Several days passed, and Kanako's father returned ho.

It was relatively late at night and the apartnt was only lit up by a few dim lights.

"I must say, good work, Hanae. I never expected you to improve so much."

"U-um, Father, can you continue to make Mizuhara my tutor? I still have much to impro—"

"Sorry, I'm afraid Mizuhara didn't beco your tutor because he wanted to."

"W-what do you an...?"

"I was going to tell you this at so point—I threatened him."

"Yes, now that he's completed the task I set for him, I'm not going to be able to control him anymore."

Kanako's father took a seat at the dinner table.

As Kanako tried to co to terms with what she heard, her father began making his way into his room. He had just had a long trip back and was quite tired. Her father made his bed and lay in the blankets.

A few minutes later, Kanako barged into the room.

"I want to transfer to National High School."

"But Hanae, you were so against going to a school with boys."

"I've changed my mind! I want to go to National High School."

Kanako's father was taken aback.

Hahaha, Mizuhara, you certainly haven't let down.

"Are you sure? Hanae, I don't think you've heard, but National High School is going to be going through so major changes next year."

"I don't care. I want to go there."

Kanako's father took a mont to think.

The Tachibana System, will Hanae be able to last it?

"Hanae, I'll let you transfer. However, I won't be able to protect you once you're there."

"One of my colleagues created the worst schooling system known to man, and they're implenting it there next year."

"It doesn't matter. I still want to go."

"I like your determination. I'll make a safety net for you in case things go wrong. However, in the case sothing does go wrong, you'll likely never see Mizuhara ever again."

Kanako still showed a face full of determination.

"Well, I guess it's settled. I'll sort out the logistics."
