Chapter 19: Chapter 19: The Baseline Test Ends, Rewards Awarded!

In Zhang Yi’s Divine Realm, just as the Wood Elves had begun their guerrilla warfare against the goblin army,

The horoom teacher, Guo Aiqing, and the proctor, Baihua Bridge, had already arrived outside the Divine Realms of the other students in the class.

In a Divine Realm with terrain very similar to Zhang Yi’s,

Within a humid, tropical rainforest,

A dense horde of Kobolds was charging into the rainforest.

Inside the rainforest, quite a few Lizardn had already been severely injured.

Facing the Kobolds flooding into the rainforest, the Green-skinned Lizardn had no choice but to fight while retreating.

The Green-skinned Lizardn at the front, responsible for blocking the Kobold army, did their best to hold them back, but their numbers were simply too small.

If not for the fact that the Kobolds disliked the overly humid air of the tropical rainforest, their assault would have been even faster!

’Dammit!’

’What a bunch of worthless trash!’

’Why did I have to awaken a Clan like the Green-skinned Lizardn when I first awakened my Divine Realm?’

’This is infuriating!’

In the sa class as Zhang Yi, Li Boyang’s Divine Realm was under attack by Kobolds.

The Green-skinned Lizardn were heavily outnumbered by the massive Kobold army.

If they hadn’t held the geographical advantage, they never would have been able to hold out this long.

There was still an hour and a half until the end of the battle.

However, five percent of the Clan in Li Boyang’s Divine Realm had already been killed.

If this continued, the number of dead Clan mbers would reach ten percent, and the placent test would be forcibly ended.

Left with no choice, in order to preserve his Clan’s numbers, Li Boyang had to issue an Oracle commanding all the Green-skinned Lizardn to retreat as quickly as possible.

Once the old, weak, young, and infirm Lizardn in the rear had finished retreating, the Green-skinned Lizardn holding the front line could pull back as well.

And so, fighting while fleeing, the three-hour placent test finally ca to an end.

When ti ran out and all the attacking Kobolds vanished, Li Boyang let out a long sigh of relief!

In Li Boyang’s Divine Realm, the number of dead Clan mbers reached nine percent.

He had co just shy of failing the placent test.

"What a sha about this student!"

"His Divine Realm’s initial terrain was a tropical rainforest, and his Initial Clan was the Green-skinned Lizardn.

Perfect geographical advantage, plus an Initial Clan with good potential like the Green-skinned Lizardn.

Even if he couldn’t repel the Kobolds, who prefer dry climates, he should have at least managed a draw!"

"But I never expected him to end up in a full retreat!"

"Just like that, his entire Clan was nearly crushed, pushed to the brink of collapse.

This student’s practical skills are truly lacking!"

"In a similar situation, the first candidate we observed, Zhang Yi, perford much better than him!"

"The main Wood Elf army gathered on the battlefield, while the old, weak, sick, and disabled Wood Elves hid deep within the forest.

They weren’t causing trouble for the front lines, which reduced pressure on the rear.

This greatly lightened their burden and made perfect use of the terrain!"

Seeing this student play such a good hand so poorly right before his eyes, the proctor, Baihua Bridge, couldn’t help but comnt.

"It really is a bit of a sha!" The horoom teacher, Guo Aiqing, also sighed as she watched Li Boyang’s performance.

"While the test isn’t over yet, let’s go check on the other students’ performance."

"Alright!"

With that, the two consciousnesses vanished in an instant.

...

Because this was a placent test, and because the school set a death threshold,

most students were able to pass it.

After all, the school’s goal was to cultivate its students and get a clear picture of how well they had nurtured their Clans in the few short days since opening their Divine Realms,

not to exhaust their future potential.

At eleven in the morning, the placent test for all candidates ended simultaneously.

At eleven-thirty, all the students’ consciousnesses returned as they withdrew from their Divine Realms.

The school had allotted half an hour for the students to handle the aftermath within their Divine Realms.

When all the students had withdrawn from their Divine Realms and their consciousnesses returned to the classroom,

The horoom teacher, Guo Aiqing, and the proctor, Baihua Bridge, were already standing at the podium!

Since the exam had just ended, the students who had just left their Divine Realms couldn’t help but start chatting with friends they recognized.

Faced with this situation, the horoom teacher uttered a single word: "Quiet."

Instantly, the entire class fell silent.

This was a "small" bit of power the horoom teacher possessed within the school’s Subspace!

"This was the class placent test, and the results are in!"

"So of our classmates perford very well, while others perford very poorly.

I won’t elaborate on that here!"

"Your shortcomings in this test, the areas you need to improve, have all been noted by myself and the proctor!"

"In the coming days, now that you know the weaknesses of your Divine Realms, you should work even harder to shore up your shortcomings!"

"Don’t think that just because you have so connections, you can slack off in theory class.

And don’t get complacent just because you did reasonably well on this test!"

"Rember, the placent test at the end of next month will be the real trial!"

The horoom teacher’s voice was loud, and her words were worth reflecting on.

So students who had done fairly well on the placent test had started to feel a bit of pride,

but hearing the teacher’s words and being reminded of the test at the end of next month,

they sobered up instantly.

Not a trace of their arrogance remained.

Seeing the expressions on her students’ faces change, the horoom teacher, Guo Aiqing, knew that so of them had taken her words to heart.

At this point, the proctor, Baihua Bridge, seeing that he was no longer needed, left the classroom.

"Next, as I said before, I will begin distributing the rewards for this placent test!"

"As for each student’s score on this placent test, you can gauge your own ranking in the class by the order in which you’re called up to the stage!"

"Of course, to build so anticipation, we’ll start from 40th place!"

"Students ranked 40th to 21st, when I call your na, please co up to the stage in order to receive your corresponding reward!"

"Fu Chenxi, Jiang Huahao, Wei Xidong..."

"You each get one One-Star Resource Card. Take them!"

The students whose nas were called by the horoom teacher were clearly unhappy,

but there was nothing they could do but go on stage and take their One-Star Resource Cards.

"Next, 20th to 11th place: Chen Huawei, Fang Kangxin, ng Hetang..."

"You each get one Two-Stars Resource Card. Take them!"

The second group of students called had slightly better expressions than the first, but not by much.

"Next up are the top ten students in the class. You can all look forward to this!"

Horoom teacher Guo Aiqing said this with a smile,

and at this, the students who hadn’t been called yet all broke into excited grins.

This went without saying for Zhang Yi and Sima Yuan.

Even Li Boyang, who had thought he’d done poorly and would only rank sowhere in the teens,

was now smiling excitedly.

Even Hong Tianyi, who was usually a loner in the classroom, had a faint smile on his face!
