Chapter 117
During dinner, everyone noticed that the usually expressionless Steven was smiling one mont and frowning the next. They really couldn’t figure out what he was thinking.
Ethan gave Alex a aningful glance.
‘Kid! Has your dad been possessed by so sort of ghost?’’
Alex gave a knowing look in response.
‘Don’t worry, just ask Dr. Kent to prescribe him so dicine later.’
After that, he took a sip of the French mushroom soup, thinking that Emma would surely love it. He decided to have her try it next ti.
Ethan pursed his lips.
This boy was only gentle with his sister and mom. To everyone else, he was just as icy and sharp-tongued as Steven. In so ways, they were practically carved from the sa mold.
One was a daughter fanatic, and the other a sister fanatic. He couldn’t imagine how much these two cold-faced kings would beam if Emma were here.
Thinking about it, he couldn’t help but laugh out loud, successfully attracting Steven’s attention.
"Are you laughing at ?"
Steven’s cold voice rang out, and Ethan hurriedly covered his mouth.

Ethan quickly shook his head.
"No, no, I’m just happy that you have a daughter..."
Steven leisurely cut his steak, suddenly rembering sothing.
"I rembered that you once told I had a daughter before this, right?"
He thought Ethan was only spouting nonsense at that ti, but now, it seed like this guy knew everything all along.
On the other hand, Ethan was breaking out in a cold sweat.

As he said this, he turned to Alex with a pleading look.
‘Nephew, I’m hiding all these secrets from your dad just for you guys. You can’t just leave in the dust like this... Help out!’
Alex stepped in to diffuse the situation for Ethan.
"Dad, the only thing that matters now is that we’ve located my sister. We need to find a way and reunite with her."
Steven pondered for a mont. According to Ethan’s personality, he wouldn’t dare to deceive him. Besides, he had a big mouth; if he had known about his niece earlier, he would have broadcast it to the world by now.
Steven nodded, agreeing with Alex’s words.
"Why hasn’t Zane found anything yet..."
Seeing him so anxious, Alex recalled how Emma told him that Steven had blocked Cecilia’s account. With Steven’s level of emotional intelligence, even if he sohow reunited with Emma, Cecilia would end up disliking him. He had better start things off by fixing his parents’ relationship.
"Dad, when are you going to add Mom back?"
Steven’s expression turned a bit awkward.
"Why are you asking?"
"Mom might be able to help with finding my sister."
Steven took a napkin to wipe his mouth, replying as he turned to go back to his room.
"Got it, you all continue eating. I’m going to rest."
Back in his room, he took out his phone and read the words [You’re not friends with this user] on the screen, his grip on it gradually tightening.
The day after he blocked Cecilia, he already regretted it. Thus, he reluctantly added her back.
But as soon as he did that, he received a system ssage saying that she had removed him from her friends list.
There was no way he could admit such an embarrassing thing to anyone. As if it wasn’t bad enough already, he accidentally pressed the button and sent Cecilia another friend request.
Days went by without a response from her side; neither rejecting or accepting it.
This was truly embarrassing!

The next morning, Emma received the watch she had ordered the night before.
Excitedly, she handed the watch to Cecilia.
"Mommy, look! I got this birthday gift for Daddy!"
"When are we going to Daddy’s house? I want to give it to him in person so he won’t be mad anymore."
Cecilia looked at the watch Emma was holding and couldn’t help but smile wryly.
The flashy gold watch had an aura of the nouveau riche.

As she thought of this, Cecilia put on her ultra-extravagant Balenciaga sun hat she had just bought.
Obviously, this mother and daughter had surprisingly similar tastes. But thanks to their exceptional looks, they were able to pull off even the most disastrous fashion items.
Cecilia replied, "If you want to go, we can go anyti."
Although it was hard to give a comnt on the watch, she didn’t want to dampen Emma’s enthusiasm for Steven. Going to his house was no biggie; this way, she could also seize the chance to see her son.
Moreover, at Steven’s birthday party last ti, he had even specifically told the butler last ti that she could visit anyti.
That was quite considerate of him.
Emma was thrilled, quickly taking Cecilia’s phone.
"Let tell Daddy first~ I wonder if Daddy has added us back..."

Cecilia took the phone, spotting the friend request from Steven.
"That’s Dad requesting to add us as friends."
Emma got excited, replying, "Then quickly accept it, Mommy!"
Cecilia moved her fingers to click confirm, but since the request had been sent from such long ago, it had expired. In the end, she couldn’t accept his friend request.
However, it wasn’t her fault. After returning to the country, she hardly contacted anyone locally. She only used her international social accounts more often, only checking her dostic ones occasionally. Due to this, she hadn’t noticed the incoming friend request.
Besides, Steven had blocked her first, so she didn’t think much and simply deleted him afterward. Who would have thought that he would send her another friend request? He was just so unpredictable.
