I went to a corner on the side, where not many people were there and waited for the ritual to begin.

Soon, Ayesha appeared on the stage, where a giant statue of the goddess of life was placed.

She was in her usual dark attire of a saintess. Followed behind her were many other believers of goddess of life.

Ayesha walked in front of all of them and skimd through the crowd. Her gaze then landed on .

'You are alone? Where is Setsuna?'

Mother had already inford her that I will be coming with Setsuna.

'She is gone.' I replied.

'Gone? Is she out? How careless of her? Nevermind, you can go upstairs and stay inside my chamber, I will t you there soon. I will help you in your awakening there.' She said.

She must be worried about . Awakening is a rather sensitive topic, even those who show much progress and are thought to awaken highly, might end up getting a low grade core.

But I don't care about it. I am sure, I will awaken a good... no, i am sure I will awaken the highest one. And why do I think that?

I have faith in myself. With the way that even God's are trying to stop , there is no way I will be soone ordinary.

"I thank you all for being present in this awakening ceremony." Then Ayesha began the awakening ritual with her speech.

"I, the saintess of the goddess of life, will be hosting the awakening ceremony of this year. As you all are already aware of, for awakening, you would have to be present inside the awakening circle where the mana in nature will be concentrated in a single point of your body forming the mana core.

"Now, with the blessings for the goddess of life, I will officially begin the process of awakening. We have already registered all the nas of young ones who will be taking part in this awakening ritual. I will call their nas one after another and will hold the ceremony in that sequence.

"I hope, whatever core you awaken, you will always work for making this planet better and will aid in the prosperity of our being."

It was finally starting now.

"Now, the first person whom I would like to call is..."

Ayesha then began to call all the people's who were here for awakening.

One after another, they walked at the circle, receiving their awakening.

"Yeah, I awakened a gold core."

"I-i only awakened a bronze one."

So of them were happy to receive their core while others hope were crushed.

In this world, the core ranges from bronze, silver, gold as the lowest and most common ones to rare cores, such as legendary, Supre and Mythical.

[There is one above them all, husband. But if am afraid, that core has been forgotten in the long history of ti.]

Which one?

I asked, intrigued.

[I also knew about it after I reached my godhood. There is a core which is above all the mana cores... that is the Godly core.]

[We call it that, because only the origin gods had that kind of core.]

[Even i only have a mythical core.]

Bronze one is actually deed useless because it is not guaranteed for you to beco even a mid tier mage or a Knight.

Only the gold ones have a good future ahead of them. But till now there hasn't been anyone to have legendary core.

I wouldn't go on to hope that soone will awaken a Supre core. That is very very rare. If I recall correctly, Ayesha have a Supre core too and she was considered a genius, though she is.

After few hours of awakening ceremony. It finally felt like, all the common people were done.

Now it was ti for the nobles.

Even I heard about the awakening ceremony in my past life, I wondered why they actually did the ritual for commoners first? Shouldn't the nobles get it first? Using their influence?

At that ti I had no idea about the ritual at all. The reason why nobles go after commoners is commoners mostly get low rank core which do not require much ti to awaken, but nobles... they awaken high ranking cores, which requires a lot of ti to awaken as the mana needed for that is quite high.

"Now if would like to proceed to the next one..."

And after she was finished with all the people on first floor(beside ), she began to call the nas from second floor.

Everyone who had been waiting for this mont straightened their backs and were looking forward to the real show that is about to begin.

And the first one that ca, awakened a gold core.

And then ca second and third and soon on...

Every single one of them awakened a gold core.

The onlookers were still eagerly waiting for more, even though the awaken of the nobles wasn't much different.

But then ca the next one.

"Next one is Elrick Fiderstone."

A young man with red hair and a self centered personality walked towards the stage.

Fiderstone? Why do I feel like I have heard of them before?

He walked inside the circle, mana soon surrounded him and he awakened. His awakening took the longest ti till now.

He opened his eyes with a smirk and looked at everyone in the crowd.

With a proud look, he said a single word,

"Legendary."

It wasn't hard to figure out that he had awakened a legendary core.

He shocked all the onlookers. This was what they all have been waiting for.

Finally a beast had awakened among the young generations.

Soon, the chatter began to start among the crowd.

"He awakened a legendary core."

"Yeah, it is just like his fathers. His father just beca a transcended person too. So he is going to ascened one day as well."

"Now this makes more eager to see what that dragon girl will awaken."

"Yeah, I bet it won't be lower than a Supre one."

"Only a handful of people have that, but I have faith in my goddess."

"Calm down, bitch. She is a minor."

The sa two dudes from the entrance comnted on the awakening just now.

Did they just say 'like his father' who just ascended?

The only one who ascended just now... wasn't it that cunt?

He had a son? I didn't know.

So that's why I felt as if I have heard that na before.

Now with the awakening of first legendary core, all of them looked forward to that lizard's daughter.

I also had my curiosity raised by this. I would also like to see what she will awaken.

I was so imrsed on the ceremony that i didn't realize that a pair of dark eyes with slit pupils were looking at from one of the rooms from second floor.

Inside that room, her eyes were hinting curiosity.
