After hearing Connor's words, Albert was taken aback, and his expression seed incredulous. He hadn't expected Connor to be so astute, even knowing about the snipers they had prepared.
"Since I was able to break into your Collie family's secret chamber, that ans I'm not a fool. I advise you to be more honest, or your daughter might lose her life," Connor whispered to Albert.
"What exactly do you want?"
Albert clenched his teeth and asked in a low voice.
"Get a car!"
After thinking for a mont, Connor said.
Albert glanced at him and took a deep breath before saying, "Go get a car ready for this person!"
After a while, a black rcedes-Benz stopped right in front of Connor.
"I've prepared the car for you. Can you let go of my daughter now?" Albert asked him.
"Not yet!"
Connor shook his head.
"What do you want, then? I've fulfilled your conditions. Don't force to do sothing I'll regret!"
Albert yelled angrily, his eyes wide with fury.
"I'm not forcing you. The thing is, I don't know if you've tampered with the car. Plus, I'm not completely safe yet. I've said it before, as soon as I'm truly safe, I'll release your daughter. Otherwise, I won't let her go," Connor replied, his expression calm.
Albert gritted his teeth, staring at Connor with a mixture of anger and frustration. He had never been threatened like this before.
Deep down, Albert had a strong affection for Aida. Therefore, he was unwilling to gamble with her life when it ca to dealing with Connor.
"Let this woman get in the car with . Once I reach my destination, I'll naturally release her. You can rest assured that Miss Aida and I have no grudges. As long as you don't interfere, I won't harm her. If you decide to take action, then I can't guarantee what will happen!" Connor grinned and addressed Albert.
Albert didn't respond, as he had no other choice at the mont. After all, his daughter's life was in Connor's hands.
Connor opened the door of the rcedes-Benz and had Aida sit in the driver's seat. He then moved to the passenger's seat, ensuring that Aida remained under his control.
Once she was seated in the passenger's seat, he quickly got into the car and closed the door.
"Vroom!"
After getting into the car, he stepped on the gas pedal forcefully, and the car sped towards the outskirts of the Collie family estate.
In a matter of seconds, Connor disappeared from Albert's sight.
After seeing him vanish, Albert's expression turned furious.
"Mr. Albert, what should we do now?"
Bill asked in a low voice.
"What else can we do? Hurry and chase after him with your n. Find a suitable opportunity to kill him. This person absolutely cannot be allowed to live!" Albert gritted his teeth and shouted.
Upon hearing this, Bill swiftly gathered his n and began driving towards the direction Connor had disappeared.
anwhile, Albert remained standing in place, his expression extrely grim.
"Brother, don't worry. I don't think that person will harm Aida," Andreas offered a comforting word.
"My concern isn't about that issue. I'm worried that this person will escape alive," Albert replied in a low voice. He continued, "This person already entered the secret chamber earlier. That indicates he must have seen the materials we kept in there. He might have even taken those materials. If those docunts were to leak, the consequences would be unimaginable."
Clearly, Albert's greater concern was the potential leakage of sensitive information.
Although he was worried about Aida's safety, he cared more about the confidential docunts stored in the secret chamber.
"You know Bill's capabilities. I believe he can handle that person," Andreas reassured him.
"But this person was able to breach the secret chamber, which implies he ca prepared. Co with to the secret chamber and see if anything is missing," Albert suddenly realized sothing was amiss and quickly headed towards the secret chamber.
Andreas followed closely.
A few minutes later, both Albert and Andreas were back inside the secret chamber.
"Andreas, start sorting from that end, and I'll start from this end," Albert said in a hushed voice.
"Alright!"
Andreas nodded subtly.
The two of them began to carefully examine and organize the materials in the secret chamber.
After about ten minutes, Andreas looked at Albert and said, "Brother, I have all the docunts here."
"But I'm missing a hard drive," Albert said in a low voice.
"A hard drive? Which one?" Andreas asked with a puzzled look.
"The one belonging to Yaakov," Albert replied.
"Could Connor be connected to Yaakov?" Andreas's expression displayed astonishnt.
"Can't be certain. I made an arrangent with Yaakov a while ago. If he could help with overseas business, I promised to return that hard drive to him. Yaakov has been continuously dealing with overseas business matters, so he couldn't possibly have sent soone to steal the hard drive at this ti," Albert shook his head.
"If this person isn't linked to Yaakov, then maybe they want Yaakov to face trouble," Andreas analyzed in a hushed tone.
"Bang!"
Albert slamd the table hard, his expression furious. Clenching his teeth, he yelled, "If Yaakov finds out that the hard drive has been stolen, the consequences would be unimaginable!"
For so many years, the Collie family had controlled Yaakov using that hard drive, leveraging its contents for various favors. Due to the hard drive's existence, Yaakov hadn't dared to defy Albert's wishes.
However, if he discovered that the hard drive was no longer in the possession of the Collie family, he would undoubtedly seek imdiate retaliation against them.
And there was an even more terrifying aspect, many docunts in the secret chamber bore signs of being tampered with, indicating that Connor had likely seen their contents. If he had copied those docunts, it would be extrely dangerous for the Collie family.
In that mont, Albert felt a sense of suffocation. The potential consequences of this situation were truly horrifying. If not handled properly, it could lead to complete disaster for the entire Collie family.
