Cecilia had just finished her bath and was about to enjoy a good night’s sleep when her phone rang repeatedly, with the call ringing and ending multiple tis.

She impatiently answered the call, and a cheerful female voice ca through.

"Little Cece, I have great news!"

...

Cecilia glanced at her phone, where "Niki" was prominently displayed. This woman didn’t usually call her unless...

"Did you succeed in your fangirling? Congratulations..."

Indeed, not only was this woman nad Niki a top-tier global Taekwondo expert, but she was also a seasoned hobody who fangirled over virtual celebrities. The last ti Cecilia saw her this excited was when her favorite ani character’s rchandise had been released. On that day, Niki had left her house for the first ti in half a month to have a al with her, and throughout the al, Cecilia had listened to her talk excitedly about her thrill.

Just as Cecilia was about to hang up the phone, the doorbell suddenly rang. She frowned as she reluctantly went to open the door, only to see Niki’s excited face.

She was also doing her signature heart-shaped hand gesture.

"Surprise! Did you miss , Little Cece?!"

Without waiting for Cecilia’s stunned reaction, she walked right into the room.

"Where’s Little Emma? Let Auntie Niki give her a big kiss~"

Cecilia snapped back to reality, closing the door before walking into the room.

"She’s at school right now. Anyways, how did you know I was staying at this hotel?"

Cecilia knew Niki was in the country to take the role as a judge over a provincial competition, but she had never expected to find her like this.

Niki smiled and replied, "Emma told a few days ago and said soone was bullying you two, so I rushed back."

Cecilia understood now; Emma must have said that just so she could see Niki sooner. After all, Niki indeed loved Emma, so she rushed over imdiately.

"By the way, who was picking a fight with you? Let ..."

As the two were discussing this, the doorbell rang again. Since Niki was closer to the door, she opened it, revealing an excited Emma and a stunned Diana beside her.

Diana looked at Niki and rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

"Emma, what did you just call her?"

"Auntie Niki."

"The sa Niki who won the Grand Slam in international Taekwondo competitions and can kick an entire car out?"

Emma nodded, and Diana’s eyes widened even more.

On the other hand, Niki smiled and greeted Diana.

After a while, Diana found herself sitting on the hotel sofa, recounting everything she rembered that happened in the kindergarten to Cecilia. Of course, she skipped the part where she and the teacher pitied Cecilia. With Niki around and Cecilia’s skills, there was no need to pity her at all here.

Cecilia only responded with a mild "Oh" after hearing it. She knew Emma wouldn’t suffer losses, so she wasn’t worried. However, Niki was visibly angered.

"How outrageous! Cece, tomorrow I’ll pick up Emma from school. I’ll see who dares bully her!"

Cecilia nodded quickly.

It was a relief that she would not have to make the trip herself.

As Diana observed Cecilia’s calm deanor and her close relationship with Niki, a quiet awe settled over her. Admiration swelled within her chest, and she made a secret vow to one day beco soone like her cousin.

In the evening after dinner, Diana drove back ho, while Niki rented a room next door to Cecilia’s.

That night, she coaxed Emma into staying in her room. Cecilia turned a blind eye, rely advising her not to stay up too late, lest they end up late for school the next day.

Just as she had expected, they overslept.

As Emma yawned continuously, Cecilia hurriedly rushed her to school.

After coming back, Niki noticed Cecilia’s dark look. She assured her that she would pick Emma up in the afternoon without any delay.

By four in the afternoon, Niki was already waiting at the school gate.

Though Emma wasn’t going to be dismissed until five, since she had extra free ti, she went into the school as Emma’s guardian. There, she saw Emma being surrounded by both Kenny and John.

Kenny, with his head held high and nose pointed up toward her, arrogantly declared, "Liar! Your mom didn’t bring anyone to prove anything. You’re nothing but a liar!"

John also joined in the ridicule, "Like mother, like child. A mother who brags also raises a child who brags; it’s truly shaful!"

"Exactly, my dad says liars must face punishnt. How about this—you are not allowed to leave school today. You will stand in the classroom until I say you can go!"
