Seconds after the impact on the ground, the roaring sound arrived belatedly, drowning out the urgent shouts of the two n.

“Your Majesty!” “Princess!”

Their reactions were not delayed either, and before the shockwave swept in, an ice wall rose, with several protective magic seals placed on the attendants.

However, this hasty defense couldn’t fully protect the camp. The recently set up bonfire scattered, the fragrant pot crashed to the ground, and tents and other items were all overturned, creating a scene of chaos.

One of the attendants was caught off guard by a flying stone hitting his forehead. Luckily, the protective magic seal glowed green, repelling the stone, but he was still knocked down by the strong wind, rolling on the ground with a cry of pain.

As the shockwave officially struck, the Gleaming Scale Serpent let out a sigh of relief.

This level of attack wouldn’t harm Her Majesty.

The Demon Hunter’s expression, however, showed little relaxation as he sprinted towards the forest.

But before he could get close, the Hero leaped out from the forest.

“Wait!”

The impact of the falling teor ca quickly and left quickly.

After the shockwave was buffered by the forest, although it caused so damage to the camp, its destructive power was far less than the previous Magic Cloud Undercurrent.

The Hero, after a brief observation, saw that the vast majority of attendants were unhard as they stood back up. So were cursing, others shook their heads helplessly, with only a few suffering minor injuries.

“Hero, how is Her Highness!?”

Seeing the Hero suddenly jump out from the forest to stop him, the Demon Hunter halted, unable to hide the anxiety on his face.

Although the Fourteenth Princess had arcane artifacts for protection, she was nonetheless a re mortal.

“Princess, she’s fine… it’s just…” The Hero snapped back to reality, stamring as he averted his gaze.

The Demon Hunter first exhaled with relief, then grew a bit anxious again, looking towards the Hero with curiosity and subconsciously trying to tap into his perception.

“Hey!”

Realizing his movent, the Hero got anxious and a sudden gust dispersed the Demon Hunter’s perception.

This seasoned Demon Hunter retreated a step in surprise, seemingly realizing sothing, showing an awkward expression.

“I’m fine, go check on the others first.”

Before he could speak, the voice of the Fourteenth Princess ca from the forest, putting on a slightly forced calmness to persuade the Demon Hunter to maintain order at the camp.

Seeing him leave, the Hero finally relaxed, sowhat sheepishly turning around.

“Well, Princess, is it clean now?”

The Fourteenth Princess, her cheeks flushed, stood up, throwing the torn and expended cleansing scroll to the ground.

“Really… I’m always being protected by you, even though I’m the older one, it’s truly embarrassing.” She sighed.

Just before the impact occurred, the Hero had protected her with the shield of the Enchanted Claw, ensuring she took no harm.

However, unexpectedly, the falling teor carried imnse magic power, causing the magic elent concentration in the air to spike, enveloping both of them after the Hero removed the shield.

In such a dense magic environnt, the Crystal Armor on the Hero shimred faintly.

Soaked in the dense magic elent, the Hero only felt his body lighten, as if sothing grimy had fallen off, making him feel as comfortable as soaking in a hot spring.

This kind of environnt was a boon for him, but for the Fourteenth Princess, who suffered from Magic Dissociation, it was the exact opposite.

If the external magic elent concentration becos too high, the slight magic power within the Fourteenth Princess might leak out due to imbalance, weakening her life force and possibly causing external magic elents to pollute her body in return.

However, the Count had already considered these unforeseen and potential crises when designing the Demon-locking Ring for the Fourteenth Princess, which is why the miasma from the previous Magic Cloud Undercurrent had not affected her.

This ti was no different. As soon as the Hero removed the shield, the five Demon-locking Rings on her hands, feet, and neck imdiately increased their power, isolating her completely from the high concentration of external magic elents.

However, the sudden boost in the Demon-locking Rings’ power disturbed the innate magic power within the Fourteenth Princess, causing a slight electric-like tingling. Normally, this stimulation would just cause temporary numbness, making movent slightly difficult for the Fourteenth Princess.

But coincidentally, at that very mont, she was in the forest…

The result was, that an unremarkable patch of dirt on the forest floor beca wet, and the cleansing scroll ca in handy.

“So, shall we return to camp?” The Hero cautiously probed.

The Fourteenth Princess cleared her throat, trying to calm the blush on her face, and with as steady a voice as possible responded: “…Let’s wait a bit longer before we head back. It seems no one was hurt, after all.”
