The young man slowly opened his hands, his fingers loosely grasping the air.

The Hero’s erald eyes widened slightly. Clearly, there was nothing between those hands, yet she could distinctly see a pair of shimring swords held by the young man.

"Is this what’s called ’Sword Intent’?" the girl couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity.

The young man smiled faintly and shook his head: "While my swordsmanship is passable, I’m not a pure Swordsman, nor do I intend to follow the path of the Sword Saint. So this isn’t really Sword Intent, just a small application of spiritual power, useful for dealing with Ghost Type magic creatures."

"So are you planning to perform suicide as a gift in return?" sneered the Depraved Hero standing beside him, hands on her hips.

"...The Elf Swordsman’s ability cos from the spirits with which they make contracts. Therefore, what’s truly important is not the swordsmanship, or even the sword itself," the young man ignored her comnt with a calm expression and continued:

"The key is to have a ’vehicle’ capable of sustaining them, which is the weapon. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a sword, but the sword’s form is balanced and can better harmonize with different spirits, making it relatively suitable."

The young man deftly twirled his wrist, flourishing his sword with a flourish and striking a handso pose.

The Depraved Hero seed to have sothing more to say, her expression mischievous, but before she could speak, the Hero had already wrapped one arm around her neck and pinched her mouth shut, silently gesturing for the young man to continue.

"Ahem." The young man withdrew his motions, standing back upright, "Although in theory, one’s body is the most compatible thing with spirits, think about it—spirits like the Absolute Sword, if they reside in the flesh, would backlash the host to death before attacking the enemy.

"Even if it’s not the Spirit of Void, pure elents like fire and lightning are also not sothing that pure flesh and blood can bear.

"Therefore, for an Elf Swordsman, the ’sword’ is not only an extension of the body but also a bridge to communicate with spirits." The young man took a deep breath, looking serious.

"The standing here is rely an illusion to you. Whether it’s weapons or the spirits of the contract, they are no longer here, so there’s not much I can demonstrate."

At these words, the Depraved Hero rolled her eyes. Though her mouth was covered, she still vividly conveyed her heartfelt disdain.

But the young man was not annoyed, simply sharpening his gaze and gradually raising his sword: "However, the fundantal ability as an Elf Swordsman remains.

"—To forge a bond with the spirits through the sword in one’s hand.

"I will do my best to show you the essence of an Elf Swordsman, and how much you can gain from the resonance depends on you."

With that, he rearranged his posture, a solemn expression upon him, his entire being like a blade unsheathed, exuding an imposing aura.

"Then, I trust you." The Hero released her other self’s mouth, stepping forward with a solemn expression, and bowed to the young man.

A teacher guides, passes on knowledge, and resolves doubts. Although the young man was not a Martial Monk-like ntor, the fact that she would learn sothing from him did not change.

Freed, the Depraved Hero licked her lips but said nothing, crossing her arms with interest, watching from the side.

As the sword montum unfolded, the air on the deck tingled the skin into discomfort.

Then, the young man began to swing his sword.

Though there was no sword in his hand, the trajectory cut through the atmosphere tangibly, as if torn by an invisible blade.

Each of his moves was full of might, not aid at killing, but revealing his spirit and soul through every sword strike.

—The Sword Dance Ceremony.

Sweat flew alongside the sword’s shadow, Magic Power surging through his body, his spirit refined to the utmost.

With this fierce and dignified sword dance, the young man proclaid his ’self’ to all the world’s spirits between heaven and earth.

He continually perford, sword shadows crisscrossing, sword light like a totem always converging in a core area.

Gradually, the remnants of Magic Power from those hundreds and thousands of sword trajectories began to coalesce, transforming into sothing tangible.

The Hero’s erald eyes widened, watching this spectacle without blinking, a certain indefinable understanding rising in her heart.

[Hero’s Skill: Golden House enhanced to: Golden Jade Spirit Fate]

Capable of inscribing on all materials and partial immaterials, the inscriptions have a certain probability of attracting spirits for guardianship. Special Effect: Fated Contract: Allows the writing of contracts on individual objects, making them semi-permanent anchoring cores for specific spirits.

The dance concluded.

The young man’s chest rose and fell slightly as he sheathed the twin swords, taking in deep breaths.

In the air, a round, crystalline jade resembling the last azure of dusk slowly descended, casting a serene and far-reaching glow.

