Brandon glanced at George, his face filled with anger. After taking a deep breath, he didn't say anything more because he knew it was already too late.
"Are you alright?" Yelena, holding Connor, asked with a choked voice.
"What can go wrong with ?" he replied calmly.
"Don't lie to . I know everything. You're the Soul Eater, and I've seen what you've done..." she whispered softly.
He reached out and gently touched her head, then smiled and said, "You don't need to worry; I won't have any trouble."
"Knowing that you're fine is all that matters!" Yelena didn't ntion their breakup because, in her heart, there was only Connor. If he didn't want her around, she wouldn't be there, but she would never forget him, nor could she love anyone else.
"Why are you here?" She seed sowhat surprised that he had co to this event.
"I'm here in Eigona for so business," he replied.
"Oh..." Yelena nodded lightly. A disappointed expression flashed across her face, and then she instinctively glanced at Yvette and Alia, wondering what was on their minds.
Standing beside Connor, Alia smiled faintly and whispered, "But Mr. Connor ca to this event today just to see you."
"Really?" Yelena's heart lifted upon hearing this, and she eagerly asked Connor, "Is it true?"
"Yes," Connor nodded.
She was overjoyed to learn that he had co to see her. She hugged him even tighter, now that she knew he had made a special effort to be there for her.
The host of the event, Lord Wilber, realized that the relationship between Connor and Yelena was not ordinary. He had heard a lot about Yelena, including the fact that her boyfriend had a terrifying background.
So, after so hesitation, he walked over to Yelena and softly asked, "Miss Yelena, may I ask who this gentleman is?"
"This is my boyfriend, Connor!" Yelena didn't hesitate at all and replied straightforwardly.
The crowd fell into stunned silence upon hearing Yelena's words. They all stared wide-eyed at Connor's direction, their expressions filled with incredulity.
"What? This person is Yelena's boyfriend?"
"Wow, she already has a boyfriend?"

The crowd couldn't help but start whispering.
George couldn't help but laugh bitterly. "How is this possible? This guy is actually Yelena's boyfriend?"
Brandon also wore a puzzled expression. "It can't be true, right? Yelena already has a boyfriend?"

Brandon's expression appeared helpless upon hearing George's words.
