"Shall I teach you sothing else too, young master?"

I turned to her, looking at her with puzzlent. Is she asking to teach a rune?

Then as if understanding what I was about to ask her, she responded,

"Do you know, Ravi, there are many different mysteries in this world?"

But rather than telling what she was about to teach , she asked a question. And the na she spoke of 'Ravi' is the one that has been bestowed upon . Strangely or coincidentally enough, that is actually my na before I transmigrated.

"Like what?"

"For example, the runes that you are drawing. Isn't it fascinating? With just a few strokes from a brush, you can create things? This might not be that special in our world filled with magic, but this is definitely fascinating or even unbelievable to the people who have never been exposed to magic."

She was correct, the first ti I saw soone using magic, I was shocked and couldn't understand what they were doing.

But what is she trying to say?

"Oh, did I make you confused? I apologise. I just wanted to tell you that you still do not know many things. Have you heard about summoning before?"

Summoning? I have heard about them before, but i have yet to witness that.

"No." I said.

Hearing , she nodded her head and began to explain sothing.

"This is sothing that has been followed from a very long ti, a fairytale kind of story that I used to hear often in my hotown. It goes like, many many eons ago, the ancestors from every race ca together and to maintain peace among themselves, they ford a pact and that is to receive help from another race when needed, but with an offering for the said help, which now is called summoning.

"There are different forms of summoning, an instant summoning where people offer things and receive help, there is also a different form of summoning, that requires the essence of a person to summon the other creature and another one where two beings form a pact, where one is a master and other is a servant."

She quickly explained the forms of summoning to . But that didn't end there, and after explaining all that, she asked ,

"Do you wish to learn the summoning rune?"

As the na said, it is the rune that is used to summon a creature, but from what she said just now... is she saying that any creature can be summoned?

But more than that, rune masters can do such things and they are still so backed up? Like co on dude, are the people living here so retard?

But thinking back on it, they actually are.

"Can I summon anyone?" I asked.

She humd for a bit and replied to be after a few seconds,

"Not everyone though, only the creatures who wish to be summoned. Inside every creature, there is a thing we call path, that links us with each other, once you willingly wish to get summoned, that path works then and let's you be summoned."

So that's how it works. If there is such a good thing, then why would I not learn that.

"Will you teach ?" I asked, excited.

She smiled a little at and said, "Of course."

'This path will be the only thing that will link us now, I do not have much ti to spend with you, my coward brother. How i wish to spend all of my life with you, but they... they are calling for .'

Outskirts of the palace, Eleanor was waiting for the arrival of Ayesha.

And soon enough, a big flying chariot lead by two majestic looking big birds landed near her.

It was a chariot which scread of royalty and elegance.

Only one person was inside that flying chariot, and it was none other than the person Eleanor was waiting for.

Ayesha exited from the chariot, her eyes fell at the direction of Eleanor, a small smile carved onto her face.

Eleanor also responded her with a smile.

"I didn't expect you would co to pick up?" Ayesha said, her tone a bit playful.

"Don't take this wrongly, I am just out to have so fresh air. I do not intend to see the face of soone who abandoned her friend, who has just given birth, and return after a year."

Eleanor replied to her, with the sa teasing tone. They both looked at each other and giggled. Any onlookers will think of them as just two close friends.

"I apologise for that, the situation outside was so chaotic that I did not get ti to visit you at all. After the prophecy of the holy mother, all the factions are in turmoil."

"Was it that serious?" Elwanor asked.

Ayesha's face turned grim and she said,

"Yeah, it is. She prophesied about the great war that is coming soon, the sky will be painted red, the battlefield won't even have a little space for a flower to grow and one single man will be behind all of that. His majestic wings will cover the entire sky, no one will have the strength to stand against him, rising from the depth of hell, the demon shall be reborn, was the prophecy she ntioned."

Hearing the prophecy, Eleanor gulped down. She might have fucked up big ti.
