Kana woke with a start, her vision blurring as she blinked against the soft golden light filtering through sheer curtains.
Her breath ca uneven at first, her body heavy and sluggish, as though she had been plunged into deep water and pulled back out again.
It took a few monts before her surroundings finally sank in. This wasn’t the temple and she was no longer naked.
The ornate wooden ceiling above her belonged to the resort, the scent of saltwater drifting faintly through the air.
She slowly sat up, finding herself in one of the luxurious guest rooms.
The soft linen sheets tangled around her legs, and as she glanced down at herself, Kana realized sothing unsettling—there wasn’t a single trace left of what had happened at the temple.
Her clothes had been changed, her body cleaned, and not a single bruise, mark, or speck of dust remained.
Moreover, there was no indication that she had sex with anyone.
’Who changed ? I hope they don’t talk too much about it...’
For a mont, she wondered if she had dread it all, but then reality ca crashing in as she moved.
Her pussy felt a little sour, indicating that sothing had happened for sure.
But before her mind could spiral further, the door opened with a soft creak, and Emma stepped inside, followed by another priestess Kana didn’t recognize.
Emma looked calr than usual, her expression careful and polite, though her fidgeting fingers betrayed lingering unease.
As soon as Emma’s eyes t Kana’s, she looked away. She likely felt as shy as Kana felt at the mont.
"You’re awake. How are you feeling? Please let know if you need anything else."
Emma said softly, approaching the bed. She still looked shy, but she was doing better at adapting to it than Kana.
Kana’s throat felt dry, but she managed to croak out.
"What... happened to the ritual? Did we end up completing it?"
Emma hesitated for a beat before lowering herself into the chair beside the bed.
"The ritual was completed. High Priestess Lumine carried it out herself... and then returned ho."
She said, her tone even but strangely hollow.
Kana blinked, surprise flickering in her eyes, but deep down, so part of her wasn’t shocked at all.
Sohow, this felt... expected.
The other priestess, who had been quiet until now, stepped forward. She held out a delicately folded letter, sealed with shimring wax that glimred faintly under the light.
"High Priestess Lumine instructed to give you this. She also said... to open it only when you’re alone. There’s a spell woven into it."
She said softly.
Kana accepted the letter, her fingers brushing against the smooth seal. Sothing in her chest twisted uncomfortably, but she nodded silently.
Emma gave her a small, hesitant smile before rising to her feet.
"Rest for now, Kana. You’ve... been through a lot. And once you’re ready, co and find . I will give you a V.I.P. pass for the resort so that you can go anywhere you want to,""
Without another word, the two won turned and quietly left the room, closing the door behind them.
For a mont, Kana simply sat there in silence, staring at the letter resting in her palm. Her mind felt hazy, but her gut told her that whatever was inside wasn’t going to be simple.
After locking the door, she finally broke the wax seal and unfolded the delicate parchnt.
A soft pulse of magic rippled through the air, and Kana’s breath caught when a small projection of High Priestess Lumine appeared before her, flickering faintly like moonlight on water.
Lumine’s expression was serene as ever, her voice warm but laced with sothing unreadable.
"Kana, thank you for being my specin for this little experint. Because of you, I was not so bored while I was at that resort."
The projection said gently.
Kana froze, her grip on the letter tightening as Lumine’s calm words washed over her.
"In the end, I never actually needed your help... nor Emma’s. But—"
The high priestess continued with a soft, almost amused smile, her lips curved slightly higher,
"---I’m glad you both ca along. You made the journey... fun. I was also pent up, so that helped out a lot."
Kana felt a little angry and she tried to hurt the small figure in front of her. But as it was only a projection made by magic, Kana’s hands just passed through it.
"Anyway, I will likely see you soon because I want to have even more fun with you. I hope you will wait around for ."
The projection faded, leaving only silence behind. There was one last sentence it managed to say to Kana.
"Don’t have too much fun without ~"
Kana stared at the spot where Lumine’s image had been, a mixture of disbelief and irritation swirling inside her.
Her first instinct was to get angry, to throw the letter across the room, to scream into the pillows until her voice broke. She should be furious.
But instead, Kana just let out a shaky laugh, pressing a hand over her face.
Because, deep down... she couldn’t deny it.
She’d had fun too. And she had expected things to get sexual ever since she signed that contract.
Moreover, as much as she would like to deny it, a part of her had been hoping to do what happened anyway.
This might all have been a ss, but it was a ss Kana made herself.
And that realization unsettled her more than anything else.
Kana sank back into the pillows, staring blankly at the ceiling as conflicting emotions tangled inside her.
Frustration simred under her skin, but alongside it was an undeniable thrill she couldn’t shake off. The mories—no matter how hazy—still made her heart race.
She groaned softly, covering her face with both hands.
"What the hell is wrong with ..."
She whispered to herself.
The letter lay beside her on the bed, its soft parchnt catching the dim light. Kana glanced at it once more, her chest tightening.
High Priestess Lumine had used her... and yet, sohow, she didn’t regret it.
