302 Don’t threaten with her na

Everyone was shocked and intimidated by Lóng Wei’s action. Ting Xi rushed in his direction to stop him from doing anything, while Cha Ying followed her mother. Chang Shi also stood up from his seat and wondered what Lóng Wei would do.

“Prince Lóng Wei, you will lose the governorship if you harm my father,” Kang Huijuan reminded him. Lóng Wei chuckled when Kang Xi scread in fear.

“Y-your Highness, p-please do n-not move your sword,” Kang Xi said, as he felt the sword’s blade had already cut the skin. The servants knelt to plead with Lóng Wei and asked him to spare their lord. Ting Xi also begged Lóng Wei, while Cha Ying started to cry in fear.

Lóng Wei told Kang Huijuan with a smile, “Tell the truth in front of the King, or else I will give the reason to His Majesty why I killed your father.”

“You cannot force to lie,” Kang Huijuan was still adamant about keeping his lie intact. He knew Lóng Wei was only threatening him. “You don’t want to return to the Cold Palace, so you will not kill my father,” he stated.

Lóng Wei clicked his tongue and tilted his head to look at Kang Xi. “Sadly, your son does not care for you. He tried to hide his cris from everyone and then put the bla on an innocent servant. He tried to destroy the evidence of his wrongdoings by setting a place on fire,” Lóng Wei stated.

Kang Huijuan was stunned to find that Lóng Wei knew about it. He had not expected that Lóng Wei would find such a deep secret of his.

Lóng Wei slowly withdrew his sword. Kang Xi fell on his knees while trembling in fear. Ting Xi knelt too and covered her husband’s neck with her hand to stop the bleeding. She was crying and asked Dong Yao to bring the physician.

“No one would step out of the house,” Lóng Wei asserted.

.....

“My father is bleeding, Your Highness. Please let the physician co,” Cha Ying said this ti and requested Lóng Wei.

“He won’t die with such a small wound. Your father and brother gave many wounds, so compared to that, it is nothing,” he stated and looked at Kang Huijuan. “Why don’t you tell the truth? Your family is about to end, Kang Huijuan.”

“My brother didn’t do anything,” Cha Ying defended Kang Huijuan, who had asked her to stay out of it.

Lóng Wei reminded the King of the law: “As the Governor, if I find anything wrong going on, I can take the action without asking the King.” They heard the sound of shoes and found the five royal inspectors had entered the house.

They bowed their heads before Lóng Wei.

“Forgive us for getting late, Your Highness,” one of them said.

Lóng Wei instructed them to investigate the matter where Wu Jin died and several other people were injured. Kang Huijuan asked Lóng Wei to stop and glared into his eyes.

“Let’s talk in private, Your Highness,” Kang Huijuan said, and dragged Lóng Wei inside with him. Lóng Wei asked him to leave his arm, and they both faced each other when they got into a room.

“How did you find out?” Kang Huijuan asked him.

“Why don’t you beco polite with ? Your family’s reputation is in my hand yet you are showing the arrogant attitude to ,” Lóng Wei stated.

“Lóng Wei, how about you kill ?” Kang Huijuan smirked and grabbed the sword from his hand, but Lóng Wei tightened the hold on that sword. Kang Huijuan could not see anything good for him and he decided to change the entire scenario.

If he got severely injured, then he could surely turn the tables. Then, Lóng Wei would be blad and be sent to the Cold Palace.

“Kang Huijuan, don’t play tricks with ,” Lóng Wei said as he pulled back his hand and kicked him away. The door opened and Chang Shi entered. He pointed his sword at Kang Huijuan’s neck, who had fallen on the floor.

“Drag him and his father to the palace,” Lóng Wei said, and turned to leave when Kang Huijuan stopped him.

“Fine. I will tell the truth. I admit that I was the man who had a physical relationship with Xin Jue. But you will not harm my family, especially don’t bring the truth out,” Kang Huijuan finally accepted his defeat.

Lóng Wei shifted his gaze to him. “I won’t agree to any of your demands anymore. It is the end of the Kang Family,” Lóng Wei said with a smile.

“Li Hua will die if you try to harm anyone in the Kang family,” Kang Huijuan stated and smirked.

Lóng Wei frowned when he heard him, and the smile on his lips faded. “What did you say?” Lóng Wei restrained himself from not beheading him.

“Do you think you will be able to save Li Hua? If anything happens here, sothing will happen to Li Hua too. Then, you will again get lonely. Your life will beco dull. Why don’t you just enjoy your life, Lóng Wei?” Kang Huijuan asked him and continued to smile.

Lóng Wei knelt down and looked him in the eyes. “You are really a fool, right? I thought I would be easy on you. I was ready to forgive you only if you had accepted your cris. Li Hua is not my weakness, Kang Huijuan. So don’t threaten with her na,” Lóng Wei stated. He rose to his feet and pulled up Kang Huijuan.

“Don’t lie,” Kang Huijuan stated.

Lóng Wei raised his voice at him, “I will kill you if you speak another word, Kang Huijuan.” He asked Chang Shi to bring him and walked out of the room. Kang Huijuan realized that he was wrong about Lóng Wei’s weakness. He had no way left but to accept the cri he committed.

He ca to the front yard, where everyone was present. Chang Shi ca out with Kang Huijuan. Cha Ying looked at her brother and then requested Lóng Wei not to create a scene.

“I impregnated Xin Jue,” Kang Huijuan admitted in front of everyone. His mother, father, and sister were shocked to hear him.

“Your beloved brother wanted to kill a pregnant woman and wanted to put the bla on soone else’s head,” Lóng Wei asserted.
