The Goblin Sword Fighter, an ugly and tall green-skin, had muscles swelling from the intake of Magic Elent as it commanded more goblins.

Although devoid of any aesthetic appeal, the strength it possessed was undeniably genuine, even its eyes and ears were significantly sharpened.

And not choosing to be a Knight, looking down upon heavy defense, perhaps it truly possessed the talent of a Swordsman.

Clearly oblivious as the Hero approached, imrsed in playing with swords and gestures by the campfire to spear food with a Rusty Sword.

But the mont a sinister wind sounded from behind, the Goblin Sword Fighter’s expression drastically changed, and it rallied its muscles in an attempt to spin and swing its sword.

But the Hero was faster.

Big Snake pounced swiftly from the shadows, and before the Goblin Sword Fighter’s impoverished brain could send signals to its body, the strike fueled with his whole being had already hit.

[Hero triggered Skill: Sacrifice]

[Goblin Sword Fighter received instant-kill damage]

A crisp explosion resonated, then so sort of moist liquid splattered everywhere.

Just a mont ago, goblins at the feet of the Goblin Sword Fighter were awkwardly writhing, moving their limbs in movents hardly qualified as dance, now looked up blankly.

Their leader, newly recognized and evolved re hours ago, now grasping the Rusty Sword in both hands, struck a rather heroic pose.

And the head that flew off added an artistic touch to this humanoid body.

If this body weren’t green, perhaps this scene would have even caught the attention of artists.

But goblins naturally couldn’t comprehend this artistic value, they couldn’t even understand what had just happened.

Only goblins further away unintentionally witnessed it, as if a Big Snake leapt out of the void, exploding their leader’s head from the shadows without even a trace left behind.

And their leader, the Goblin Sword Fighter, as if unaware that his head had been scattered, still firmly gripped the sword and turned around, posturing himself.

Then no more movent.

Big Snake did not look back at the dead Goblin Sword Fighter, she reared up her body high, her cold vertical pupils overlooking the stunned goblins.

This familiar scene had also occurred half a day ago.

But this ti, without the mouth-watering maiden, only the scaly Big Snake basking under the firelight.

[Goblin’s Panic (Leader’s Death 30)]

Perhaps there’s no need to emphasize again.

Goblins are weak, despicable, and hopeless Magic Creatures.

Clinging to the strong, yet lacking any loyalty; they have the numbers, but think only of self-preservation when it matters.

If the Hero was still in her naïve young girl’s guise, these goblins might still bravely rush forward driven by primal desires.

But now, in the eyes of the goblins, she is rely a terrifying Demon Snake, a Magic Creature capable of instantly killing the leader.

Thus, panic spread instantaneously, and the goblins, as if agreed upon, scattered in all directions without hesitation.

Apart from a few extrely panicked goblins who threw stones at the Hero out of dysfunction rather than vengeance, nearly a hundred goblins in the Goblin Group, like startled giant rats, screaming while twisting their hideous backs, fled.

This scene carried a codic sense that was amusing and could even dilute the disgust in people’s hearts.

But whether it’s the senseless Big Snake or the Hero who owns human hearts, there’s no rcy for goblins.

Then, the hunt began.

[Hero killed 23 goblins]

After killing those that ran into walls or collapsed due to overpowering panic, Big Snake looked around with her cold vertical pupils, only to find that other goblins had long vanished.

If the Hero were still conscious, she’d undoubtedly feel down for the umpteenth ti for lacking the talent of a Mage.

Even if the beheading was clean, relying solely on Big Snake transformation, she had no way of handling the scattered fleeing goblins.

It could be said that only in such tis did goblins possess power that rendered others helpless.

They strive only to run faster than their fellows, and if not eradicated in one sweep, hunting them all down later becos very challenging.

Later, these goblins might be hunted down for intruding into other Magic Creatures’ territories, might be killed for irritating wandering skeletons, or simply get accidentally digested by Slis,

But there would always be goblins who escape by the skin of their teeth, and they would inevitably begin anew elsewhere.

That’s the nature of pests.

[Hero’s next action—]

1.

Chase!

(Might intrude on other Magic Creature’s territory)

2.

Stop
