Chapter 353: D130.*!?
The soft whirlwind envelops the Hero’s entire body, transforming her into a nimble fish that glides freely through the air.
She opens her eyes wide, overlooking the city beneath her.
Although she has flown into the blue sky in the form of a Phoenix more than once, flying with her original body now brings a completely different sensation.
Even though the Phoenix’s speed is faster, the experience of flying freely in her original form brings an indescribable exhilaration to the Hero.
However, now is not the ti to enjoy flying. The Hero quickly discerns the direction, a strong wind blowing behind her, rapidly propelling her towards the target area.
Unnoticed, the White Snake Hair Ornant on her head had also opened its eyes, the Gleaming Scale Serpent deftly tying up her hair to prevent it from being blown ssy by the wind.
The Military Mage’s report had already described the area where the Goblins appeared, and as she drew closer, the Hero quickly perceived the chaos ahead.
“So many Goblins…”
She looks down, shocked by the scene below. Over a hundred Mutant Goblins are wreaking havoc on the streets, their distribution haphazard and their actions unorganized, plunging the block into complete chaos.
The tangled ss montarily leaves her baffled on how to intervene, but just this brief glimpse reveals several bodies whose appearances make it clear they are beyond saving,
The Hero’s complexion tightens instantly, her fists clenching involuntarily.
[Casualty numbers (add Goblin number, Desire Nest d48)]
D50 d48=d50 (48) d48 (7)=55
[Casualty numbers Critical Success, Goblin number 30=85]
[Green Tide Erosion (50 upgrades to Goblin Nest Protector, each 10 points one level, 95 further evolution)]
D100=d100 (63)=63
“Still too late—” the Hero bites her lower lip hard.
Although she did her utmost to accelerate, the Count Mansion was too far from here, and by the ti she was inford, the tragedy had already been unfolding for quite so ti.
This is the comrcial district of Border City, densely populated, the Hive’s explosion overturned almost half of a street, spewing out hundreds of Goblins, causing heavy casualties and deaths among the citizens caught off guard, a situation far worse than the initial village that was attacked by Goblins.
But rembering her grandfather’s words, the Hero strives to calm herself down, forcing her away from the scattered Goblins and the bodies of the innocents, searching for the true target.
Such an abundance of Goblins could not appear out of nowhere; there had to be a source.
Fortunately, the people of the Border are fierce, and although this attack was sudden, after the initial casualties, many organized a defense line, preventing the situation from spiraling further out of control.
Whether it was passing Adventurers, patrolling Soldiers, or ordinary citizens with Professions, they were all fiercely resisting the assault of the Mutant Goblins. Upon learning of the situation, the Count would inevitably dispatch the army to control the situation.
Yet, many unard citizens still faced fatal threats. The Hero knew that only by finding and eliminating the mastermind behind this disaster could she truly end it all.
The next mont, a deep blue light surged in the Hero’s eyes, the moisture in the air becoming an extension of her Perception, rapidly expanding in all directions.

“Found it!”
The Hero’s Perception spreads out, locking onto the target in a matter of seconds.
This was not only due to her extraordinary Perception Range but also because the target was too conspicuous, almost effortlessly noticeable with just a bit of searching.
The Hero imdiately takes action, flying over another part of the city.
There on the street below, a conspicuously large crater surrounded by radiating cracks in the ground appears to have been caused by an explosion, and here the number of Goblins is incredibly dense, with many casualties and deaths around, far more horrifying than other places.
In front of the crater, an abnormally large Goblin stands like a at wall, with a thick aty conduit extending from its spine into the dark depths of the hole.

That must be the leader of the large Goblin, seemingly tightly connected to sothing beneath the pit, unable to stray too far.
But this does not prevent the horrific scene around it.
What’s even more terrifying is, other smaller Goblins are transporting human bodies, throwing them one by one into the pit.
Then, with a chilling, strange surging sound, dozens of new Goblins slowly crawl out of the pitch-black pit, briefly stunned before waking up and, grinning savagely, joining their kin in the murderous looting.
Watching this scene, the Hero’s eyes beco as still as ancient wells.
Rather than feelings of anger, guilt, or disgust, what perates her heart is more a sense of duty and obligation.
— Not even for a second can she allow these Goblins to live any longer.
