"Father, what do you think we should do now?" After a mont of hesitation, Albert softly inquired of Beau.
Beau took a deep breath and said, "I never anticipated that Connor would be this difficult to deal with. Given the situation, if our Collie family continues to act against him, it will undoubtedly have a significant impact. It might even involve the Heavenly Sect. For now, let's put this matter on hold and strike when the right opportunity arises."
The people present fell into silence upon hearing Beau's words. They knew that Beau was afraid, effectively bowing down to Connor.
Aida remained seated, her face mirroring disbelief. After all, this was the first ti she had seen Beau voluntarily retreat.
It was noteworthy that even if anyone else had killed a disciple of the Heavenly Sect, Beau would have made sure that person paid the price. However, Connor was an exception due to his terrifying background.
Connor returned to his ho after leaving Yaakov's mansion.
Once ho, he lay on his bed, pondering the words Yaakov had spoken earlier that day. Uncertain about their veracity, he refrained from sharing the news with anyone.
All he could do now was await news from the Purple Cloud Sect. He had to confirm whether Yaakov's words were true. If they were, he could ascertain that Yamino was indeed responsible for his parents' deaths.
Three days passed in the blink of an eye.
During this ti, Connor remained at ho alone, not venturing anywhere. His mind was consud by thoughts of his parents.
"Ring, ring..."
After waiting for three days by himself at ho, he finally received a call from Waverly.
Seeing her na on the screen, his face showed excitent. He hurriedly answered the call.
"Waverly, how did things go with Yaakov?" His voice trembled with excitent.
"Sect Leader McDonald, Yaakov has revealed everything he knows," she said slowly.
"How did my parents die back then?" He quickly followed up.
"Yaakov didn't lie. His accounts to you earlier were consistent with what he told us. It was indeed Yamino who had Yaakov kill your parents," she responded.
"So it was truly Yamino who killed my parents?" Connor's expression was furious.
After so much investigation, he had finally learned the true identity of his enemy.
"Did Yaakov reveal any other significant information?" He hastily inquired.
"No, he shared everything he knew. There's nothing else of significance. However, he ntioned that your father's identity seed mysterious, but he didn't know the specifics," she replied.
"My father's identity is mysterious?" Connor's expression held confusion.
"Yes, as for other matters, Yaakov seed rather clueless. He mostly ntioned inconsequential details."
He took a deep breath upon hearing her words, remaining silent.
"Sect Leader McDonald Zhang, how do you plan to handle Yaakov?" she asked.
"Yaakov still has so use for the ti being. Let's keep him under the Purple Cloud Sect's watch. We must ensure he doesn't escape," he said in a hushed tone.
"Alright, understood!"
"If there's nothing else, I'll hang up. Keep inford about any developnts on your end," he said lightly.
"Sure!" she replied softly before disconnecting the call.
After putting down his phone, Connor sat alone on the couch, contemplating his next steps.
After an indeterminate amount of ti, he let out a long sigh and dialed Thomas's number.
"Ring, ring..."
After two rings, Thomas picked up the call.
"Mr. Connor!"
Thomas's voice ca through.
"Thomas, do you know soone nad Yamino Goz?" Connor asked softly.
"Yamino Goz?"
Thomas's tone beca slightly more serious upon hearing the na. He then asked with evident confusion, "Mr. Connor, why are you suddenly inquiring about this person?"
Connor hesitated for a mont but ultimately decided not to hide anything from Thomas. After all, Thomas was one of the people he trusted most. So, he recounted the events involving Yaakov just as they had occurred.
"So, Yamino is the head of Rockefeller in Oprana. It's truly unbelievable..." Thomas exclaid softly after learning the truth.
"You seem to be quite familiar with this Yamino?" Connor asked gently.
"Of course I am!"
Thomas responded with a touch of helplessness, continuing, "Mr. Connor, the Yamino you're talking about is the head of the Goz family in Yarlford. And not just in Yarlford, even across all of Oprana, the Goz family could easily be counted among the top ten. Yamino is the family head, so how could I not know about him?"
"The Goz family, where Yamino is from, is the number one family in Oprana?" Connor's voice was filled with astonishnt.
"Even on a global scale, the Goz family ranks among the top ten. So, Mr. Connor, if you want to avenge your parents, it won't be an easy task," Thomas sighed softly.
"I understand it's not simple. Otherwise, I wouldn't be calling you. I want to ask if you have any good ideas for dealing with Yamino?" Connor inquired softly.
"The Goz mansion, where Yamino resides, has a martial arts grandmaster presiding over it. I'm not sure who's stronger between them and Mr. Jorge. So, if you want to directly kill Yamino, it won't be easy," Thomas slowly replied.
"The Goz family has a martial arts grandmaster too?" Connor's expression revealed shock.
He was aware that since the Goz family had a martial arts grandmaster, his plan to kill Yamino for revenge wasn't going to be easy.
