If only Yu Holea could look at her back she would know that the wing mark on her back was shining with a dim light and hence her back was aching.
Just then her phone rang.
Yu Holea took a deep breath to control herself from groaning in pain.
When she saw an unfamiliar number on her phone, Yu Holea thought that it was from one of her clients and hence she picked it up.
There was silence on the other side and Yu Holea couldn’t help but say,
"Hello?"
Yet no response ca back.
Just when Yu Holea thought that it might be a prank call, a gentle and silk-like voice sounded,
"Where are you?"
Even though the voice was gentle, Yu Holea’s body shuddered.
So vague images passed through her mind and she couldn’t help but clutch her head.
It was only after 2 minutes that the pain in Yu Holea’s subsided and she heard the gentle voice say again,
"I asked you sothing."
This ti there was coldness present in the gentle voice.
Yu Holea instantly knew the person calling her was Mrs. Yu.
When Yu Holea first arrived Mrs. Yu criticized her and said that she didn’t have the aura of a noble and that she needed to take the etiquette class.
In the original novel, Mrs. Yu had indeed hired an etiquette teacher.
Unfortunately, the etiquette teacher had taught etiquette to Yu i when she was a child and hence she would subconsciously compare Yu i and ’Yu Holea’
’Yu Holea’ then would gradually give up on etiquette class just because of this comparison.
Mrs. Yu who later knew this, would scold and punish Yu Holea for her laziness.
In the original novel, ’Yu Holea’ yearned for the love of Yu Brothers more but she also wanted to be close to her biological mother.
She had many fantasies such as her mother taking revenge on her behalf and loving her.
But Mrs. Yu already started comparing Yu Holea with Yu i the mont she arrived.
In Mrs. Yu’s eyes, Yu i was much more pleasing to her eyes.
As for Yu Holea, she looked more like a beggar.
Hence whenever she would talk with Yu Holea she would have a disgusted expression on her face.
It could be said that Mrs. Yu was the character who hated ’Yu Holea’ the most.
In fact in the novel, the reason why Yu i was able to maintain her social status even after her true identity was revealed because of Mrs. Yu.
Mrs. Yu always supported Yu i and either scolded or neglected ’Yu Holea’ because of this those who initially had the idea of getting close to Yu Holea in order to curry favor, also gave up on her.
Taking a deep breath, Yu Holea answered,
"I don’t think, I am obliged to answer your question."
By now Yu Holea had already given up on the Yu family.
The mont she received the severance letter and saw the sign, Yu Holea decided to forget about them.
There was a little feeling left but in order to preserve her dignity, Yu Holea stopped showing it to the Yu Family mbers.
She only wanted to live a peaceful life and after her graduation, she would go to another city to start all over.
A place where no one from the Yu Family could reach her.
Yu Holea didn’t know when she started having such thoughts but for so reason, she didn’t resist this thought.
She didn’t want to live the novel’s storyline and the best way to avoid it, was by staying away from the Yu Family.
That is what Yu Holea thought but the constant harassnt from Yu Family made her doubtful.
She also thought about changing her phone number.
There was silence on the other side of the phone for a long ti before the gentle voice sounded again but this ti it was filled with anger,
" Yu Holea! Is this your manners? Is this the way you talk with your mom ?"
Yu Holea was calm even after hearing Mrs. Yu’s angry voice and said in a plain tone,
"First thing we don’t have any relation between us and second thing you are no one to comnt on my manner when you didn’t teach any."
Yu Holea said the entire sentence without any hitch.
And for so reason the suffocation she didn’t know that she was feeling lessened.
Mrs. Yu who was on the other side of the phone was stunned.
Was this still the country bumpkin that used to talk in a rough manner whenever she opened her mouth?
Why does her mannerism suddenly beco so elegant?
And from when she was able to talk back in such a fluent manner?
When Mrs. Yu t Yu Holea for the first ti, her impression of Yu Holea was a country bumpkin.
From her way of dressing to her manner of talking, everything was inferior as compared to Yu i except for Yu Holea’s face.
Yu Holea was very beautiful but her hair color always made her look a bit ugly.
That is what Mrs. Yu thought and hence she would subconsciously think that Yu i is far more beautiful than Yu Holea.
Mrs. Yu ca out of her daze and said in a cold tone,
"Yu Holea, are you saying that you don’t want to associate yourself with the Yu Family from now on?"
Yu Holea humd in agreent.
Mrs. Yu was angered by the fact of how easily Yu Holea agreed.
She was indeed the one who wanted to throw Yu Holea out of the family 3 months ago but after her anger cald down, she felt that she overdid it.
After all, her son had only asked her to make a fake one but when she reached the office, her mind beca blank and she took out Yu Holea’s docunts to make a real severance letter.
She even used her connection in order to do so.
When her son praised her that she had made very realistic docunts about giving up the custody, Mrs. Yu felt a little guilty.
And when her son ca to argue with her, she felt more guilty.
Just when she was feeling so much guilt, Yu i ca to her and requested her to bring Yu Holea back to Yu Mansion.
Mrs. Yu too wanted to call Yu Holea back but since she didn’t have Yu Holea’s number, she had no way to call her.
Luckily for her, Yu i had Yu Holea’s number, and this is how Mrs. Yu was able to make this call.
At first, she thought that if she talked with Yu Holea in the sa condescending manner, Yu Holea would co back to the Yu Mansion.
But to her surprise, Yu Holea wanted to break off her relationship with Yu Family.
For so reason, she was angry and said sothing, that she didn’t want to say,
"Oh really? Then pay back what you owe to the Yu family."
Yu Holea frowned when she heard this and asked,
"What?"
Mrs. Yu regretted her words but suddenly she had an idea and she said,
"You can’t just break off your relationship with the Yu family after they helped you to get out of that village right? Not to ntion we provided accommodation and money to you."
Yu Holea paused.
She wasn’t able to understand why she was suddenly feeling a pain in her heart but she agreed with Mrs. Yu’s words.
Indeed, from a stranger’s point of view, the Yu Family has helped her, so she owes the Yu family and she has to pay back what she owes.
Hence she asked,
"How do you want to compensate?"
Yu Holea didn’t notice but her tone beca subconsciously more distant.
Mrs. Yu who heard Yu Holea’s distant tone, imdiately felt a tinge in her heart.
Her heart was suddenly filled with fear.
As if...
As if she was losing sothing very precious to herself...
So vague mory appeared in her mind but before she could catch it, soone tapped on her shoulder.
Mrs. Yu looked at Yu i who was looking at her with panic and Mrs. Yu finally reacted, she answered Yu Holea,
"Nothing much you will have to co and live with the Yu Family for a month and help the servant with chores."
Yu Holea touched a spot where her heart was and frowned.
She pressed it so that the pain was feeling in her heart could subside.
She also drank a cup of water to lessen the pain she was feeling in her neck.
After 2 minutes when she felt good, she said in a plain tone,
"I can compensate you with money but I can’t agree to your request of staying in the Yu Mansion."
Mrs. Yu instantly said,
"We don’t have money."
"So do you lack servants?" Yu Holea asked.
Becoming a servant was indeed too much for Yu Holea.
