With a re thought, Chen Mo cast the Divine Flicker as guided by The Heavenly Path’s Hint and arrived at the Alchemy Tower within the second region of the World of Heavenly Elent.
The Alchemy Tower appeared as a peculiar tower, so tall that its top couldn’t be seen at a single glance. Its body was constructed from yellowish-brown stones, though the exact material was unknown.
Chen Mo glanced at the structure towering into the clouds and slowly walked towards the entrance on the Alchemy Tower’s first floor.
At this ti, people were constantly coming and going near the Alchemy Tower. Many local inhabitants were seen entering and exiting the premises.
According to The Heavenly Path’s Hint, the Alchemy Tower was a significant building in the second region. It sold dicinal pills of all kinds of efficacies, a place where various factions could find what they needed. Naturally, it attracted a considerable number of visitors.

Compared to the reactions of people in the first region of the World of Heavenly Elent upon seeing him, those in this second region seed to possess a greater sense of crisis.
This was also due to the differing probabilities of facing attacks in different regions.
Once the number of Beastly Intelligent Life factions that had entered the World of Heavenly Elent reached 100, Combat Mode would activate. At that point, mbers from both sides could enter the opposing faction’s territory to engage in hostilities.

For instance, given Chen Mo’s current Divine Power Strength, if he were to charge into the first region of the World of Heavenly Elent—the domain of the Beastly Intelligent Life—his Divine Power would be suppressed to that first region’s maximum cap. However, the Divine Power of the Beastly Intelligent Life within their own first region of the World of Heavenly Elent would not be suppressed. Therefore, if one intended to leverage superior strength to overwhelm those in weaker regions, they might be the one to suffer in the end.
The sa applied in reverse. If a Beastly Intelligent Life expert, possessing Divine Power in the hundreds of thousands, attempted to cause chaos in the first region of the World of Heavenly Elent belonging to the Human Intelligent Life faction, their Divine Power would also be suppressed to that first region’s maximum Divine Power Strength. anwhile, for the Human Intelligent Life faction, the Divine Power of their mbers within their own territory was not suppressed. If an opponent dared such an act, they had to be prepared to be overwheld. An individual with Divine Power in the hundreds of thousands could venture here only to potentially be overpowered by soone with rely a few thousand Divine Power. That outco would be far from agreeable.
In the first region of the World of Heavenly Elent, the maximum Divine Power an individual from the Alien Races can exert is only 5,000 points. This is one of the reasons why low-level regions are less likely to be invaded. No expert would willingly co to such a place, accept a reduction in their strength, and invite hardship upon themselves.
Of course, while the Divine Power of individuals within their own race’s territory isn’t suppressed, facing an invasion from other groups is still not a comfortable prospect. This is because Destiny Holders who invade the territories of other races do not truly die, even if they are killed. At most, they only lose a small amount of Divine Power. However, during an invasion, if mbers of the native race are killed, they die permanently. Furthermore, an invader who successfully kills a significant target might find their gains outweighing their losses. This assus, of course, that the invader’s original Divine Power isn’t particularly high. After all, the Divine Power lost upon being killed in another race’s territory is calculated as a percentage of one’s current basic divine power.
For example, consider a Beastly Intelligent Life unit with 5,000 Divine Power entering the first region belonging to the Human Intelligent Life faction. If killed by a mber of the Human Intelligent Life faction, it would lose one percent of its Divine Power, amounting to 50 points. But if it managed to kill a mber of the Human Intelligent Life faction within their territory, it could gain a substantial amount of Divine Power.
However, this kind of exchange cannot continue indefinitely. This is because upon being killed, the ’Defeated Weak BUFF’ is applied. This BUFF cannot be dispelled, nor can one be immune to it. Once active, it lasts for one official day (sixty hours). During this period, each death adds another stack to this BUFF. And with each additional stack, the Divine Power lost upon death increases by a further 1%.
Therefore, even though being killed in another race’s territory doesn’t result in true death, one cannot continuously go there to harass them. Otherwise, if one is killed too many tis before the Defeated Weak BUFF expires, their losses will far exceed any gains.
This too is a form of balance implented by the Heavenly Dao. It ensures both a degree of antagonism and inherent risk.
