"Impossible! Absolutely impossible! This is utterly absurd!"

"Um... Mr. Shadow, are you sure you’re not joking? Our records indicate you have a sense of humor, but given the cultural differences between East and West, I can’t tell if you’re trying to lighten the mood or genuinely discussing this matter..."

In the office, Kelly and William, who seems to have a lot of trust in Wu Liang by now, were both in a state of turmoil; one was cursing, while the other was extrely perplexed.

Just a mont ago, this hero from the distant Huaxia civilization briefly ntioned his plan.

But the plan was so ridiculous, it seed like trying to execute a Fierce Ghost with a toy gun—a plan they simply couldn’t comprehend.

Watching the two of them seemingly on the verge of a breakdown, Wu Liang just shrugged and said, "Everyone, I’m not joking. Based on current speculations, this is the most hopeful way I see to solve the problem, and I certainly can’t do it alone."

"..."

"..."

Faced with the resolute statent of this Huaxia youth, Kelly and William were silent.

They exchanged glances and saw in each other’s expressions a mix of helplessness, confusion, and even anger.

About half a minute later, William sighed and said, "I personally have no objections, but I need to seek the opinions of my companions. After all, it’s very hard to accept."

"Suit yourself, but I must remind you, if you delay too long, this plan might not work. After all, you don’t know when you might be completely Forgotten."

With that, Wu Liang turned and left the office.

Afterwards, like a visitor, he wandered around the Demon Extermination Association’s temporary base, taking it all in.

He certainly knew his plan was a bit absurd.

But that wouldn’t shake Wu Liang’s confidence in his plan.

As soone with the world’s most absurd power, Wu Liang knew all too well— the more absurd the power, the more it requires an absurd solution.

So next, with a bit of Mist Ghost ability activated for concealnt, Wu Liang witnessed the most ridiculous eting announcent in the history of the Demon Extermination Association.

And the most intense and disorderly argunts among the Association mbers.

The morning chill in Paris was a bit biting.

Following a night of light rain, the roadside vegetation appeared sowhat glistening with moisture, and many who drunkenly fell asleep by the roadside were awakened by the cold.

Fortunately, not long after, around noon, the scorching sun’s rays poured down.

From the day the second Supernatural Calamity struck, people went a long ti without seeing the sun.

Endless darkness lood over the world like the despair in humanity’s heart.

Fortunately, this condition didn’t last long before disappearing, and the sun reappeared months later, shining like hope.

Now, it seems nothing has changed except the more frequent and stronger appearances of Fierce Ghosts.

Provided that the truly country-destroying Fierce Ghost hasn’t erged yet.

But it has arrived now, though most people haven’t realized the crisis.

Pedestrians on the street just felt the air freshened after the sun ca out and took the rare good day as a chance for a walk, finding it enjoyable.

In this city referred to as the Romantic Capital, the bustling main thoroughfare gradually beca crowded with people.

"Ah! What is that!"

Suddenly, a scream shattered the romantic atmosphere that should have filled the Parisian streets.

This piercing high-pitched scream almost could break through the clouds, akin to shouting "beauty" by the roadside.

Most people instinctively turned back and looked in the direction the sound ca from.

What they saw was unforgettable for a lifeti—

In the center of the newly expanded roadway in Paris, a group of people wearing various bizarre costus seed to appear out of thin air.

They included, but were not limited to, a burly man with a scruffy beard dressed as a pink Christmas candy cane, a figure covered in various paintings like a dwarf straight out of a fairy tale, a curvaceous but terribly made-up woman leaving people unsure which part of her body was more unsettling, and a man who painted his entire body silver and was writhing on the ground...

In short, it was a group both "eye-searing" and irresistibly curious about what other ridiculously dressed individuals were present.

They held hands, blocking the entire road, preventing any vehicles from passing.

Amidst the honking horns and cursing drivers behind them, the group began to move.

With ashen faces, they slowly advanced forward, displaying a variety of eerie, strange dances all along the way like a chaotic devil’s dance.

To put it nicely, people didn’t quite understand what kind of performance art this was; to put it rudely, it was a visual and ntal assault.

Every bystander curious enough to turn their head regretted it in the next mont.

But before regretting, they clearly saw the signs hanging on the perforrs.

On them, in extrely formal font and conspicuous colors, was the word—Demon Extermination Association!

"Sister Kelly, I want to die; once we reach the end of the road, just shoot ," said the strong girl dressed as a witch, holding two squeaky chickens, in despair.

But when she turned, she saw tears welling up in Kelly’s eyes.

Because she was now a rotting leek, dancing abstract choreography.
