In the next mont, the hazy pillar of light rapidly shrank, turning into a symbolic thin line tied to the sword’s hilt.
Without the unusual glow covering it, they finally saw the true form of the Evil-breaking Sword clearly.
What t their eyes was a broad sword slightly longer than the Hero’s arm, with a hilt roughly the length of her forearm. It lacked a blade tip, instead featuring a sowhat rough, unfinished edge, but the outline alone revealed it to be a two-handed claymore.
Compared to the physical object seen yesterday in the Evil-breaking Church, the broken sword’s blade was much longer, with the dense rust almost gone. The steel blade was mirror-like, reflecting the smug smile of the Depraved Hero.
However, upon closer inspection, the mirror-like blade had fine, chaotic red lines running through it, splitting the blade into nurous fragnts, resembling both veins and rged cracks.
“It worked.” Seeing the other version of herself proudly holding the broken sword, the Hero curiously leaned closer, her erald green pupils reflected in the blade.
“But neither of us knows swordsmanship. Do you think it feels right to use?”
“Aren’t you a Martial Monk? Have you learned hand-to-hand combat? You can still fight, can’t you?” the Depraved Hero rolled her eyes.
“Putting all your strength into a punch to kill soone and putting all your strength into a sword swing to kill, it’s pretty much the sa thing.”
“Cough, cough, that’s true…”
The Hero gave a light cough, feeling sothing was slightly off, “But I still think we should respect the existence of skills, like the different swordsmanship schools…”
Glancing at her unskilled self, the Depraved Hero snorted with laughter through her nose.

Then she turned her body, her gaze fixed on the towering Dream Ruins not far away.
The young girl tightly gripped the broken sword, and the countless blood threads hidden beneath the blade simultaneously blood with dazzling red light, making the previously mirror-like blade resemble shattered fragnts.

Amidst the roar, the Depraved Hero raised the broken sword high, took a step forward, and fiercely swung it ahead.
With a “boom” like a thunderous explosion, amidst a lightning-like flash, the blade of the Evil-breaking Sword shattered directly, transforming into countless snowflake blades, swept forward in a massive burst of magic power.
A second thunder followed closely, as the towering Dream Ruins, standing like a high rise, were instantly pierced by thousands of flying blades, collapsing with a perforated appearance, raising a cloud of dust.
And within a few breaths, the Evil-breaking Sword, now only a hilt, reford its blade, though the red light upon it dimd sowhat.
“…Does that even count as a sword?” The Hero scratched her head.
“As long as it kills enemies, who cares? I’m not gonna stupidly go and hack one by one, this is way more convenient.” The Depraved Hero sheathed the sword in hand, grinning.
“Alright, as long as you like it.”
Despite so persuasion earlier, since she’d agreed to let the other version use the broken sword, the Hero had no further comnts.
“We’ve been here quite a while, it’s about ti we woke up, otherwise Gleaming Scales might worry.”
“Oh, let’s go, I’ve long been sick of this broken place.”
The Depraved Hero, without objection, reached out to the original body.
Hand in hand, they stood side by side, then their figures gradually overlapped and faded away.
