Wang Zhan narrowed his eyes, and his expression quickly soured. He stared at the furnace in front of him, his gaze filled with cold severity.
Han Junxiong, at the side, was quietly watching him. Clearly, at this mont, Han Junxiong was also preparing to witness this historic event.
However, what Wang Zhan never expected was that the elixir in the furnace was gradually starting to solidify. However, the elixir's solidification speed was sowhat slow.
But for Wang Zhan, this was already comndable. After all, it was only his first ti refining elixirs. Achieving this result was already a significant improvent for him.
Han Junxiong, at the side, was constantly watching the furnace before him.
Wang Zhan squinted. Then, his hand seals changed, and the Fire Dragon in mid-air continuously converged into the furnace.
In the blink of an eye, the Fire Dragon inside the furnace had converged into a massive fireball, promptly engulfing all the dicinal ingredients within it.
However, there was no joy on Wang Zhan's face. After all, even though all the materials had converged, they were still resisting each other. If he could congeal all these materials further, the elixir before him would naturally be complete.
Wang Zhan slowly rose to his feet, then glanced at the furnace, his complexion becoming even more unpleasant. Clearly, no matter what ans he employed, he could not congeal all these materials.
Han Junxiong quickly walked to his side and asked, "It seems that refining these elixirs is not an easy task. Do you want
to invite Hu Lao out and let him properly guide you?"
Wang Zhan shook his head. After glancing in Hu Xianfeng's direction, he shook his head again and said, "Hu Lao also needs to recuperate properly. After all, during the previous battle, Hu Lao still suffered a certain degree of injury. His essence energy hasn't recovered yet, so naturally, I don't want to waste any more of Hu Lao's ti."
Han Junxiong slowly said, "In that case, it's best we study it first. After all, even though all the materials are now condensed together, we should only be one step away. If we reach that critical point, we should be able to refine the elixir successfully. So, if given so ti, you should be able to complete it."
Wang Zhan chuckled, shaking his head. He was well aware of the difference between himself and Hu Xianfeng. Although watching Hu Xianfeng refine elixirs made it seem incredibly easy, it was not a simple task for him. He couldn't even congeal all the materials now. Breaking through this critical point? How could it be easy?
But even so, Wang Zhan couldn't stop. After all, he needed to rendezvous with Xiang Tian, so naturally, he had to quickly master the Art of Alchemy.
Wang Zhan once again increased the power from his hands. The Fire Dragon within the furnace continuously road back and forth. But no matter what, those Fire Dragons could not congeal all the materials and dicinal ingredients.
Wang Zhan's expression changed. He once again increased the power from his hands. Subsequently, streaks of Fire Light appeared around his body, swiftly descending into the furnace.
In an instant, the entire furnace even started to vibrate.
Han Junxiong, startled, his expression turning ugly with fright. He rushed to Wang Zhan's side, grabbed his arm, and exclaid, "Are you insane? What do you think you're doing? If the furnace explodes, we'll be in trouble."
Wang Zhan, however, ignored him, continuously changing his hand seals while directing the flas he controlled into the furnace.
Suddenly, with a loud bang, the entire furnace began to shake violently.
The next mont, Wang Zhan felt a sharp pain in his chest, and then his entire body was sent flying backward.
Han Junxiong also scrambled aside in a sorry state, his face deathly pale. Even the clothes on his chest had been scorched by the flas.
Wang Zhan panted heavily. Looking at the dicinal ingredients and materials before him, now a scorched black ss, his expression turned grim. To think that all his efforts up to now would end in failure.
Han Junxiong quickly approached him, anxiously asking, "Are you alright?"
Wang Zhan weakly waved his hand and said, "I can still hold on."
But what surprised Wang Zhan was that the furnace before him was unscathed, still as hard as iron, without a single crack in sight. Clearly, it was a pretty decent item. After all, it was Hu Xianfeng's prized possession; how could its quality be so poor?
However, recalling the recent accident, Wang Zhan's expression turned somber. If that were to happen again, even this incredibly sturdy furnace probably wouldn't hold out for long.
anwhile, footsteps were heard from the room, and then Hu Xianfeng walked out.
By this ti, the courtyard was already a complete ss, charred black everywhere. Even the trees outside the courtyard had been affected to so extent. If Wang Zhan hadn't managed to shield the surroundings in ti, the house would likely have collapsed. After all, the force of such a sudden furnace explosion could have even killed Han Junxiong.
"What on earth happened? I just went to my room for a nap. Were you two planning to tear down my house?"
Hu Xianfeng's expression was utterly furious. He strode quickly towards Wang Zhan and Han Junxiong, then, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth, he said word by word, "I don't think you brat wanted to learn the Art of Alchemy! I think you were trying to blow up my house!"
Wang Zhan scratched his head and replied with a smile, "Well, wasn't it because I didn't control the heat properly? Besides, you never told
before that heat control was so crucial."
Hearing this, Hu Xianfeng was so angry his beard practically stood on end. He smacked Wang Zhan on the head and then said irritably, "Didn't I tell you the importance of heat control? And I rember you saying your grasp of heat control far exceeded others! That's why I confidently entrusted all of this to you. But look what you've done now! If I hadn't found out in ti, a couple more attempts like that and my house would have been completely demolished by you!"
Wang Zhan scratched his head and grinned sheepishly. After all, this Art of Alchemy isn't exactly simple; how could he possibly master it so easily? Naturally, he still needed to persevere and continue to develop his skills.
Han Junxiong also hurried over and said, "Hu Lao, please don't be angry anymore. I can see that Brother Wang is indeed very serious and wants to improve his ans quickly. We just never expected such a mistake to occur. Rest assured, I will stay by his side and absolutely ensure nothing happens to your house."
Hu Xianfeng shot him a glare. "You brat, stop playing innocent! Don't I know you two are colluding? I bet you two are closer to each other than either of you are to . But I don't care about that now. All I know is, if you two dare to demolish my house, you're done for!"
As he spoke, Hu Xianfeng walked directly to the furnace. He then waved his hand, and a suction force shot towards the furnace. Judging by his actions, he was clearly preparing to take the furnace away.
But Wang Zhan quickly moved to block him, asking, "Hu Lao, what are your intentions? Don't forget you already told
how to practice the Art of Alchemy! This was just a small accident, and you're going back on your word already? When I get a good furnace in the future, I'll give it to you imdiately. Even if I destroy this one, I'll definitely get you a better one later. You can rest assured, I always keep my word."
But Hu Xianfeng ignored him and continued with his actions.
Han Junxiong quickly ca over and said with a smile, "Hu Lao, just believe him. Even if he can't prepare a better furnace for you, I'll definitely find a way to get one for you."
Hearing this, Hu Xianfeng shot Han Junxiong a glare. "If that brat Wang Zhan says sothing like that, it might be sowhat excusable, and one could even believe him. But you, brat, what qualifications do you have to say such a thing? Based on your capabilities, how could you possibly get a better furnace? Do you have any idea how precious this thing is?"
Han Junxiong grinned awkwardly and said nothing.
Wang Zhan, on the other hand, walked over to Hu Xianfeng. He could tell that Hu Lao was actually just worried about his safety, not heartbroken over the furnace. After all, the furnace was just an inanimate object, but he himself was different. The two of them were companions who had weathered adversity together.
Wang Zhan patted Hu Xianfeng's shoulder, then leaned closer and said with a smile, "I suddenly thought of sothing. Are there any elixirs that are easier to successfully refine? Or perhaps, is there a thod to make elixirs more potent? As long as I can manage not to blow up the furnace, that would be good enough."
