Senior Sister, what are you doing?"
Lin Qingyue felt Xiao Wu sniffing her neck. It tickled, and she pulled back.
Xiao Wu didn’t answer. Instead, she grabbed Lin Qingyue’s hand and looked at it closely.
Before Lin Qingyue could react, Xiao Wu suddenly put a finger in her mouth, moving it between her lips and teeth.
"Mmph…!"
Lin Qingyue’s face turned red. She almost bit down in surprise.
Xiao Wu quickly pulled her finger back, leaving a shiny trail of spit.
Su Yan finally spoke up, shocked. "Senior Sister, what are you doing? Why ss with Junior Sister?”
Xiao Wu said, "I was checking her."
"Checking?" Su Yan didn’t understand.
Xiao Wu explained, "She’s still a virgin, yes. But stealing a man’s purity doesn’t always an using the body—there are other ways."
"So I checked—slled her for your scent, looked for your hair on her hands, checked her mouth for strange tastes…"
Su Yan’s face darkened. "You don’t trust ?!"
"Of course I trust you," Xiao Wu said. "But a man’s purity is important. I had to be sure."
She gave him a look. Teaching Junior Sister was fine, but sharing a room? That was too much.
"Don’t do this again, Junior Brother. If soone else saw—not —what would people say?"
"Fine. I’ll be careful," Su Yan sighed. He’d been here a while but still kept old habits. That had to change.
If word got out, people might think he was shaless. That would be bad.
Lin Qingyue listened, confused and embarrassed. Talking about her purity so openly was shocking.
But what stuck with her most were Xiao Wu’s earlier words.
“There’s nothing between and Senior Brother.”
“I know that now.”
Xiao Wu turned to her, then raised a brow. “What’s with the writing on your leg?”
A breeze lifted Lin Qingyue’s skirt, revealing bold black characters on her thigh, sparking Xiao Wu’s curiosity.
“It’s Senior Brother’s punishnt.”
Lin Qingyue said, blushing.
“Punishnt?”
Xiao Wu shot Su Yan a puzzled look.
“She kept forgetting, so I gave her a little lesson. It’s a totally normal teaching trick, yup, that’s it!”
Su Yan coughed, explaining.
Xiao Wu’s gaze turned odd. Did he think she’d never cracked a book? Who taught like that?
“No big deal—why’d you co see today?”
Seeing Xiao Wu about to press, Su Yan avoided the topic with a new one.
Xiao Wu rembered her goal, cheeks reddening. “About that day—I wanted to apologize.”
It wasn’t all her fault, but n were unreasonable. As a woman, she had to soothe him and take the bla.
“That day?”
Su Yan blanked for a second, then flushed when it hit him.
“Senior Sister, stop—I’ve already forgiven you!”
He clapped a hand over her mouth. Junior Sister was right there—if that night ca out, he’d never live it down.
…
With the misunderstanding cleared, Xiao Wu relaxed. Su Yan introduced them properly.
“This is our new Junior Sister, Lin Qingyue.”
“And this is our Eldest Senior Sister, Xiao Wu.”
Xiao Wu smiled. “Nice to et you, Junior Sister.”
Lin Qingyue nodded respectfully. “Nice to et you, Senior Sister.”
Seeing them getting along, Su Yan grinned. “Breakfast ti is soon. Want to join us, Senior Sister?”
Cultivators didn’t need food since they used fasting pills, but Su Yan still loved eating. Lin Qingyue, being new to cultivation, was the sa.
“Since you’re inviting , I’ll join,” Xiao Wu said. She also didn’t want Su Yan eating alone with Junior Sister.
So, the three of them had breakfast together.
After eating, Lin Qingyue cleaned up and then went outside to practice with a wooden sword under a tree.
Xiao Wu turned to Su Yan. “I heard your cultivation has improved. Congratulations!”
Su Yan shrugged. “Just a little progress. I’m still far behind you, Senior Sister.”
In this world, n had weaker talents for cultivation. Even with his system, Su Yan knew he still had a long way to go.
Xiao Wu nodded. “Staying humble is good. It helps you grow.”
Su Yan looked at her. “Besides clearing the misunderstanding, is there another reason you ca, Senior Sister?”
As the top disciple of Tian Shui Peak, Xiao Wu was always busy. It was unusual for her to have this much free ti.
Xiao Wu hesitated, then said, “I can’t hide it from you. I also ca to warn you, stay away from Qin Ying. She’s a trouble.”
Su Yan frowned. “What do you an?”
“She’s got designs on you.”
“No way.”
Su Yan didn’t buy it. Qin Ying always gave him the cold shoulder. How could she like him?
Xiao Wu said, “You’re too naive. Ever hear of playing hard to get? She acts like that to snag your attention, a classic move to hook guys.”
Su Yan opened his mouth to argue, then stopped.
Thinking it over. If Qin Ying hated him, why all those “chance” run-ins? Was she taking a weird angle to win him over?
“She likes ?”
Su Yan felt let down. He’d thought in this huge sect, he’d finally found one woman who didn’t want him. Nope—just another body-chaser. Disappointing.
“Senior Brother, what’re you talking about?”
Lin Qingyue finished sword practice and strolled over, curious.
Sweaty from exertion, perspiration traced her clothes, outlining her full chest.
Su Yan’s eyes drifted there.
Xiao Wu wasn’t pleased. With a flick, she cast a spell, drying Lin Qingyue off.
Lin Qingyue blinked, smiling. “Thanks, Senior Sister! I feel fresh now.”
“No problem.”
Xiao Wu said coolly.
Su Yan coughed, awkward. “Done with the sword? How’d it feel?”
Lin Qingyue said, “Pretty good. Want to give so pointers, Senior Brother?”
