"Dad, can these people really stop Connor? I heard that this Connor guy is quite formidable..." Juan asked with fear.
"They can't stop Connor. Can you?" Yamino responded coldly.
Upon hearing this, Juan instantly closed his mouth and didn't dare to say another word.
Yamino took out his phone and dialed a number.
"How much longer until you get here?" he asked in a hushed tone.
"Fifteen minutes!" the person on the other end replied.
"Fifteen minutes is too long. We have a problem here. I'll give you ten minutes. If you can make it within that ti, I'll double the money I promised you!" he declared dominantly.
"Alright, I'll do my best!" the person replied briefly and hung up.
Yamino stared at the monitor with an expressionless face, his tension evident. He knew that if these guards couldn't hold off Connor for long, he might be in danger.
On the other side, Connor, Yolanda, and the others walked calmly into Trustar Mansion.
Inside Trustar Mansion, the guards were nervously watching Connor's movents. They had witnessed him easily dispatch several guards monts ago and were hesitant to confront him.
"Stop them at all costs! Mr. Yamino promised that our wages would double if we could hold them off!"
The captain of the guards suddenly rushed out of the villa, his expression filled with excitent.
Upon hearing the promise of doubled wages, the guards seed to go berserk, their eyes turning red as they charged toward Connor's position.
The number of guards inside the manor was overwhelming. Suddenly, nearly a hundred ard guards rushed toward him, making even Yolanda, who was aware of Connor's strength, sowhat astonished.
Although she knew how formidable he was, the sheer number of opponents was daunting. It seed like they were being overwheld by sheer force.
On the other hand, Yamino remained calm, and Taran asked fearfully, "Mr. Connor, can you handle all these people by yourself?"
"Yamino, protect the two of them!" Connor didn't reply to Taran but instead called out to Yamino.
"Yes, sir," Yamino calmly replied.
"If anyone can kill these people, there's a five-million reward from Mr. Yamino!" the captain of the guards shouted once more.
Hearing this, the guards seed to go even crazier, charging toward Connor's position.
Connor, seeing these guards approach again, wore an expression of helplessness. He couldn't fathom why these people were so easily manipulated by Yamino.
Knowing that he was using them to buy ti, Connor didn't intend to engage in a verbal confrontation. Instead, he released a terrifying aura once again.
In an instant, countless guards were sent flying.
"What kind of person is this?"
"Even if they were ancient martial masters, they wouldn't have such terrifying combat strength, would they?"
"What just happened?"
The guards stood in shock, unable to comprehend what had transpired. Fear and amazent filled their faces. They had no words to describe their current emotions.
The captain of the guards turned to Connor, his voice trembling. "Why are you all just standing there? Fire your guns! I don't believe we can't kill this guy!"
Only then did the guards rember they were ard. They raised their guns and aid at his position.
"Mr. Connor, be careful!" Taran hurriedly shouted to Connor.
He paid no attention to Taran's warning and continued walking forward.
"Da-da-da..."
The guards, unable to contain themselves any longer, began wildly firing their weapons in his direction. Countless bullets rained down on him.
These guards were equipped with highly specialized weapons, boasting trendous firepower. Moreover, with so many of them firing simultaneously, the scene was truly terrifying.
Even Yolanda, who was accustod to Connor's power, couldn't help but reveal a trace of fear, as she had never witnessed anything like this before.
