Director Ou was filled with joy when he saw Yu Holea’s ssage and gave a thumbs up to Yu Holea.
He couldn’t wait to see the clever yet innocent role of the second female lead being played by Yu Holea.
Yu Holea in order to not drag the progress of Director Ou, studied the script, the entire night and slept at 3 am.
When she woke up, she saw so ssages from the Special Officer Force.
A new case was registered by a rich woman. The rich woman claid that she was haunted by a ghost after she returned from a vacation in her hotown.
"A ghost?" she muttered to herself, scrolling through the details of the report.
The rich woman, Mrs. Wang, had recently returned from an exclusive resort in the mountains.
Since her return, she had been experiencing strange phenona — objects moving on their own, cold breezes with no source, and whispering voices in the middle of the night.
Yu Holea shook her head,
"Typical case of being haunted."
She ordered one of the blue squad mbers to go on-site and do the investigation.
At the sa ti, Yu Holea started to think whether she should pay these ghosts so salary.
If it wasn’t for them, she wouldn’t be able to multitask.
Now she had university to attend, look over her business, think of a new script as a director and she was also going to debut as an actress...
If she has to look through the cases of the special force too, god knows, how hard it will beco for her to manage everything.
Thank god she has the blue squad.
Not only do they look after her business, but they even co up with ideas for horror scenes, and investigate the cases handed to her by the Special Force departnt.
For a mont, she wanted to curse all those novels and TV shows that tell that it was very easy for the female lead to have multiple identities.
Yu Holea took a shower and made her way to the Qiao family. She had promised to make lunch for Qiao Jun.
Her heart started to pound slightly and she clenched her fist to control her excitent.
Sotis she despised herself a little.
Even though she had changed so much and gradually learned how to mask her feelings and stay calm at all tis, in front of Qiao Jun all her calmness seed to vanish.
She kept on feeling like a little girl who was a little dumb...
Yu Holea wasn’t entirely at fault.
90% of humans when they fall in love, act a bit dumb in front of their crush.
It was simply because their body seed to have a mind of its own, reacting in ways they couldn’t control.
Their heartbeat quickens, their hands tremble slightly, and their thoughts beco a tangled ss of emotions.
With so many things happening at the sa ti, it clouds the thoughts of the person.
Yu Holea felt all of that and more whenever she was around Qiao Jun.
But thanks to the training she had in the goddess city, she gradually gained good control of her emotions.
When she walked into the living room, Yu Holea frowned a bit.
She saw the person she least wanted to see. Vivian and Aunt Mila were sitting in the living room. There was also Qiao Jun.
But the thing that made her frustrated was...how inappropriately Vivian was clinging to Qiao Jun.
It wasn’t like Yu Holea never saw Qiao Li clinging to Qiao Jun sotis.
However...even though both of them were Qiao Jun’s sisters, Vivian’s way of clinging to Qiao Jun felt... different. It wasn’t the innocent, playful affection of a sister.
Vivian’s arm was looped around Qiao Jun’s, and she leaned in close, whispering sothing.
Yu Holea felt a wave of irritation wash over her, her hands instinctively tightening into fists.
She took a deep breath, reminding herself to stay calm.
After observing Qiao Jun’s reaction Yu Holea understood what was going on.
Her eyes turned cold.
This pair of mother and daughter truly loves to create trouble...she needs to deal with them quickly.
Though Yu Holea never showed it, she slowly beca possessive of Qiao Jun.
However, instead of acting like a mad woman, she maintained a smile on her face and called,
"Mr. Qiao?"
Qiao Jun who was feeling irritated till now, beca attentive and looked in Yu Holea’s direction, but when he saw the fake smile on her face, an ominous feeling rose in his heart.
He hurriedly pushed Vivian away and walked toward Yu Holea,
"H...Honey." He called out. Yu Holea’s distance address just now indicated how bad her mood was.
In such a situation, he didn’t want to provoke her.
Yu Holea ignored him and walked toward the kitchen.
