[Due to the burning desire for revenge, the Hero’s next action is fixed to be hunting Goblins.]
The Hero left the city.

“Are you sure you want to go out alone?”
Under the sowhat concerned gaze of the gatekeeper, the Hero silently nods, carrying only a backpack and empty-handed.
“Alright, since you insist.”
The gatekeeper frowns but does not continue to dissuade.
“Although the City Defense Army has already cleared the Magic Creatures around here, you’d better not stray too far; even a Big Adventure should have its limits.”
“…Thank you.”
Is it confidence in their transford snake form, or is their mind just clouded by anger…
Without carrying any weapons, the Hero, like a girl out on a picnic, leaves the city’s protection, empty-handed.

[Abandoned mine]
An old mine whose veins are long forgotten and have been abandoned, now a nesting ground for Magic Creatures,
considered devoid of resources, it has been left uninhabited and few Adventurers are willing to approach it.
Useless mining tools, abandoned picks, and shovels have beco the favored weapons of Goblins.

Although they only have the strength of a child, their ferocity often takes most rookie Adventurers by surprise when they have the nurical advantage.
Goblins usually move in groups, and ordinary people who encounter them often have little chance to resist before being killed or captured, living up to their identity as Magic Creatures.
Generally, there’s only a chance for one special Goblin to appear in every hundred.

And at this mont, the Hero finally arrives outside the mine.
“I’ve arrived…”
Overlooking the desolate mine pit below, the Hero takes a deep breath.
“Is that…
a Shaman?”
In the sunlight outside the mine tunnel, the Goblin Shaman, even shorter than the other Goblins and propping itself on an old wooden Staff, was poking at the rubble on the ground with lackluster curiosity.
Even Goblins can use Magic.
Recalling the knowledge from books and looking at the stick in its hand that hardly qualified as a Magic Wand, the Hero’s brows furrow unhappily.
Before long, this Goblin Shaman, whose mind sohow crossed wires in the darkness of the mine and awakened to Magic, listlessly flicked away the rubble.
A stone, struck by the stick and slightly changed in shape, beca a Stone Arrow, much sharper than before, hitting another regular Goblin in the head.
Watching its own kind roll around on the ground, bloodied and screaming, the Goblin Shaman cackles shrilly.
In this godforsaken abandoned mine, it could only amuse itself by toying with its underlings like this to get the few joys it had.
But compared to playing with stones in the mine tunnels, it found puncturing Humankind with Earth Magic and then calling its minions to start a barbecue far more amusing.
The screams of its own kind were far less pleasant than those of Humans, and the Goblin Shaman quickly lost interest, swaggering back into the dark depths of the mine, eagerly anticipating the arrival of new prey.
Seeing the leader gone, the rest of the Goblins show no sympathy to their kin, struck by the Stone Arrow and On the Verge of Death on the ground, leaving it to fate.
They began to wander around, patrolling in a relaxed manner, looking for weaker victims to bully.

From a distance, observing this scene, the Hero, her brows furrowed with disgust at the Goblins’ depravity, finally made up her mind.
Without hesitation, the Hero’s body transford; she shed her skin from beneath her simple dress and beca a huge, slender snake.

‘I’ll kill you all—’
The Hero, now an erald green tree serpent, moved silently across the craggy mine floor, approaching the patrolling Goblins.
The Goblins’ patrol formation was scattered and full of holes.
Indeed, if these creatures possessed that kind of alert intelligence, they wouldn’t be treated as the lowest Magic Creatures.

Silently, a snake’s tail shot out from a crevice between the rocks, snagging a yawning Goblin.
[Stealth Attack successful, Sacrifice activated.

The first solitary Goblin couldn’t even scream before being crushed into a pile of flesh by Big Snake’s constricting coils.
Then the second, and the third—
