"Yes, as long as you make your woman, I will obey you. Whatever you ask to do, I will do it," Yolanda said with a serious expression.
"So, if I make you my woman, you won't follow anymore?" Connor asked Yolanda.
"Yes, as long as you promise to make your woman, you can make do anything, including not following you." She nodded quickly.
He took a deep breath and then said in a low voice, "Alright, well, you're my woman now, is that okay?"
"Is what you're saying true?" She hesitated for a mont and then asked softly.
"Of course it's true!" he replied, gritting his teeth.
"In that case, if I'm your woman, shouldn't you do sothing for ?" She seed a bit shy as she asked him.
"What should I do for you?" He was taken aback by her question and furrowed his brows. "What are you planning?"
"I an, things that a man should do for a woman..." she whispered.
"No, even though I admit that you're my woman now, I don't have any feelings for you. If there are no feelings, so things shouldn't be done. Do you understand what I an?" he said with frustration.
"But my master told that if you really liked , you would take the initiative to kiss . But it seems like you're not willing to do that now, which ans you don't actually like , so I haven't beco your woman!" she said earnestly.
"Never mind, forget it. If you want to leave, you can leave. If you want to stay, you can stay!" he exclaid in frustration.
Connor, exasperated by the situation, shouted and walked into the villa. Due to the death of Rachel's grandfather, she decided to stay in York for so ti to be with her grandfather.
At this mont, Rachel hadn't returned yet, which made Connor feel relieved. He didn't know how to explain the presence of Yolanda if Rachel saw her. Moreover, the thought of living together with two peculiar won gave him a headache.
His villa was quite spacious, with two guest rooms in addition to the rooms for Connor and Rachel. He intended to arrange for Yolanda to stay in one of the guest rooms.
"The environnt here might not be as good as the others, but it's still clean. Do you have any problems staying in this room?" he asked Yolanda softly after leading her to the guest room.
"Where are you staying?" She blinked her eyes and asked Connor.
"I'll be staying in the room next to yours," he replied, feeling sowhat exasperated.
"In that case, I want to stay in your room!" She turned and headed towards his room.
He looked at her, who had entered his room, with a speechless expression and said softly, "If you want to stay in my room, that's fine. I'll stay in the guest room. Besides, I don't really need sleep now. So, you don't have to worry about staying close to , unless you can also stay awake all the ti!"
"I see..." Yolanda seed a bit hesitant after hearing Connor's words. "Well, since you don't sleep, it doesn't matter where I stay. I'll go to the guest room then!"
With that, she turned and left his room.
Seeing her leave, he breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the bed with a tired expression. He had never expected that his trip would bring back such a big trouble.
While Yolanda might be inexperienced when it ca to matters of love, she was quite normal in other aspects.
After returning to her guest room, she decided to take a shower. Once she finished, she greeted Connor and then lay down on the bed to rest.
After all the commotion, she felt a bit tired.
Upon seeing Yolanda closing her room door to sleep, let out a long sigh. He then sat on the bed and entered a state of ditation and cultivation.
Following the intense battle with Walter, he didn't fall into unconsciousness as he had previously, but his internal energy remained highly unstable. It would take at least a week to fully stabilize his inner energy.
Unbeknownst to him, a whole morning had passed while he was in ditation.
At 8 AM, Yolanda, dressed neatly, entered Connor's room. She noticed that he was in the middle of ditation but didn't disturb him. Instead, she sat quietly by his side and waited.
She waited for the entire morning.
If it weren't for his ringing phone, he might not have realized that she had been waiting for him.
Answering the call, Connor heard Aida's voice. "Connor, I've already taken care of things on the Collier family's side. Do you have anything you need to do now?"
"So quick?" He was surprised.
"I've been managing the Collier family's businesses for a while now, and they should have heard about you killing Walter, so they're cooperating," she explained.
"Alright, what I need you to do now is to completely cut off all business dealings with the Goz family. I want to push the Goz family into a desperate situation," he said after a mont of thought.
"Understood, I'll give the order," she replied.
"If possible, I hope you can take control of the Goz family's illicit businesses, the ones that are kept secret. I want the Collier family to take over," he continued.
"This might be a bit challenging, but I'll give it a try," she responded.
She understood very well that the clients who had been cooperating with the Goz gamily were the ones who had been connected by Rockefeller. Moreover, after years of collaboration, both sides had developed a strong mutual trust. It would indeed be difficult to lure these clients away from them.
However, facing a challenge didn't an it couldn't be overco. As long as she could show enough sincerity and offer favorable terms, there was a chance to persuade so of them to switch alliances.