Qiao Jun was about to follow when suddenly Aunt Mila said,
"Jun, I think you should sit down."
A sudden urge to obey Aunt Mila’s words took over Qiao Jun’s body.
He started to walk back toward the sofa. Internally Qiao Jun was struggling. He wanted to ignore Aunt Mila’s words and go back to Yu Holea however his body seems to have a mind of its own.
Suddenly Yu Holea snapped her fingers and Qiao Jun stopped.
As if he was finally in his right mind, Qiao Jun glared at Aunt Mila.
Aunt Mila however was staring Yu Holea. Her eyes widened with horror.
Yu Holea’s eyes t with Aunt Mila and she said word by word,
"No cheap tricks in front of . Trust , I can do worse than this. Next ti I see your daughter leaning on my fiance in such a suggestive manner, I will make you lose your superpower."
Aunt Mila was stunned. Her heart skipped a beat. Her blood turned cold and the hairs on her hand stood.
It was an instinctive reaction that Aunt Mila had whenever she faced an opponent she couldn’t defeat.
Yu Holea walked toward the kitchen, while Qiao Jun followed behind Yu Holea.
However, in his mind, he was thinking of how to deal with the hypnotic energy waves left in his body.
"Miss Yu?"
No response.
"H...honey..."
No response.
"Why aren’t you talking with ..." Qiao Jun muttered. His voice was so soft, that Yu Holea’s heart lted but when she recalled how Vivain had clung to Qiao Jun earlier, her heart burned with jealousy and she said in a slightly sour voice,
"Mr. Qiao what are you doing here? I think you should leave...Or maybe go back to your dear Vivian and continue whatever you were doing," Yu Holea finished, her voice sharp with irritation.
She turned her back to him, pretending to focus on the pot simring on the stove, but her movents were tense, betraying her true feelings.
Qiao Jun’s expression fell, and he rubbed the back of his neck, feeling helpless.
"Lea, it’s not like that... Vivian—she’s just—"
Yu Holea spun around, eyes blazing with frustration
"She’s just what? Your sister? That’s no excuse for her behavior, and you know it!" She hadn’t ant to raise her voice, but the words tumbled out before she could stop them.
"Know what?" Qiao Jun was confused.
"She has so wrong intentions!" Yu Holea almost shouted.
Hearing her words, Qiao Jun’s expression changed and a trace of anger appeared on his face,
"You are misunderstanding sothing. Vivian is my cousin. Stop making baseless accusations!" Qiao Jun’s voice rose, uncharacteristically sharp.
It was rare for him to get angry, especially at Yu Holea, but her insinuation that Vivian had any romantic interest in him was too much.
Yu Holea paused.
From Qiao Jun’s perspective, Vivian was his little sister and to accuse him of being together with her...was indeed Qiao Jun’s unthinkable.
To him, Vivian was family, nothing more. Yu Holea’s accusations struck a nerve, making him feel as though his integrity and judgnt were being called into question.
Yu Holea clenched her fist.
She let her jealousy cloud her judgnt this ti.
From what she knew about Qiao Jun, she was sure of one thing...he didn’t like it when soone questioned his relationship with soone else.
It was his bottom line.
Just when she was about to say sothing, Qiao Jun said coldly,
"Miss Yu no need to make any lunch. You can leave."
Before Yu Holea could answer, Qiao Jun left.
Vivian saw Qiao Jun storming out of the kitchen and hurriedly walked toward him,
"Brother Jun?"
Qiao Jun ignored her and climbed the stairs. Vivian followed behind till they reached just outside Qiao Jun’s room.
"Brother Jun, what happened?"
"Nothing. You should leave." Qiao Jun said calmly.
Vivian stayed by his side and said,
"Brother Jun you can tell . I will not judge you. I am one of your closest people. If you are upset, you can lean on ." Vivian’s voice was soft, her eyes wide with concern, but there was a glint in them that made Qiao Jun pause.