The Hero reached out her hands, gently cradling the jade congealed by Magic Power and water vapor.

"So, what have you gained?" The young man steadied his breathing, gave his hands a shake, dispersing the twin swords.

"Hmm, I’ve learned a lot. Thank you." The Hero’s eyes were bright, and he nodded happily.

"That’s good." The young man relaxed upon hearing this, but then showed a slightly self-deprecating smile, "However, this level of Strength probably isn’t much help to you."

Although he believed he did his best to showcase himself, even if he exerted two hundred percent of his power, he wouldn’t be able to shake the girl before him, not having reached Legendary status.

After all, the Ghost Ship manifested him because it couldn’t calculate her possibilities and found an alternate approach.

"Don’t say that." The Hero shook his head earnestly, his Erald Eye clear, "I got here thanks to the help of many people. Regardless of whether those helps are big or small, missing just one might lead down the wrong path."

Receiving the help of others is never a given, and it can even be said to be a blessing.

Whether it’s a small blessing or a major blessing, each has been a cornerstone of her path thus far.

"So, no help is ever useless." The girl spoke softly.

"...Is that so." The young Hero paused, then exhaled gently, his gaze also softened.

Without saying more, he simply pointed to the gemstone in the Hero’s hand.

"That’s an Elf dium, ford from the Magic Power of the Ghost Ship and the waters of the Deep Sea. There’s a high chance it can summon a Water Spirit, why not give it a try?"

[Who will write? (Hero/Fallen Courage)]

"Then let —" Upon hearing the young man’s words, the Depraved Hero’s eyes lit up and she was about to reach out to grab it.

"I have a feeling you’d write sothing ssed up on it, so let do it."

But the Hero foresaw, with nimble bare feet, spun around to dodge her claws.

"Hmph, stingy." The Depraved Hero stomped her foot, "Fine, I’ll find sothing else to write with next ti."

"I don’t know what you’ve learned, but items that can serve as Elf diums aren’t easy to find." The young man chuckled, sowhat expectantly awaiting the Hero’s actions.

Spirits exist between pure Elents and living Magic Creatures.

But this doesn’t an they’re weak; on the contrary, so Elves are so strong they can’t beco Magic Creatures, such as the Spirit of Void acting as a point of annihilation.

Like the Hurricane Maelstrom capable of toppling cities, or the Thunder Snake winding for Far Reach, these elental catastrophes harbor powerful Spirits, making them hard to dissolve with Magic.

Yet they can hardly beco Magic Creatures, destined to naturally dissipate after exhausting Strength.

Due to their power, extrely stringent conditions are needed for them to manifest as life.

Thus, humankind developed Elf Study, temporarily manifesting Elves by paying their own Magic Power, borrowing strong combat power.

However, summoning Elves imposes many environntal restrictions, such as in hot volcanoes, Water Magic loses significant effect, almost making it impossible to summon Water Elves.

Therefore, to compensate for this defect, "diums" beco crucial spellcasting materials.

Under the gaze of the young man and her other self, the Hero thought for a while, then grasped the gemstone in her left hand while extending her index finger with her right, beginning to write in mid-air.

Her fingertips glided through the void, Magic Power leaving a flowing trajectory, sketching out elegant gold lettering, each stroke revealing the writer’s style.

The golden script, like ancient Runes, erged in the air, then began contracting, imprinting onto the Jade, enhancing its blue depth.

"...A fixed Agreent?" After watching for a while, realizing what the Hero was doing, the young man couldn’t help but widen his eyes in surprise.

Spellcasters can temporarily manifest Elves by paying Magic Power, but once the summoning ends, the Elves still dissipate, even with a Contract.

A Contract only ensures a specific target, making the summoning controllable, and provides additional abilities from the contracted Elf, but it doesn’t keep the Elf manifested.

But by directly inscribing the Contract onto the Jade, the mysterious script combined with the Jade enhances its ability to anchor the Elf.

This effectively turns the dium into a pseudo "Demon Core," allowing the Elf to remain as a Magic Creature continuously.

"This—" The young man’s mouth parted in disbelief.

Even though the Elf summoned by this Jade wouldn’t be very strong, given enough dium...

Before the young man could keep pondering, the Hero finished the last stroke.

The bold calligraphy engraved onto the Jade bore the girl’s na.

The Agreent finalized, the Jade radiated brilliantly, its clear, azure Radiance Blooming like shallow seas.
