"Flying Equipnt!"
After seeing the effects of these boots, Chen Mo couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitent.
Flying was a privilege typically enjoyed only after the second-transition. To fly before the second-transition, one would need equipnt that granted the ability of flight. Such equipnt was exceedingly rare; one might not be found for several years. He hadn’t expected to get one from a Gift Pack.
Moreover, as Dark Gold Equipnt, the attribute boosts were quite good. With a 200% increase in movent speed and a 50% dodge rate, both his escape and survival capabilities improved significantly.
In addition, the Illusory Spirit Feather Boots possessed an extrely valuable special effect—Illusion.
According to the description of the Illusion effect, corresponding illusionary masks were sold on the market. Even a C-Class illusion mask cost as much as one million. B-Class masks cost ten million, A-Class ones over a hundred million, and SS level items could even reach ten billion.
This item was so expensive mainly for three reasons. First, its rarity was high, and its production was too low. Second, its durability was low, making it easily damaged. Third, demand was high, and supply could not keep up.
The primary users fell into these categories:
Those who preferred not to reveal their wealth.
Those who needed a disguise because so activities were inappropriate to undertake with their true identity. Red-nad individuals, in particular, desperately needed this item. Once they wore this kind of equipnt, unless soone possessed a higher level of illusion detection to see through their disguise, their red nas were simply unnoticeable.
Moreover, Aliens were also a major consur group for this equipnt.
With such a stable consur base, low production, and low durability, how could the price not skyrocket?
In other words, if Chen Mo’s boots weren’t bound, the Illusion effect alone, even without any other attributes or special effects, would be worth ten billion. This truly demonstrated the value of these boots.
However, Chen Mo wasn’t particularly concerned with the Illusion effect; he was more interested in the flying ability. He had always been envious whenever he saw experts flying freely in the sky. Now, he finally possessed this ability. For a mont, he was eager to try it out.
After examining the equipnt, he imdiately put on the boots.
As he did so, Chen Mo felt he had mysteriously gained two special abilities. With a re thought, he could change his appearance, and simultaneously, his body slowly lifted off the ground.
So this is what it feels like to fly? It’s too wonderful!
Chen Mo felt as if he were enveloped in cotton, everything around him soft and fluffy, his entire body light as a feather.
When Sister Yiyi cos back, I’ll let her experience it too, Chen Mo thought with a smile, landing back on the ground. He walked to the bathroom mirror and looked at his transford appearance. Am I too handso? Too easy to rember. I should make myself a little uglier.
This looks about right. When I’m disguised like this, I’ll go by the na Yan Zu.
Speaking of disguises, a mischievous thought struck Chen Mo. He tried changing his face to resemble his classmates. Each transformation, pairing a classmate’s face with his own body, had a distinctly different feel.
After cycling through several appearances, he suddenly wanted to try looking like a girl. He subconsciously transford into Shen Bingbing’s likeness and found it surprisingly good.
I didn’t realize Bingbing would look so heroic in n’s clothes.
Speaking of looking like a girl, could I just transform into a woman, complete with won’s clothes, and go out? That would make it even harder for my true identity to be discovered, wouldn’t it?
With this interesting thought, Chen Mo imdiately tried it. As he transford into a familiar female appearance and attire, it was perfectly replicated.
However, when he transford into Su Tianxin, Chen Mo discovered a flaw. The difference in chest size between his transford Su Tianxin and the original was like heaven and earth.
It seems changing body type significantly is difficult. Chen Mo had anticipated this. If he could change his body type at will, he could transform into a giant dragon and scare people to death.
After confirming the limits of the Illusion’s transformation, Chen Mo returned to his original form.
Although this SS level equipnt didn’t enhance his offensive capabilities, Chen Mo was still very pleased with its attribute effects.
Returning to his room, Chen Mo took out the main prize from his Harvest: an SSS-level Gift Pack!
I wonder if this one also requires a choice to open, Chen Mo thought. He imdiately tried to open it.
As expected, The Heavenly Path’s Hint imdiately popped up. For a treasure of this level, Chen Mo had no intention of selling it; he chose to bind and open it directly. He only hoped to get a good item that could boost his damage output.
As Chen Mo silently made his choice, The Heavenly Path’s Hint sounded again.
[The Heavenly Path’s Hint: You have successfully opened the SSS-level Gift Pack. Congratulations on acquiring the Artifact Level equipnt, the Ring of Death!]
[Ring of Death · Artifact Level]
[Profession Restriction]: None
[Equipnt Requirent]: None
[Equipnt Attributes]: Immunity to Instant Kill Attacks, immunity to execution effects, immunity to all adverse effects of the dark elent.
Instant Kill Attacks are typically special offensive abilities with long cooldowns and low success rates. However, a successful hit can instantly kill the opponent. Even an unsuccessful attempt will inflict disgusting curse effects on the target. It’s an extrely potent type of attack. However, the instant kill aspect is largely useless against BOSS-grade units, as all BOSS-grade units are immune to Instant Kill. This type of attack and resurrection share the sa set of cooldown rules, aning they don’t benefit from any cooldown reduction.
Execution attacks, on the other hand, generally kill a target instantly once its health falls below a specific percentage or absolute value. They are sowhat similar to Instant Kill Attacks, but as long as the conditions are t, the success rate is virtually 100%.
Both are extrely terrifying killing thods, often making them impossible to guard against. Having immunity to these two effects ant he wouldn’t have to worry too much about being ambushed by such abilities in the future.
[Equipnt Special Effects]: Death God’s Arrival, Death Imprisonnt, Resurrection of the Dead
[Death God’s Arrival]: Chant for 3 seconds to summon a Death God’s phantom to possess the target. There’s a 1% chance to instantly kill the opponent. If the instant kill fails, the target is permanently afflicted by the Death God’s Curse until death. Cooldown: 24 hours (Cooldown is not affected by any reduction effects).
If the caster is attacked during the chant or the Death God’s phantom is dodged by the opponent, the cast is considered invalid, and 99% of the Cooldown is refunded.
[Death God’s Curse]: The cursed unit’s All Attributes (excluding life value) decrease by 50%, and all damage taken is doubled.
The curse is a very special debuff. Once afflicted, the target is permanently affected. However, one can seek help from individuals with curse-removing abilities to dispel it. Corresponding potions, such as Dispel Curse Holy Water or similar items, can also be used to remove it.
The Ring of Death truly lived up to its status as god-grade equipnt; its first Equipnt Special Effect alone was enough to astound Chen Mo. This was an instant kill Skill, already an incredibly potent ability. Yet, on top of that, it could inflict such a powerful curse—truly heaven-defying.
