A thoughtful glint flashed across his eyes.

"I can’t take a Primordial Star Core fragnt that hasn’t bonded with anyone. But once it’s connected to soone... I can take it from them."

Which ant.

The fragnts were protected by so kind of initial binding rule.

But once claid, they beca transferable through killing.

A smile appeared at the corner of his mouth when he realized this.

Looking at the empty spot where Loy had stood monts ago, Zayen shook his head in slight disappointnt.

He had only used roughly fifty percent of his strength in that final strike.

What he hadn’t expected was that the man would be completely obliterated.

Not even a scrap of clothing remained.

Only shattered stone and a faint scorch mark were left behind.

Zayen exhaled lightly.

"What a waste ..."

He had originally planned to leave the body intact.

If the corpse remained, he could have turned it and turned Loy into one of his Redeed Holy Angels.

Another obedient servant.

Another combat unit under his command.

But Sovereign’s execution had been too absolute.

It erased everything in its path.

Thinking of this, Zayen could only shake his head.

He sheathed the Blacksteel Katana with a smooth motion.

Then his figure gradually disappeared into the ancient Primordial God Ruins once more.

anwhile, back at the plaza

Inside a half-collapsed, abandoned building not far from the statue, a tall man holding a greatsword slowly poked his head out.

His face was pale. "Too terrifying..."

His voice still carried lingering fear. Beside him, the slender young man wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, secretly rejoicing.

If he hadn’t seen the private ssage the tall man sent him—right before being blasted away by Zayen’s strike—if he had stayed behind to fight alongside Loy and the scarred man—he glanced toward the distance where the scarred man’s corpse was lying.

He couldn’t help but shudder.

After a mont, confusion appeared on the slender young man’s face.

"Brother... why did you warn only ?"

He hesitated for a breath of a mont before continuing.

"Why did you even tell the others how terrifying that guy was? We’re a team, aren’t we? Why didn’t we fight together?"

The tall man rolled his eyes and let out a dry snort. "Can being in the sa team be more important than my life?"

He leaned back against the cracked wall, gripping his greatsword tightly. "Besides, I know exactly what kind of people those two were."

His gaze turned cold. "They would’ve used as a shield the mont things went wrong."

The slender young man fell silent.

"It’s a pity they were killed like that..." he muttered, shaking his head regretfully.

The tall man suddenly looked at the slender young man seriously. "You all rember that guy just now."

The slender young man nodded.

The tall man said solemnly, "If you encounter him again, rember, you must not have any conflict with this person!"

"Understood!" The slender young man nodded his head again.

The tall man said no more, secretly rejoicing as he looked in the direction Zayen and Lot had taken.

Fortunately, his innate talent skill had given him a danger warning at the last mont.

One of his innate talent skills was called [Danger Sensor].

A C-grade talent.

As the na suggested, it granted him a subtle warning whenever he was about to encounter danger—or, occasionally, fortune.

It wasn’t a combat skill.

It didn’t increase his strength.

But more than once, it had saved his life.

The mont he saw Zayen, he felt a great danger warning. The warning exploded in his mind violently, which made his scalp go numb.

He imdiately sent a private ssage to the slender young man while pretending to be furious at being ignored, intentionally letting Zayen’s strike send him flying far away.

His body shuddered just thinking about it. He would have been erased like the scarred man.

Not even his ashes will be left behind.

The tall man took a deep breath and suppressed the lingering fear in his heart.

"This place isn’t safe to stay for long."

He tightened his grip on his greatsword. "Let’s go."

Without waiting, he turned and quickly left through the rear of the abandoned building.

The slender young man followed closely behind.

Soon, the two figures disappeared into the ruins, leaving the shattered plaza completely silent once more.

....

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Less than five breaths after they left, two new figures arrived one after the other. "What amazing energy fluctuations!"

Feeling the residual energy in the air, a burly man

with sharp features exclaid, "A battle must have taken place here just now."

"Hmm... there’s a corpse over here." The middle-aged man beside him, who had short black hair, turned pale when he saw the wound on the scarred man’s chest.

