"Carl, is that you?"
Connor weakly responded.
"Yes, it's !"
"Back then, I left a divine consciousness in your mind. If you were ever fatally injured, this divine consciousness would activate to save your life," explained Carl.
"In this situation, can you save ?" Connor asked, while still struggling against the tornt of the Fivefold Wound Formation.
"I cannot save you, but you can save yourself!" Carl whispered.
"What do you an?" Connor asked.
"The crucial part of this formation is the silk box in the sky. If you can destroy it, the formation will disappear with it!" Carl said directly.
"I can't move at all right now, let alone go and destroy that box..." Connor felt helpless.
"I can help you..." Carl replied faintly, and Connor suddenly felt a mysterious energy within his body.
"I didn't expect you to have an ace up your sleeve!" Connor couldn't help but smile when he sensed the mysterious energy.
"There's no other choice. You are the only hope for finding my true soul. I absolutely won't allow you to die like this!" Carl answered softly.
The next mont, Connor's body suddenly erupted in a blinding golden light.
The Cult Leader, who had thought it was all over, suddenly felt sothing amiss and turned to look.
He saw Connor's body soaring into the sky, heading straight for the silk box above.
At this mont, the Cult Leader realized that sothing was wrong and tried to intervene to stop Connor.
But it was too late. Connor, with the help of Carl's energy, reached the sky and shattered the silk box with a single punch.
As the box exploded, the Fivefold Wound Formation also disappeared.
The Cult Leader's expression turned terrifying because this formation was supported by the power of his soul. Now that Connor had destroyed the formation, the Cult Leader's soul was affected as well.
After destroying the Fivefold Wound Formation, Connor rushed towards the Cult Leader.
"Seven-Star Big Dipper Fist, TInfinite Paths!"
He roared, and his fist struck directly at the Cult Leader's soul.
The Cult Leader was instantly sent flying and crashed to the ground.
At this point, the Cult Leader's soul had beco extrely weak. While he hadn't been directly obliterated by Connor's punch, he had begun to blur and fade.
Previously, the Cult Leader's soul was virtually indistinguishable from a human body. It was impossible to see any differences with the naked eye.
But now, everyone could feel that the Cult Leader was no longer truly human.
"This person actually defeated the Cult Leader?"
"How is this possible? How could the Cult Leader be defeated?"
For a mont, everyone was in deep shock. Just a mont ago, they believed Connor had lost, but in the next mont, he had broken free from the Fivefold Wound Formation and severely injured the Cult Leader.

But the next mont, Carl took control of Connor's body.
His eyes turned crimson, and a massive vortex ford in front of him.
When the Cult Leader saw this vortex, he was left dumbfounded and scread in terror.
But no matter how hard he tried, this ti, he was undeniably dood.
Despite the Cult Leader's threats and pleas for rcy, his soul was gradually devoured by the vortex.
Everyone present was left in shock at the sight. Their expressions were filled with astonishnt, as they had never expected the Cult Leader of the Blood Moon Sect to be defeated by Connor.
After helping him consu the Cult Leader's soul, Carl returned his body.
"I've helped you devour his soul, but his soul energy is extrely unstable. You need to absorb this energy as soon as possible," Carl kindly reminded Connor.
"Are you in a hurry?" Connor felt that he had many things to do and didn't want to waste ti on these matters.
"His soul energy is incredibly powerful, and until you've fully absorbed it, his divine consciousness might appear in your brain. At that point, he might try to seize control of your body. Although the probability of this happening is small, you should still be cautious because your soul power is vastly inferior to his," Carl said before his voice gradually weakened and disappeared completely from Connor's mind.
"I understand..." Connor hesitated for a mont, then continued, "One more question. The Cult Leader ntioned that there are martial artists in this world even more powerful than Grandmasters. Do you think that's true?"
"It's definitely true. So, I believe there are martial artists in this world with higher realms than you," Carl said, sounding like he knew his ti was limited.
"I see. Do you think it's possible for to break through to the peak of Grandmaster?" Connor continued to inquire.
"If you absorb all of this person's soul energy, you should be able to beco a Heaven-ranked Grandmaster. As for you..." Carl's voice grew weaker until it disappeared completely from Connor's mind.
