It's been a full two hours since Hazati sparked blue flas outside Utopia No. 2 Village.
No surprise under the one-hour buff modification by the Ghost Compendium on the Fierce Ghost Minions, blue-fla beasts in other villages were quickly subdued.
Just like in the No. 2 Utopia Village, many people in other villages chose not to carry the Hate Fuel upon receiving it.
The first hour was spent suppressing the blue-fla beasts, while the second hour gathered these people into No. 2 Utopia Village.
The ans though...
Might not be so gentle.
After all, other villages didn't have Wu Liang for persuasion. The Fierce Ghost Minions only knew to bring people over—whether these Ghost Valley old mbers resisted didn't matter at all. Anyway, everyone was there on ti.
"Damn, I was hiding well in the cellar, and a taxi Ghost Driver dragged out and forced to get in. What's this about?"
"Heh, you were lucky. I was flown over with my head caught by a red Oil Paper Umbrella. Almost twisted my head off in the sky! Hey, don't move... my neck still hurts!"
"Oil Paper Umbrella? Ghost Driver? I was electrocuted all the way here by a blue bird! Kept shocking my backside with every step I took!"
"..."
At the foot of the Sacred Mountain in Utopia No. 2 Village, dozens of old Ghost Valley mbers were chattering about their recent experiences.
Most of them didn't know what happened. They were forcibly brought over by several Fierce Ghosts.
Yet, it was exactly this situation that raised questions in many minds.
Who could control Fierce Ghosts? Making them act without injuring anyone?
Since Mr. Ghost Valley's passing in Chengyang City, they've never seen such obeying Fierce Ghosts.
"Cough cough! Quiet down!"
Suddenly, an uncle ca out from the Sacred Mountain cave, cleared his throat, and loudly shouted through a loudspeaker at the chattering crowd below.
At the sight of him, instead of quieting down, the discussion got even louder.
"Hmm? Isn't this Li the Fourth? Were those Fierce Ghosts his thods?"
"Never heard of it! Could Mr. Ghost Valley have left behind an Artificial Ghost?"
"..."
The Li the Fourth ntioned was obviously one of the group who led the sealing of Hate Fuel into a jar.
Seeing his companions so undisciplined, Li the Fourth couldn't help but recall when Mr. Ghost Valley was leading them.
That was orderly, every action had a purpose, everyone united for their ideals, moving forward.
Indeed, soone must lead us!
"Let say it again! Quiet!"
As Li the Fourth shouted once more, the surrounding Fierce Ghost Minions radiated their powerful ghostly aura without holding back.
All were Red Robe Level, and several were even City-Destroying Level.
In just an instant, the crowd fell silent.
Li the Fourth smirked satisfactorily and began to speak seriously.
"Everyone has suffered losses under the blue-fla beasts; many companions sacrificed mysteriously, I believe none of you are fools, you can guess it's the Pioneer's abandonnt of us!"
"Before explaining the origins of these Artificial Ghosts, I'll first tell you a truth!"
"About the true story of Mr. Ghost Valley's passing in Chengyang City..."
Inside the cave, Wu Liang listened to Li the Fourth's speech outside, surprised by his eloquence.
His first sentence directed everyone's hatred towards the Pioneers, as the influence of the blue-fla beasts indeed left everyone fearful.
Then he ntioned the Fierce Ghost Minions' presence, reminding other old mbers of the forr leader, Ghost Valley.
Finally, he clarified the "truth" Wu Liang had fabricated to everyone.
Especially seeing rows of Fierce Ghost Minions poised like guards, other Ghost Valley old mbers had to believe everything Li the Fourth said.
Because, in their understanding, only Mr. Ghost Valley could freely control such a number of powerful Artificial Ghosts!
Even the Pioneers couldn't!
"This here is our new leader—Mr. Mask!"
With that, Wu Liang stepped out from the cave, wearing the Nightmare Mask, observing the crowd below.
He softly said, "People foolishly fear the supernatural, considering it an apocalyptic threat, ignorant that prosperity is near. Yet, at this pivotal mont of transition, the Pioneers view us as abandoned ones, ignoring Mr. Ghost Valley's integrity, even attempting to obliterate us!"
"Folks, can you tolerate?"
Those four words instantly fueled the anger of all Ghost Valley old mbers downhill.
Tolerate? Of course not!
They joined the Promised Land organization with Mr. Ghost Valley to witness and initiate humanity's entry into the supernatural era!
Not being recognized by the outside world was one thing, but now even being persecuted by another leader within the organization.
What is this all about!?
Seeing them start to clamor below, Wu Liang nodded with satisfaction.
The sound from his Nightmare Mask seed to have magic, making people involuntarily believe, and he boldly declared:
"Great! Now, as Mr. Ghost Valley's direct disciple, under the na Mask, and by the title of Supernatural Calamity, let's establish this Utopia as our new base!"
"We will fight against the Pioneers! Against the whole world!"
"We will beco those who herald the supernatural era, etching our legacy in history forever!"
"We'll welco prosperity and finally reach the milk-and-honey flowing Promised Land!"
Wu Liang's speech fired up the Ghost Valley old mbers below; at this mont, no one doubted his identity.
Everyone was elated, imrsed in the joy of finally having soone stand out to lead their supre beliefs forward again.
And hidden in the cave, listening to Wu Liang deceive everyone outside, Ah Yimu's expression shifted from initial shock to resignation.
She found herself increasingly unable to grasp Saintess Yao's peculiar son.
Wu Liang displayed diverse extre personalities: humble and polite, cruel and brutal, cold and unfeeling, kind and gentle.
Now she noticed he even had the potential of a Ponzi sche leader.
She had no idea what his true nature was.
Or perhaps... none of these are his true nature?
Does he really know who he is?
