"Interesting, are you saying all of our transactions with the [Black Market] have been completely returned?"

In a top-floor eting room of a certain tall building, a man in a suit sitting at the head of the table frowned and rhythmically tapped the docunts on the table with his fingers.

The remaining five people in the eting room looked at each other, each sighing helplessly as they glanced down at the reports in their hands and nodded.

"Wu, from the production departnt to the sales departnt, from the research departnt to the equipnt departnt, every departnt’s transactions with the [Black Market] were indeed rejected, even those ongoing cooperative projects they returned, this has caused many of our projects to get stuck suddenly."

"What’s going on with the [Black Market]? Aren’t we their leading big custor? Isn’t it stupid to not earn money?"

"Wu, what do you think their purpose is for doing this?"

"..."

The people below were talking in a chaotic manner about this major transaction accident.

They, the [Awakening Association], as the currently top-ranking private organization in terms of strength and number of Awakened mbers.

Every month, an unknown number of transactions were conducted with the [Black Market], and the transaction volu was simply outrageous!

In such a situation, there was no reason for the opposite side to stop cooperating with them!

"I suspect soone is trying to trip us up; you five have the afternoon to investigate in your respective departnts if anyone has offended soone, go!"

The man referred to as Wu sitting at the top was now having a headache, he really hadn’t expected such an inconceivable thing to happen suddenly.

To be honest, Wu really hoped right now that it was an employee in so departnt who offended the wrong person.

If so, then at least the target isn’t the entire [Awakening Association].

He could completely handle it with layoffs, compensation, or even dismbering the offending employee and sending them over as an apology, and it wouldn’t matter.

But if it wasn’t an employee’s issue, then this transaction accident is very strange.

"Damn it, better not be what I think!" Wu only took out his phone from his pocket after everyone left the eting room.

With a heavy heart, he dialed a number only he knew.

Beep—

The ringtone had barely sounded before it was imdiately connected, showing the importance the person on the other end attached to his call.

"Hello! Old Xing, how’s the goods on your side? No problems, right? The seller didn’t make any demands or ntion returns, right?"

Listening to his boss’s sowhat anxious voice.

The man on the other end, called Old Xing, was quite puzzled and confusedly asked: "No problem! The goods are all fast asleep in the warehouse, shipping this afternoon, what’s up, Wu?"

Upon getting a clear answer, Wu finally breathed a sigh of relief.

It seems the problem was only with those legal transactions under the [Awakening Association]’s na, while his private businesses were not affected.

"Whew...no problem, just be careful with your business over there in the near future, there’s a problem on our side, I’m worried soone is targeting us." Wu said extrely seriously.

Before Old Xing could respond, Wu changed his tone and continued,

"Eh, never mind, where’s the shipnt this afternoon, I’ll personally handle this transaction, after it’s done, don’t ship out again for a while until I figure out the issue on my end." Wu’s voice sounded a bit deep.

As the leader of the [Awakening Association], he was neither a nice person nor a fool.

Once those departnt leaders clear up this afternoon and it’s found not to be due to personal reasons causing the [Black Market] to stop transactions, then there are basically only two possibilities left—

Either the [Black Market] itself had problems, terminating transactions here out of helplessness, but being the largest trading organization in the country, the likelihood of them having problems is very small.

Or a character or organization whom the [Black Market] cannot defy has stepped in.

And now in this sensitive period, the only one capable of achieving this is none other than the [official] above!

He couldn’t know yet why they were targeting the [Awakening Association], but at least preparations must be made in advance to understand the situation as much as possible and minimize losses.

Even if the open-faced industries and transactions encountered problems, they could still rely on existing resources to persist for a long ti.

But those shady transactions belonging to Wu himself, once caught, it would beco a huge affair!

"Eh eh, okay, Wu, the place for this afternoon’s transaction is at Mingjing Pier, when will you co over, I’ll have soone prepare to welco you." Old Xing said respectfully.

"Four-thirty, don’t make it too grand, you co pick up personally."

"Hmm hmm, no problem."

Beep—

With that, the call ended.

Old Xing trembled as he carefully placed the phone on the table, swallowing as he looked at the extrely sharp gray-white blade pressed against his forehead.

His violent trembling had already caused his skin to break slightly, showing the sharpness of the blade.

Breathing heavily, he looked at the mysterious figure in front who might stab him at any mont.

He cautiously said,

"Friend, I’ve done as you asked, could you let off as big people show rcy, if not, expose , let do a few years in jail, I promise I won’t do such bad things anymore..."

"Hmm? What did you say?"

The other party said impatiently.

Frightened, Old Xing quickly shut his mouth, forcing out a fawning smile, "Nothing, nothing, what I an is, is there anything else you need to do?"

By this ti, Old Xing was already cursing inside.

If he could take this guy, he would love to chop him into pieces!

But thinking of this, he couldn’t help but recall everything that just happened, shivering uncontrollably.

In just a few breaths, he was the only one left breathing in the entire factory.

From the mont he heard his n shouting "enemy attack," to when the whole battle ended, he didn’t even see how this mysterious person acted at all.

The other side rely strolled leisurely in through the main gate.

Then his n began dropping, bleeding from their seven orifices one after another, even those hidden or on duty in the underground warehouse were no exceptions.

The image was eerily chilling!

The mysterious person’s face wore a Sun Wukong mask, looking sowhat comical, yet he walked over patches of thick blood with the elegance and violence akin to a Satan erging from Hell.

He just walked up to him like that, put a Sharp Sword against his forehead, and said, "When your boss calls later, just pretend nothing has happened, understand?"

How could he not understand this!? Brother killed over a hundred of us upon eting—I’d have to be an idiot to say I don’t understand!
