A few minutes later, the car slowly stopped in front of the Stormbound Tower.

After Justin and the others got out of the car, they couldn't help but look up at the building in front of them and were instantly dumbfounded.

Although they knew Connor was wealthy and his background wasn't simple, this ti they were deeply shocked.

Buying a multi-story building like this in Yarlford wasn't sothing ordinary people could achieve.

Connor's astonishing financial ability left them astounded once again.

Led by Queta, Connor and the others entered the building and took a brief look around. Since the company had just been established, there weren't many people inside.

However, she was currently in the process of recruiting, and it wouldn't take long for the company to be up and running normally. Given Connor's wealth, it was quite simple for her to attract talent from other companies.

After wandering around the building, Connor was quite satisfied, so they left. Since Justin, Brook, Spencer, and the others hadn't been accommodated yet, he took them to the villa prepared by Queta.

However, the villa she had arranged was located in the most luxurious villa complex in the entire Yarlford. Upon entering the villa, Justin, Brook, Spencer, and the others were once again dumbfounded.

The interior decoration of the villa was excessively lavish, sothing beyond the imagination of ordinary people.

Even Connor felt it was unnecessary, considering he would be the sole occupant. Queta really didn't need to buy such a large villa for him.

"Connor, although I knew you were wealthy, I didn't expect you to be this wealthy!"

Brook looked at the villa's interior, his expression excited.

"Yeah, Connor, I truly have a different understanding of you now. To have Queta working for you, and to be able to buy such a large building, and now living in this luxurious villa—how much money do you actually have?"

Justin added.

"The wealthiest person in our Davenport, Thomas, works for Connor. You think he has so much money?"

Dominic scoffed.

"My goodness, I originally thought you were already rich, Connor, but I never thought you'd be this wealthy. It's a good thing I followed you to Yarlford; otherwise, I'd regret it to death!"

Brook shouted with excitent.

"Alright, stop flattering here. As long as you work well with Queta, in a few years, you'll probably be able to buy an even more luxurious villa than this one!"

Connor replied helplessly.

"Really?"

Brook asked eagerly.

"Of course!"

Connor patted Brook's shoulder and continued, "Alright, it's getting late. You've all had a busy day following around. There are plenty of rooms in this villa; just pick whichever you like, no need to be polite!"

"Got it!"

Everyone agreed and started looking for their rooms.

Connor went to the master bedroom, entered the bathroom to freshen up, then called Freya to let her know he had arrived in Yarlford.

After ending the call, he lay down on the bed to rest.

...

On the other side, within an estate in Yarlford.

This estate could be said to be the most luxurious in all of Yarlford. It spanned thousands of square ters and included three villas, a golf course, a private pool, and astonishingly, a private zoo. This estate was the property of the Goz family, the number one family in Yarlford.

Most mbers of the Goz family's main lineage lived in this estate, while so peripheral mbers didn't have the privilege.

Residing here was a symbol of status and position.

Although Yamino was Rockefeller's head in the Oprana region, his approach was quite different from that of other Rockefeller people.

Take Yaakov, for instance. Although he wielded trendous influence in Davenport, he still didn't dare to show his face. Most matters were left to Tenner.

Yamino, however, was different. He never thought about concealing his identity.

In Yarlford, no one could threaten him. Naturally, he had no qualms.

Currently, in the living room of Yamino's ho, a group of people were having a al and chatting.

Seated at the head of the table was a middle-aged man, Yamino himself. The rest were high-ranking mbers of the Goz family.

"Master, have they found Yaakov?"

A well-dressed man in a suit asked Yamino softly.

This person was lvin Goz, Yamino's younger brother.

Although they were blood-related, one could tell that lvin spoke to Yamino in a highly respectful manner. It didn't seem like a conversation between brothers.

In fact, most of the people present were related to Yamino by blood. However, they didn't even have the courage to speak loudly to him. They knew that Yamino would never tolerate their mistakes due to family ties. So, these people were extrely cautious around him, not daring to make any mistakes.

"Yaakov should be under Connor's control now."

Yamino was well-inford. He was well aware of the events that took place that night.

"I didn't expect this successor chosen by Li Xiugan to be so capable. Even Yaakov isn't his match!"

lvin exclaid.

"Yaakov himself lacked ability. If it wasn't for a lack of more suitable candidates back then, I would never have let him beco the head of Davenport."

Yamino comnted casually.

"Master, this Connor is no simple character. Not only is he Steven's successor, but he's also that man's son. If Yaakov is controlled by Connor, then he probably already knows that his father was killed by our Goz family. Shouldn't we take action to eliminate Connor as well?"

At this mont, another middle-aged man spoke up.

Yamino sighed softly upon hearing these words, refraining from responding.

Seeing his silence, the expressions on the faces of those present turned extrely anxious. They couldn't fathom his intentions and didn't know how he planned to handle Connor.