It was a single, devastating slash. The burly man’s expression grew solemn as well. He quickly opened the system map and checked it. When he saw that Zayen had already moved so distance away, he quietly breathed a sigh of relief before speaking. "Let’s first see if anything was left behind."

The middle-aged man nodded.

They had originally co hoping to try their luck and obtain the Primordial Star Core fragnt.

But after seeing the corpse and that horrifying wound, all other thoughts vanished from their minds.

After searching the area and finding nothing of value, the two were about to leave when the burly man suddenly stopped.

"Wait! Why do I feel soone rapidly approaching?!" he exclaid.

"Don’t say it! I feel it too!" the middle-aged man replied in shock.

"But that’s not right! How could soone be approaching this fast?! Even with our level and strength, we can’t move this quickly!"

Just as they were filled with doubt—

A blazing figure suddenly appeared behind them.

In the blink of an eye, it swept past them and continued flying deeper into the ruins.

Its speed was like a teor streaking across the sky.

"Uh..."

Both n froze, montarily forgetting why they were even here. Only when the scorching heat burned their skin did they finally react, hurriedly defending against the flas.

After using several thods, they barely managed to stabilize themselves. When they finally caught their breath, they looked at each other.

For a mont, neither spoke.

"What... was that just now?" the middle-aged man asked.

"It looked like a person on fire!"

"It was definitely a person!" the burly man replied.

"I couldn’t see his face clearly. He was too fast!"

The two exclaid repeatedly.

One had to know—

They had just reached Level 7. They were considered powerful players. Yet even with their strength, they could not move at such terrifying speed.

But that person had streaked past them at full speed, the flas on his body even burning them severely.

"Could it be one of the top existences?" the middle-aged man asked.

"Impossible," the burly man shook his head.

"No matter how strong soone is, it’s impossible to reach that level. ..."

He paused before continuing.

"Unless it’s a player above Level 10."

"But reaching Level 10 in just three days is impossible."

His expression grew serious. Unless ..."

"It was one of the Apostles chosen by the Celestial Beings."

"An Apostle?" the middle-aged man frowned. "Haven’t all the Apostles gone to the deepest part of the ruins to search for the Primordial Star Core Fragnt?"

"Why would one return here?"

The two discussed intensely for a while, their shock undiminished.

While the two were discussing so intensely, Zayen continued to follow the pulling sensation into the deeper part of the ruins at an extrely fast speed.

His expression was calm as he moved forward, following the pulling sensation and observing the situation inside.

"Where have all the players gone? I can’t find a single player here..."

Coming all the way from the plaza, Zayen had already searched through many buildings.

Yet... he found nothing.

Not a single special item.

Not even a trace of treasure.

What made him even more disappointed was that no one had tried to rob him along the way.

He hadn’t even seen a single player.

It seed the players had already scattered across different areas of the ruins, each searching for their own opportunities.

Zayen let out a quiet sigh.

He could easily find a Star Core Fragnt.

But the problem was...

He couldn’t find anyone to retrieve it for him.

Zayen shook his head and didn’t dwell on it any longer. Following the faint pulling sensation, he imdiately moved toward the location of the next Primordial Star Core Fragnt.

This ti, the distance was relatively close.

With the help of [Voidbound Flash Step], his figure flickered rapidly through the ruins.

Before long, a tall tower appeared in his line of sight.

Crack!

However, just as he spotted it in the distance, the tower suddenly shattered before his eyes.

Zayen froze for a mont.

He quickly refocused his gaze and saw a burly man standing before the collapsing tower, a massive hamr gripped firmly in his hand.

"It really works!"

The burly man’s eyes were filled with pleasant surprise. With a thought, the system map appeared before him.

However, the mont his gaze landed on one of the coordinate points on the map, his expression suddenly changed, but a mont later, a loud laugh burst from his mouth.

"Hahaha!"

With a thought, he closed the system interface and swept his gaze across the surrounding ruins.

His sharp eyes seed to search every shadow.

"If you’re already here, why are you still hiding?" he said in a deep voice, gripping his hamr tightly, "

"I’m exposed?"

Zayen was taken aback.

Well, his coordinates had always been exposed, but why was this guy laughing like a madman?

Shaking his head slightly, Zayen’s figure gradually erged from the shadows.
