Silas was stunned when he read the last rebate reward notification.
After the last system's level up and the ssage that said that the rebate rewards will be given in different forms, Silas was looking forward to it. Though he had no idea how the system planned to do it, he expected it to be sothing good, but what he saw now beats all his expectations.
".... Two buildings and two luxury sports cars.... Wow."
"This is amazing... This ans the more expensive things are, the better the rebate reward will be."
Silas also noticed sothing; there was no notification saying that he unlocked any new system's function.
"The functions the system has are not bad and I'm even yet to explore them more," Silas said to himself as he thought of the system's functions he unlocked previously.
"I will check them later, I should check my status screen and see what's the new system's level up requirent."

"New level up requirent.. raise all stats to that of an average human which is 10 all stats... Isn't this too easy?," Silas asked himself when he saw the new system's level up requirent.
Not that the other level up requirents were hard but this sounds too easy. With the system's exchange function, I can exchange money for system points and system points for stats points.
"Let do the calculation and see how much I would need to exchange," Silas said to himself with a smile and started doing his calculations.
"Strength needs 5 more points, Agility, 7, Stamina and Intelligence, 5, and Charisma, 6. Everything totals to 28 stats points.
What I need is 28 stats points and going by the system's exchange rate, to get 1 stats point, I need 1000 system points.
Then, 1000 x 28 is 28,000. So, I need 28,000 system points... How much would that cost, though?
$10,000 to get 1 system point and to get 28,000 system points, I need...," Silas said and paused, as he brought out his phone and opened its calculator app to do the sum.
You were expecting him to get the answer from his head? Tsk, your expectations are a bit too high.
Silas punched in the number and the calculator gave him the answer, $280,000,000.
"$280 million?! Sigh.. and I thought that l would be able to level up imdiately. What a bust," Silas said to himself, shaking his head.
"I guess it will take so ti before I level up again. $280 million is currently out of reach. I only have $23 million in my account, a very huge gap from the actual amount needed."
"Can I do it by working out? But I'm not really sure if it will work and even if it does, how long will it take to et the requirent?"
Silas decided to put his thoughts aside. He wants to increase the system's level so that he can see if there's any new function he can unlock, or if the system will beco sentient.
One might be curious as to why Silas wants the system to beco sentient. The reason is because he has a lot of questions he needs answers to, and all his answers lie with the system.
Silas was not naive enough to think that he just made a wish and boom, a higher dinsional being or god, or whatever it's called, gave him a system.
There's a saying that everything happens for a reason. Getting sothing of such imnse value is not free or soone doing charity.
"Getting a system in the modern world. How nice, dreamy and fantastical it sounds, but it's my reality."
Silas smiled and closed his status screen as he stood up from the bed, and went to the bathroom to take his bath.
Thinking of the buildings and cars he got as rewards from the system, Silas wanted nothing more than to rush down to Newport Beach and start checking them out, but he decided to put it off because it was already getting late.
Newport Beach is a city close to Oakland city. Though it's close, it will take him hours of driving to get there. 7 hours to be exact, and 6 hours 46 minutes to be precise.
After taking his bath, Silas changed into light clothes for the night and just as he was about to go to the living room, his phone started ringing.
He brought his phone and checked the caller's ID but he didn't see any na on it, indicating that it's an unsaved number.
"Who could possibly be calling ?," He asked himself, taking a guess on who the caller could possibly be.
Few seconds later, he picked the call.
"Hello. Please, who's this?"
" Silas. M it's , Chloe," A familiar female voice responded.
Silas was surprised when he heard the voice and na. Though it has been a while since they graduated from high school, he clearly rembers who Chloe is.
"Silas, are you there?," Chloe asked when she saw that Silas wasn't responding.
"Y-Yeah.. Sorry about that, I was just surprised getting your call," Silas replied.
"I figured. Well, I'm calling you because our class decided to hold a get-together and I was told to invite you."
"A get-together?... When and where is the location?"
"The ti is two days from now and the location is Midnight Pub. Also, Daniel and Layla will be there, you can decide not to co but if you insist on coming, make sure to put on so good clothes and do sothing about your confidence," Chloe said and hung up.
Silas couldn't help but smile wryly when he saw this.
'Chloe, she will never change but I have changed. I'm no longer the sa person as before. Daniel and Layla huh? I guess a little drama won't hurt...,' Silas said to himself with a smirk.
