the [Ti Chess] component was an unexpected, unique divination star chart.

The star chart recorded an interstellar coordinate along with an inscription.

[Divination Coordinates XXXX… The object’s main body could be anywhere within a 30-billion-light-year spherical radius centered on this coordinate!]

Song Chi furrowed his brow—a spherical range with a radius of 30 billion light-years was more than excessive.

While this represented a considerable narrowing compared to the seemingly boundless Shattered Starry Sea, pinpointing a single [Chessboard] within such a vast expanse still seed insurmountably difficult.

This was, after all, a 30-billion-light-year radius, which covered countless River System Communities.

“Fortunately, I have the [Heavenly Destiny Compass·Disk] component. With its current tracking radius of two billion light-years, I only need to invest more ti—it should still be possible to locate the [Ti Chessboard]!”

Comforting himself, Song Chi turned his attention back to the coordinate designated on the divination star chart, and his expression quickly grew pained again.

Previously, the concern had been about narrowing the range; now, the issue shifted to how to reach that specific coordinate.

The Seventh Rank Astrologer had only provided a coordinate—there was no information about its location or its distance from the Red Star Continent or the Dragon Spine Continent.

What if the coordinate itself lay tens or even hundreds of billions of light-years away from the Dragon Spine Continent? Then figuring out how to travel to that point would be an enormous challenge.

To clarify this point, Song Chi and Song Yan exchanged quick words and sought out a warship docking zone to summon the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong. After completely isolating the warship inside and out, Song Chi used the Ruins Market to return to the Dragon Spine Continent.

At Green Moon Manor, having refrained from bringing the Heavenly Ruins Cang Qiong with him, Song Chi instead used a Quantum Communication Bracelet to reach out to the patriarch.

Song Wujiang responded promptly, and before long, the [Dinghai Dragon Steed] arrived at Green Moon Manor to pick up Song Chi.
