anwhile, Yu i’s hired water army—the fake accounts she had paid to stir up trouble—started tagging Yu Holea in posts, trying to drag her into the chaos.
"@YuHolea, are you just going to stay silent while your brother ruins lives?"
"Isn’t Yu Holea part of the Yu family? Maybe she knew about all this and kept quiet."
"Don’t let her fool you. Yu Holea might be just as bad as Sicong!"
They spread rumors, claiming that Yu Holea had covered up so of Sicong’s wrongdoings in the past or that she had also benefited from his sches.
At first, Holea ignored the tags and comnts. She wasn’t ready to get involved.
But the accusations kept piling up.
"Yu Holea must be guilty too, or else she’d have spoken up by now!"
"Silence speaks volus, @YuHolea. Are you hiding sothing?"
Holea’s friends ssaged her, telling her to make a statent before things got worse.
"These people are ruthless," one friend texted. "You can’t let them twist the story like this."
After so thought, she wrote a single sentence,
"The justice will be served."
The water army was at a loss. Now what? Should they continue to accuse her? But what accusation should they co up with?
Before the water army could think of a way, their IDs were again exposed.
The water army was stunned, and for a mont they regretted taking the order.
Without hesitation, they sold Yu i out.
They posted a reply under the comnt (Water Army: "Yu Holea is so malicious!")
Water Army: We are hired by actress Yu i. The pay was three tis and so we accepted the order, please don’t bla us.
The revelation hit the internet like a thunderstorm.
The mont the Water Army’s confession was posted, social dia platforms erupted with shock and disbelief.
"Wait, what?! Yu i hired people to slander her own step-sister?!"
"This family drama is on a whole new level."
"Yu i is a snake! I can’t believe she would again use the sa tactics."
"Plot twist: Yu i might be the real villain here!"
Within minutes, screenshots of the water army’s confession started circulating everywhere.
People shared them with captions like:
"And the plot thickens!"
"Yu i, the puppet master?"
"How much dirt is hidden in this family?!"
anwhile, Yu i’s phone buzzed nonstop with notifications and ssages.
She picked it up, her face quickly losing its calm deanor as she saw the posts exposing her involvent.
"How did this happen?" she hissed, pacing her room.
She dialed her subordinate in a panic.
"How could you let this leak?!" she demanded, her voice sharp.
"Miss Yu, I swear we had everything under control," the subordinate stamred. "But the IDs were exposed, and the team panicked. I didn’t think they’d turn on us like that—"
"You didn’t think?!" Yu i snapped, cutting him off. "Do you know what this could do to my image?"
The subordinate’s silence was all the answer she needed. She ended the call with a frustrated sigh and threw her phone onto the couch.
By now, the hashtags had shifted focus:
#YuiExposed
#SisterBetrayal
#JusticeForYuHolea
Yu i felt a knot of panic tightening in her chest as she watched the social dia storm escalate.
The hashtags were everywhere, trending across every platform.
She knew she had to do sothing, and fast. Damage control was critical, but how could she salvage this disaster?
Her publicist called, the urgency clear in her voice.
"Yu i, we need a statent—now. The longer you stay silent, the worse this gets. People are already starting to boycott you."
Yu i clenched her jaw. "What do you suggest I say?"
"Denial won’t work this ti, not with the water army spilling everything," the publicist said.
"We need to spin this as a misunderstanding, or at least distance you from the situation. Play the victim if you have to."
A few hours later, Yu i’s official social dia account posted a lengthy statent.
In it, she claid she had no knowledge of the water army’s actions and that her subordinate had gone behind her back in a misguided attempt to defend her.
She frad herself as being betrayed by the very people she trusted to handle her affairs.
"I am deeply hurt and disappointed that soone in my team would do sothing so vile without my knowledge," the statent read.
"I would never condone such behavior, and I will be conducting a full investigation into this matter. I have nothing but love and respect for my family, especially Holea. This is a misunderstanding, and I hope we can clear things up soon."
