{Any developnt, whether positive or negative, doesn’t matter?} Nova asked as one of her nanomachine bodies materialized next to Ayaka and Lee, who were analyzing the Emperor. He had been in a ditation position for more than seven hours, enduring excruciating pain.
“Although I might be the embodint of Laifu, the knowledge part of it is still a mystery to , sothing that I have to slowly discover through my own effort. I am yet to be at a level where I can find a solution to the current situation. I can only nourish him and reduce his pain, but my mana is not infinite, and I can’t sustain that forever. It should, however, reduce the pain enough for us to be able to hear a solution he might have co up with,” Ayaka suggested after opening her eyes and breaking her ditation.
She had mirrored the Emperor, trying to observe what was happening in his body, but wasn’t getting the clearest of images. It seed like his body’s abundant vitality, which kept replenishing constantly as it was being corroded, acted like a floodlight to her senses, requiring her to focus extrely hard to even be able to take a peek behind it. But even after managing a small peek, she still had no solution.
“We can try to create a new body, move his soul there, and destroy the current body to bring an end to the suffering,” Lee suggested before taking a step back when he received a death glare from both of them.
“I was just giving my suggestion. There is no bad idea, only an unfit one,” Lee said as he took another step back, raising his hands to his chest level to create a buffer between him and them. From the looks they were giving him, it wouldn’t be surprising if they jumped on him at any mont.
{Try to calm him, and let’s see if he has one, as he knows his body better than anyone. As for mana, don’t worry, we have an infinite amount of it,} Nova said, allowing Ayaka to go with the soothing option to give Aron a breathing room. She knew if she could do that, a solution could be found, as the Emperor was soone who always ca up with solutions in the most complicated of situations, and this ti, she believed it wouldn’t be any different.
At the sa ti, mana started being pumped inside Ayaka’s suit to the point that it beca tangible. Her body absorbed it like a starved desert, causing her to accidentally moan from the ecstasy she was feeling before she was able to control herself and focus back on the main situation.
“Let give it a try then,” she said after coughing to ward off the awkwardness. She closed her eyes and started channeling her life-aspected mana into Aron’s body.
“ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Ayaka scread as she felt the rebound from the Emperor’s body, which seed to be in a full defensive mode, shutting down any and all attempts at infiltration. It was already dealing with another problem and didn’t welco anything else.
{“What happened?”} Both Lee and Nova asked her, caught by surprise, as her scream was the last thing they expected.
In terms of strength, she was in the top ten in the empire. Although her abilities were not for combat, she could outlast anyone, as her body and soul instantly regenerated, no matter the attack. But that didn’t an she didn’t have avenues of attack, as she could drain the life force from anyone she ca in contact with, physically or even through their mana, making her difficult to kill. Attacking her ant giving her access to your mana, and through it, she could just absorb all of your life and leave you for dead.
So, if even she failed, it ant the matter was very serious.
“His body is blocking access to and even retaliated, despite it sensing no malice from ,” Ayaka said as she looked at Aron as if he were the most frightening person she had ever seen.
She knew better than anyone that at the mont, the Emperor was fully focused on containing the pain and looking for a solution, while at the sa ti making sure to not go crazy, as that would spell doom for the empire as a whole. It was very clear that the defensive reaction was not sothing deliberately done by the Emperor but by his body’s automatic defenses, aning they had managed to distinguish her mana and retaliate in an effective but limited way, to act as both a warning while also not dealing enough damage to put her in an irrecoverable state. This made her scared of what type of automatic defenses the Emperor’s body had.

Aron’s eyes, which were closed but still focused on the system screen, finally showed so reaction as a different sentence appeared.
He was confident that the reason the system was taking this long to find the solution was that its consciousness was not yet awake, aning it had an incomplete ntal frawork. With the complexity of the current problem, it had to go through infinite possible solutions, looking for the effective one fitting his current situation, and that was taking ti.
But it seed a few hours that felt like a few millennia were enough ti for it to find a possible solution.
So, amidst his excruciating pain, he looked at the screen that showed nothing but dots, waiting for the next sentence. After about five minutes, it finally appeared.
[Recalculating... The only solution on hand has been found...........]
[Solution: Viable]
[Would you like to receive the solution? Warning! If you click YES, then you will have to go through with it.]
[YES] [NO]
Upon reading the question and the warning, Aron paused for a mont, wanting to take so ti to consider the potential reason why the system would give him a warning, which was sothing he had never seen. But the pain that increased in intensity didn’t allow for that. He knew that with each passing mont, his ntal defenses were getting chipped away slowly, and the mont he couldn’t hold it in and snapped, it was not going to bode well for the planet he was on. Worst of all, it was the empire’s military headquarters.
[YES,] he clicked yes with urgency, deciding to accept the potential aftermath of going through with this decision and bracing himself for the worst.
