Reo continued running, his breaths shallow but steady, weaving through alleyways until he finally reached a small industrial zone far from the chaos. The streets were silent except for the distant hum of helicopters and the faint crackling of broadcast drones.

A crowd had begun to form near the Union facility, recording the unfolding chaos with their devices. Reo, still hidden in the shadows, glanced up just as a sleek black aircraft descended.

From its side hatch stepped a man in a sharp, refined black Union suit, his blond hair combed neatly, and piercing blue eyes that seed to glow with presence.

"R-Ryzen...! That’s really Ryzen!"

Even the crowd, so of whom despised the Union’s corruption, couldn’t help but whisper in awe. Ryzen wasn’t just a rank-A powerhouse — he was a national icon, one of the so-called "Soon New Seven Pillars of Humanity." To see him appear ant things had truly escalated.

Reo felt his skin crawl at the sheer weight of Ryzen’s aura, even from such a distance. It was suffocating. "So much for stealth..." he muttered, retreating even deeper into cover until the people below looked like distant ants.

But now, everything rested on the clone.

High on the second floor of the Union facility, hidden in a small blind spot, the clone Reo had left behind watched silently. It held sothing in its hand — sothing glowing faintly with unstable power. Caras from all angles zood in.

"That—! That’s the guy! He’s holding—wait, is that...?"

"Is that a Union executive’s head?!"

Even the broadcasters were panicking, their voices filled with disbelief. The crowd erupted into gasps, and Ryzen’s eyes narrowed as he looked up.

The clone took a single step forward, holding up the bloodied and barely recognizable face of Marquel, one of Union’s high-ranking researchers.

Then, with a sharp, clear voice, the clone Speaks.

"We are Requiem Star. From today forward, we will bring justice to the forgotten and deliver retribution to the corrupt."

Gasps echoed through the streets.

Marquel’s severed head hit the ground with a dull thud, rolling lifelessly as if symbolizing the fall of Union’s untouchable elites. The public,

long suffocating under unfair taxes and silent oppression, now stood in stunned silence — eyes wide, hearts uncertain. They had heard rumors, seen suffering, but never imagined this kind of open defiance.

Up above, Ryzen didn’t move, but a sharp breath escaped his lips. "Justice, huh...?" he muttered coldly. His tone was unreadable — not anger, not approval — just amusent... and the faintest hint of curiosity.

Far away, deep in the outskirts, Reo exhaled.

He had already left the facility by then. Everything his clone said was a lie. Justice? Retribution? He barely believed in such things anymore. That speech was for the people — to stir their emotions. To plant a seed of doubt in the Union’s image.

But sothing had changed.

Just as the clone vanished, he felt a ripple in his chest. It wasn’t physical — it was internal. Sothing was evolving.

[Clone Ability Breakthrough!] [Tier:Beginner → Apprentice] [Clone Limit Increased: 1 → 2] [Overall Stats of The Clone will be More than The host by 1.5x]

Reo blinked. A small grin tugged at his lips. "Apprentice, huh... Now we’re getting sowhere."

Without wasting a second, he summoned two new clones. Their appearances mirrored him perfectly, but sothing about them — the spark in their eyes, the precision in their posture — made them look even more refined than his original self.

With the power surge, he sprinted nonstop for over an hour, heading back to the mansion. Without a limousine, his legs ached, and the night wind stung against his face, but he didn’t care. He was alive. And victorious.

But the mont he stepped through the gates, the sll of blood and ice hit him like a brick.

Dozens of bodies lay scattered across the marble floor. E-ranked guards — and even a couple of C- all frozen solid, their expressions twisted in agony. The luxurious mansion had turned into a winter graveyard. And in the center of it all, slumped against the wall, was Althea.

Her breathing was ragged. Her pale skin glistened with cold sweat, and her crimson eyes were barely open. Her power was nearly depleted — she had burned herself out fending off the ambush.

"Althea!" Reo darted forward, catching her as she collapsed.

She sighed softly and Coldy "Hmm~ Just right in Ti" She retreat into Reo’s soul space to recover.

His hands clenched. Rage, sharp and cold, surged in his chest.

They dared to attack while he was gone. The Union’s retaliation had co faster than expected. Maybe they found traces of the invasion. Maybe Marquel’s absence raised flags. Whatever it was — they retaliated fast.

His eyes Grew Extrely Dark.

Althea was Still useful and he had Grown quite Attached towards Her.

Hurting her won’t be tolerated.

Without pause, he fled the mansion. He knew they’d return. Union agents always investigated in waves. He had re hours — maybe less — before scouts or soldiers ca knocking.

His body was running on fus, his soul aching from the shared burden with Althea, but he didn’t stop. He pushed forward through back alleys, sprinting past silent hos, until finally, in the dead of night, he saw a large estate a forgotten manor owned by a known criminal.

The two clones acted imdiately.

Guards were posted E-ranked, maybe E but they were no match for him now. Within minutes, the estate was cleared. No rcy for the corrupt. Only the guilty were executed Reo made sure the innocent, the maids and children, were quietly ushered out.

In the final room, the man himself a known trafficker and killer begged on his knees. Reo said nothing. His blade answered for him.

This new base was no palace, but it would do.

Collapsed on a lavish bed, breathing heavily, Reo stared at the ceiling and summoned his system interface.
