When the clock struck five in the afternoon, under the gazes of countless awestruck, panicked, and curious eyes, a Starship of unimaginable size—one that blotted out their entire field of vision, its edges stretching beyond sight—slowly erged before them through a newly constructed spatial channel.
The Starship appeared before the countless officials and generals, its surface shimring with a mysterious, faint light. Its streamlined design possessed a unique aesthetic. At first glance, its luxurious adornnts made it resemble a mobile palace. However, the massive cannon muzzles on its hull were a silent declaration that it possessed formidable capabilities for War, far beyond any residential purpose.
The Starship had not revealed its full size; it had used top-tier space-folding technology to shrink its visible profile upon exiting the spatial channel. Even so, the visible portion was so imnse that gazing upon it felt like an ant looking up at sothing millions of tis its size. The sight alone was utterly intimidating.
"My God... this is... this is a Marshal-class Starship!"
The vessel was so colossal that the port director, Wei Xuan, didn’t recognize its class at first glance. But upon seeing the unique insignia on its hull, he instantly knew. This was the exclusive vessel of a Powerful Divine Being.
His heart pounded and his legs went weak at the re sight; he could barely remain standing. He finally understood what kind of monuntal figure had arrived to warrant such a massive mobilization and require the Blue Star Federation’s military to issue a direct First Level military lockdown.
So it’s a Powerful Divine Being! This wasn’t just so big shot in the usual sense; this was the very linchpin of the entire Blue Star Federation. A true titan who stood above trillions of souls. The kind whose na alone was enough to make the children of their enemies stop crying, the kind whose very shadow could send enemy forces scattering in terror. They could exist without the Blue Star Federation, but the Blue Star Federation could not exist without them.
For such a monuntal figure to arrive in Golden City so suddenly and unannounced... what could their purpose possibly be?
As his thoughts ventured further, Wei Xuan, the port’s nominal director, dared not imagine the possibilities.
The Starship docked securely at Golden City Port, in an exclusive berth that had been specially cleared for it. Countless Defense Arrays activated. Innurable military units kept a vigilant watch. For a mont, a dead silence fell over the entire port, both inside and out.
Amidst the silent anticipation, the massive Starship doors finally slid open, and a hovering ramp extended downward. A security detail clad in black was the first to descend, followed by Adjutant Qin Rui, a man with two stars on his shoulder and a crisp, capable air. He stood at the Starship’s entrance, his piercing gaze rapidly sweeping the area below to check for security issues.
After a final scan of the waiting generals and leaders below, Qin Rui gave a slight nod, stepped aside, and gave a slight bow.
Then, as all eyes watched, a general erged. He was draped in an ink-black greatcoat, appeared older, and possessed a commanding presence that inspired awe without a hint of anger. It was Zhang Yi’s grandfather, Zhang Shumo. His features were stern and resolute, his gaze profound.
The mont he appeared, just by standing there, he seed to beco the very center of the world. Even though the suppressive effects of Blue Star theoretically prevented him from unleashing his full power, the entire port—and even the surrounding region and the very Space itself—seed to bow in deference to him.
Zhang Shumo’s eyes swept over the welcoming party, and he raised a hand in greeting.
"Have Zengyuan and Miaozhen arrived?" Zhang Shumo asked, his voice calm yet carrying an indescribable weight and authority.
"Marshal, after receiving your notice, the General and his wife have been waiting for you on the other side of the port," Qin Rui replied respectfully.
"Mm. Have them get in the vehicle. We’re going ho."
Zhang Shumo gave a slight nod, then descended the hovering ramp. The leaders and generals present were so overwheld by his intimidating presence that they instinctively lowered their heads in a gesture of profound respect.
Guided by Adjutant Qin Rui, they proceeded down a cleared passageway according to the port’s reception plan and soon t with Zhang Yi’s father, Zhang Zengyuan, and his mother, Hu Miaozhen.
Once the motorcade had vanished from the port, the intense pressure that had been blanketing the entire area began to dissipate, and the stifling atmosphere that had frozen the port gradually lifted. Wei Xuan let out a long sigh of relief, as did many others around him.
Although the entire reception had gone off without a hitch, the port’s First Level military lockdown was not imdiately lifted. It was only after confirmation arrived that the Powerful Divine Being, who stood at the absolute pinnacle of power in the Blue Star Federation, had finally reached ho that the military lockdown of the port was gradually lifted.
Watching the motorcade depart and the military lockdown gradually ease, Wei Xuan spotted his superior in the crowd and couldn’t resist asking the question on his mind. "Aren’t all Divine Beings supposed to have their power suppressed on Blue Star’s Main Star? Then how was the re aura of the Powerful Divine Being we just saw enough to make tremble so much that I could barely stand?"
