Upon hearing Albert's words, Beau couldn't help but let out a cold laugh. He then said expressionlessly, "This Connor truly doesn't regard our Collier family highly. Rest assured, this matter won't be let go so easily. I will definitely find him to seek an explanation."

"His skills are not simple. If we try to deal with him through assassins, it won't be easy," Albert sighed softly.

"That's right, I underestimated him at first. I thought we could take care of him with a few assassins, but I didn't expect his progress to be so rapid. Even Maurice is not his match. It seems that I'll have to take matters into my own hands this ti," Beau said slowly.

"You... you intend to personally handle this?" Albert's expression appeared shocked, and he asked incredulously.

"Yes, given the current situation, I have no choice but to deal with it personally," Beau nodded lightly.

"Connor is a disciple of Jorge. If you truly harm him, Jorge won't let it go easily," Albert reminded cautiously.

"I'm currently no match for Jorge. If it cos to a showdown with him, I won't have much chance of winning. So, I don't plan to kill Connor. I'll teach him a lesson instead. This way, we can make our position clear," Beau explained.

"Teach Connor a lesson?" Albert was taken aback.

"What I'll do next is not sothing you need to concern yourself with. I have a plan. Your current task is to keep our Collier family mbers stable. No matter what happens to Cielo, Collier family must remain united," Beau said in a low voice.

"Alright, I understand," Albert conceded, although he was curious about Beau's plan to deal with Connor. He decided not to press for more information.

"Tit for tat. Connor, you've been targeting our Collier family at every turn. If I don't give you a taste of your own dicine, you might think that our Collier family is easy to bully," Beau murmured while looking out of the window.

After Albert exited the room, Beau continued to contemplate his plan.

On the other side, although Connor had boarded the flight to Yarlford, he remained cautious throughout the journey, constantly observing the people around him. He was worried that Collier family might continue to send assassins after him during the flight.

However, as the night passed, he realized that his concerns were unfounded. They did not make any further attempts on his life.

The next day, around nine in the morning, Connor's flight finally arrived in Yarlford.

After disembarking from the plane, he took a taxi back to his ho.

Despite the life-threatening ordeal he had faced in York, he also recognized the advantages. He now had complete trust in Aida, who could play a crucial role in his future plans.

Upon arriving ho, Connor noticed that Rachel was not there, probably attending her classes.

After spending the whole night without sleep and the intense battle with Zaki, his body was weak. He went into his room, rested, and fell asleep.

When he woke up, it was already past three in the afternoon.

Connor went to the bathroom for a quick wash, changed into clean clothes, and then drove to Stormbound Tower.

Due to Aida's situation, he had not been in touch with Queta for a while, and he was unsure about the current situation at the company.

Stormbound Tower had recently acquired a new piece of real estate, and the employees were working long hours to develop the property. Despite the heavy workload, the employees were well compensated, making Stormbound Corporation one of the highest-paying companies in Yarlford.

Upon arriving at Stormbound Tower, Connor noticed that Queta was in the middle of a eting in the conference room. He didn't want to interrupt her, so he decided to wait in her office.

While waiting, he couldn't help but pick up so of the docunts on her desk and perused them. Many of the docunts contained information that he couldn't fully understand.

He realized that he was fortunate to have brought her to Yarlford. If he had to handle all these matters himself, he would be completely overwheld. He had a newfound appreciation for the complexities of managing a company.

However, Connor's priority at the mont was dealing with the Collier and Goz families. With the threats they posed, he had little ti to focus on learning how to manage a company.

After a while, Queta finally finished her eting and returned to her office. She appeared elegant and beautiful as always, dressed in a black business suit with high heels.

Connor noticed that she seed a bit tired.

"Mr. Connor, you're back," she said with a smile. "I didn't know you were coming today. I've been in a eting."

"No problem, I ca to check on the situation at the company. I heard the opening ceremony for the real estate project went well, but I couldn't attend due to being away," he replied with a smile.

"Yes, the project is proceeding smoothly, and the construction company has already started work. We even held an opening ceremony yesterday. However, since you were not in Yarlford, I didn't bother to inform you," she explained.

"It's fine. Opening ceremonies are just for show, and I trust you to handle things here," he said with a grin.
