Jorge couldn't help but stroke his beard and then said softly, "I only have you as my disciple, so you're the only one who can inherit this position."
"Can't you go find another disciple?"
Connor asked with a sowhat exasperated expression.
"I never had the intention of taking on more disciples from the start. After all, if my disciples are all as foolish as you, it would beco a joke in the world of ancient martial arts!"
Jorge disregarded Connor's feelings and calmly replied.
Connor's expression beca even more speechless upon hearing this. Jorge was openly mocking him, and he couldn't find any reason to refute him.
"You don't need to worry too much about this. While you'll be the future leader of the Purple Cloud Sect, it doesn't an you have to manage the sect. Just like , you can delegate those responsibilities to others!"
Jorge looked up at him and calmly suggested.
"That's an option?" He seed surprised.
"Of course. When you inherit my position in the future, you'll be the leader of the Purple Cloud Sect. At that ti, you'll have the final say in the sect's matters, and you can manage it as you see fit." Jorge said calmly.
Connor's expression relaxed a bit upon hearing his words. After all, he had no interest in the Purple Cloud Sect or the affairs of the ancient martial arts world. He didn't want to beco a sect leader.
"By the way, there's sothing else I want to remind you of..."
Jorge continued to speak.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Because of what happened in Santon last ti, many people in the world of ancient martial arts now know that you're the future leader of the Purple Cloud Sect. This has its advantages, but also so disadvantages."
Jorge spoke slowly.
"What advantages?"
Connor asked, puzzled.
"Looking at the entire Oprana, the Purple Cloud Sect is one of the top sects. It also bears the responsibility of maintaining the order of ancient martial arts. So, in the eyes of martial artists, your status will be quite high. Even if soone's strength surpasses yours, they wouldn't easily offend you if they know you're the future leader of the Purple Cloud Sect..."
Jorge explained.
"That does sound like a good thing!"
Connor nodded, then continued, "What about the disadvantages you ntioned?"
"As I ntioned, there are four major sects responsible for maintaining the order of ancient martial arts in Oprana. Besides the Purple Cloud Sect, there are the Snow Moon Sect, Heavenly Sect, and the Profound Sect."
Jorge paused for a mont and continued, "While these four sects seem to have good relations on the surface, they've always been vying for power and scheming behind the scenes. There used to be seven major sects a hundred years ago, but now only four remain. The other three have been assimilated..."
Jorge looked at Connor.
Upon hearing this, he seed to understand what Jorge was implying.
"Are you saying that these other three sects might co after ?"
Connor asked, his expression a mix of frustration and anger.
"There's a possibility. I'm telling you this so you'll be cautious around mbers of these three sects."
Jorge nodded at him.
"I knew you wouldn't have any good intentions!"
Connor suddenly stood up, his expression filled with anger as he yelled at Jorge.
"Because you needed my help, that's why I had the opportunity to sche against you."
Jorge responded with a smile.
"I don't want to hear your explanations. I have no connection with your so-called Purple Cloud Sect, and I'm definitely not your future sect leader. Go find soone else for that role. I'm leaving!"
Connor didn't want to continue discussing this topic with Jorge. He walked out in frustration.
At this mont, Connor was deeply regretting coming to seek Jorge's guidance. If he hadn't co, he wouldn't have known about all these complications.
He already had enough troubles on his plate, and he didn't want to be distracted by these matters.
Jorge watched his departing figure with a smile. He understood that so things weren't as easy to avoid as Connor hoped. As he had said earlier, so things were destined from the very beginning.
