On the rooftop, the moonlight spilled, and like a beautiful canvas, the pale light colored the intense confrontation between the Ghost Masks and the 13th Demon Hunter Squad, creating a tense atmosphere.

The masks of Onryu and the Ghost Twins shone quietly. Their superb design made them seem incredibly lifelike, as though they were actual ghosts.

Seeing their appearances, Akihito felt a chill crawl down his spine, but he maintained a composed look.

He glanced at Mogwai and Jiangshi, warning him to relax.

Ayase was expressionless, showing no fear. She stood by Akihito’s side, observing them with a cold gaze.

Mogwai and Jiangshi were around the sa height as Akihito and Ayase, making the four of them a perfect match.

On the right, Onryo looked at Seiji and Namita, scrutinizing them.

Perhaps all of them understood imdiately, but no words needed to be exchanged.

Namita patted Seiji’s shoulders and imdiately turned around, running downstairs.

"Don’t die." He advised as he left.

Hearing that, Seiji sighed inwardly.

’Of course not.’

Just when Namita had turned around, to everyone’s disbelief, he was already in front of Onryo.

His movents left no sound, and he was more like a ghost than the rest of them.

By the ti a second passed, Seiji had already struck.

Bam!

Using Overti, he increased his speed to sixteen tis.

By the law of motion, each of his attacks generated two-hundred fifty-six tis greater kinetic energy.

Limited by his senses, Onryo suddenly felt a terrible ache in his stomach.

Woosh!

When he regained his senses, he was already flying away.

Onryo of the Ghost Mask, a S-class rogue awakener.

His awakened talent was [Flaming Wolf], speculated by the DHA to be a B-rank shapeshifting talent.

He could transform into a werewolf with flaming fur, granting him imnse physical capabilities and a destructive firepower.

His first appearance caused a massive fire to erupt in a small city, killing countless people and causing a large amount of damage, instantly raising his danger rating to S-class.

Woosh!

Onryo’s body bulged, orange-red fur erging from beneath his clothes. His hands and legs doubled in size, while his nails sharpened, showing a sharp gleam.

While flying in the air, he forcefully dropped his legs, causing a heat wave to spread on the rooftop.

Boom!

His legs caved on the rooftop, barely able to stop him from falling to the ground.

Onryo looked at Seiji quietly.

Woosh!

Seiji imdiately reappeared above him.

Onryo’s eyes widened slightly, throwing himself to the front.

Woosh!

He was barely able to avoid the attack, but before he could even recover, Seiji appeared in front of him.

With his incredible speed that completely defied perception, he was more like a ghost!

His deep, dark eye bags reinforced this point.

Onryo gritted his teeth and imdiately slamd his fist on the ground, causing a massive fla to erupt around him.

Boom!

anwhile, on the far right, Akihito was already exchanging blows with Mogwai and Jiangshi.

Pink and red flowers erged around Ayase, releasing a pleasant pollen that entered both Akihito and Seiji, providing them with support.

Mixed with the pleasant pollen was the crimson pollen, quietly entering the mbers of the Ghost Masks’ bodies. Their spiritual energy slowed down, and they felt a burning sensation erupt inside them, causing their expressions to change.

Under Ayase’s support, the battlefield shifted in an instant.

A few seconds ago, Akihito took out his dice and buffed himself to the maximum.

At first, he stated the wish:

’I wish that I were stronger than everyone on this rooftop.’

But even by limiting the location, his spiritual energy couldn’t support his wish.

Then, he changed it:

’I wish that I were as strong as the two of my opponents combined.’

This ti, it worked.

His spiritual energy could support the wish.

But there was a limit.

The highest he could roll was 4.

Akihito compromised, knowing he was not going to get anything better than that. He imdiately used [Highroll], not risking any chances.

Once the die rolled, fate was decided.

Then, he felt a sudden surge of strength in all aspects, and in under a few seconds, he beca as strong as Mogwai and Jiangshi combined, yet this state could only last for three minutes.

Not wasting any ti, Akihito dashed towards the two of them!

Mogwai and Jiangshi’s pupils dilated, but a wide smile appeared beneath their masks.

Known as the ghost children among the Ghost Masks, their individual rating was A-class.

But combined, they were S-class!

Mogwai’s talent was speculated to be [Red Explosion], given a B-rank estimation. It granted each of his attacks a red hue that detonated upon impact.

Jiangshi’s talent was speculated to be [Silent Scissor], given a B-rank estimation. It allowed her to manifest a colorless scissor capable of cutting through anything in its path.

Soon, Akihito appeared in front of them.

Mogwai and Jiangshi attacked him together, striking from opposite sides.

But as though he couldn’t care less, Akihito didn’t dodge!

Their pupils dilated, but then their eyes widened in disbelief.

Akihito took all their attacks without flinching. Mogwai’s explosions barely made any dent on him, and Jiangshi’s scissors barely left a graze that regenerated instantly.

Then, Akihito smiled slightly.

He raised both of his hands and slamd it to the two of them, causing their masks to crack.

Mogwai and Jiangshi were blown to a distance, their masks falling apart.

At that mont, their faces were fully revealed.

Contrary to Akihito’s expectations, their faces were delicate, as if they were children.

’... No, they are!’

But knowing their identities, he couldn’t hesitate.

Akihito imdiately followed through, dashing to the two of them before they could even recover.

The battlefield on the rooftop was intense, but undoubtedly, the 13th Demon Hunter Squad had the superior advantage in both strength and numbers!

However, below the rooftop, inside the museum...

Absolute silence descended on the museum’s interior.

The entire place was destroyed, and the Otsuma-Shiyezo-Io was gone!

Yurei stared down, looking at the 3rd Demon Hunter Squad, who were halfway to their deaths.

On the ground, Koizu desperately glared at them, her body bleeding all over.

"... Should I kill her?"

Yurei asked casually.

On her left, Shinigami turned his head, seeing Koizu’s appearance.

"No, we’ll consider it as a favor for that person. But you can kill the others."

"You don’t need to tell ."

Yurei shook her head, having already done so.

At that mont, Koizu coughed up blood, her mouth opening.

"You... you’re a Limit Individual!"

"Huh?"

Yurei tilted her head.

"I guess the cat’s out of its bag."

Even though she said that, she wasn’t particularly concerned, making Koizu despair even further.

Two Limit Individuals!

The Ghost Masks weren’t just an SS-class group; they were an SSS-class group!

"Shinigami, are you done? The DHA’s reinforcent is going to arrive at this rate."

Yurei asked impatiently, looking at Shinigami.

"Hmm..."

Shinigami seed to be smiling under his mask. He looked below him, his brows raising in interest.

He raised his head and looked at Yurei, shaking his head.

"Let’s go."

He spoke in a calm tone, walking ahead.

In his hand was Otsuma-Shiyezo-Io, completely unsheathed, showing a sharp gleam.

Yurei quickly followed behind him. But before they left, she looked at where Shinigami was looking at earlier.

’What’s there to look at a dead person?’

On the ground where Shinigami looked, Namita’s body was slumped over. He was unconscious, while his heart... was completely still.