At first, the statent seed to calm so of the online outrage.
A few of Yu i’s diehard fans defended her, buying into the narrative that she had been deceived by her team.
But the damage had already been done. For every supportive comnt, there were ten more calling her out.
"Sure, Yu i. It’s always soone else’s fault, huh?"
"If you didn’t know, then how co your team was so coordinated in dragging Holea?"
"This is so obviously a fake apology."
Yu i could feel the walls closing in.
Her sponsorships, her endorsents, her career—they were all on the line. A part of her knew that this scandal wouldn’t blow over easily.
However, she knew that it didn’t matter.
For now, killing Yu Sicong was more important.
She slipped on a black coat and tied her hair into a tight ponytail.
Her phone buzzed again. It was her subordinate, waiting outside. Without a word, she grabbed her bag, glanced at herself one last ti, and left the room.
The drive to the jail was quiet and tense.
Yu i’s heart pounded as she thought about what she was about to do.
She had already bribed a guard and made sure Yu Sicong would be alone tonight, without any security caras watching.
Everything was set. There was no turning back.
The jail looked eerily quiet, the kind of quiet that made the air feel heavy.
Yu i took a deep breath and then closed her eyes.
In an instant, her body shimred and disappeared. She was invisible now.
"I’ll be back soon," she whispered, though the subordinate couldn’t see her anymore. He nodded, swallowing nervously, and waited in the car.
Yu i slipped through the shadows, her footsteps light and silent.
With her power, she easily bypassed the guards, who had no idea she was there.
The bribed guard had left the door to the cell block unlocked, just as promised.
She made her way down the hall, the cold stone walls echoing faintly with the sound of distant footsteps.
Finally, she reached Yu Sicong’s cell.
He was sitting on the small tal bed, his back turned to the door. He looked tired, defeated.
Yu i stood still for a mont, watching him.
She stepped closer, her invisibility slowly fading as she let herself be seen.
Yu Sicong’s head snapped up when he heard the soft footsteps. He turned, his eyes widening in shock when he saw her standing in his cell.
"Yu i?" he asked disbelief in his voice. "What are you doing here?"
She smiled a cold, twisted smile. "I’m here to finish what you started, Sicong."
His face paled. "What do you an?"
Yu i smirked, "What do I an? I an, you should be dead." With that, Yu i took out a knife from her side pocket and stabbed into Yu Sicong’s chest.
Yu Sicong gasped, his eyes widening in shock and pain as the blade pierced his chest.
Blood gushed from the wound, staining Yu i’s hand and the cold, sterile floor of the cell. His lips moved as if trying to form words, but only a faint, gurgling sound escaped.
Yu i watched as the light in Sicong’s eyes began to fade.
"For everything you’ve done," she whispered, her voice low and icy.
"I thank you for doting on , but...you shouldn’t have taken Yu Holea’s side ever."
Yu i turned to leave, her hands stained with blood. But as she took a step back, Sicong managed to choke out a single word:
"i..."
She froze, her heart skipping a beat. She turned her head slightly, just enough to see him struggling to lift his hand toward her.
"You... don’t understand..." he rasped, his voice barely audible. "It’s... not over... for you... either."
Yu i frowned. "What are you talking about?"
For a mont, the room was eerily quiet. All Yu i could hear was her own breathing, heavy and uneven. Her hand, still gripping the bloody knife, started to tremble.
Suddenly, a loud clank echoed down the hallway.
Yu i froze.
"Footsteps?" she whispered to herself.
Before she could react, the sound of heavy boots filled the air, growing louder with every second.
"Freeze!" a voice barked, sharp and commanding. The beam of a flashlight cut through the dim cell, landing directly on her.
Yu i’s heart dropped. She glanced at her hand, still holding the knife, and at Sicong’s lifeless body. It was obvious what this looked like.
"Drop the weapon! Now!" another officer shouted as more officers poured into the room, their guns drawn.
