"The reason why you think of him like this now is very likely because you feel guilty. If you loved him back then, how could you have the heart to reject soone you loved?" Connor continued.

"What you said makes sense. Maybe I can't let go of these things because I feel guilty!" Yvette nodded thoughtfully and continued, "But now, all this is not that important anymore. Be it guilt or love, I plan to let go of this. I'm going to start my new life!"

"As long as you have the courage to let go of these things!" Connor said with a smile.

"All these years, I've never ntioned this to anyone. This is the first ti you've heard say these things. After I have said it out loud, I feel better!" Yvette looked at Connor and continued.

"So things are better said than kept bottled up!" Connor replied.

"But these are all my secrets. Only we know about it now. You must not tell anyone, or I will not let you off!" Yvette threatened Connor.

"Don't worry. I will keep this private. I will help you keep this secret…" Connor said with a smile.

Yvette sized up Connor and said softly, "I think you play the piano very well. Have you learned it professionally?"

"No…" Connor shook his head lightly and continued, "I only learned the piano from my mother, but after my mother passed away, I never touched the piano again…"

"You haven't touched the piano for a long ti, but you can still play it. It's unbelievable!" Yvette said to Connor in surprise.

"Although I haven't touched so things for a long ti, I often think of them. For example, the song I played just now was composed for my mother, but this is my first ti playing it. Only when I think of my mother will this song ring in my mind..." Connor said slowly.

"I like that song of yours…" Yvette replied softly before continuing, "Actually, I'm quite curious about your past because I think there is more to you than ets the eye…"

"That's right. The things I've experienced are not what you can imagine. However, I have too many stories. I might not be able to finish telling them today…" Connor replied with a smile.

"What's there to talk about? Anyway, I'm free now. You can tell !" Yvette looked at Connor and said.

"Ma'am, you may have nothing to do, but I'm busy, okay?" Connor said helplessly.

"What are you busy with? Your girlfriend?" Yvette asked with a pout.

"How did you know I have a girlfriend?"

Upon hearing Yvette's words, Connor was surprised. A hint of confusion flashed in his eyes.

"When we first t, there was a girl next to you. If I'm not wrong, that girl is your girlfriend, right?" Yvette asked with a smile.

"She's not my girlfriend…" Connor looked at Yvette and shook his head.

"Not your girlfriend?"

Yvette was stunned and in disbelief.

"She's my fiancée!" Connor said softly.

"You have a fiancée? Tell about your fiancée." Yvette said as she tugged at Connor.

"It's too late now. I'm a little sleepy. I'll tell you about her when I have ti!" Connor said helplessly.

"Sigh. I don't know when the next ti two of us will et. You'd better tell now…" Yvette said unyieldingly.

"It's okay. We should be able to et soon. I'm going to hold an opening ceremony in a few days. I'll tell you when you co to my opening ceremony…" Connor said helplessly.

"Really?" Yvette asked.

"Of course, it's true. I've always been a man of my word…" Connor replied.

"All right, then, let's hurry back. I'm a little tired too!" Yvette looked at Connor and nodded gently.

After knowing that Yvette would finally let him off, Connor heaved a long sigh of relief. He then turned around and prepared to leave.

However, as Connor was about to turn around and leave, he saw Jace walking toward him and Yvette with two people.

Connor never thought that Jace would be so bold. He already knew that he was the boss of Heavens Club, but he still dared to co to him.

"Connor, what are you doing here?" Yvette asked in puzzlent.

"Jace is here..." Connor replied in a low voice.

"..." Yvette was stunned. Then, she hurriedly looked up and saw Jace walking toward Connor with two people.

"It's over. I said that Jace would not let it go. He must have found soone to take revenge on you now. You'd better leave quickly," Yvette urged Connor.

Connor turned and glanced at Yvette, saying indifferently, "If I leave now, you might be in danger, so I can't go now…"

"I don't believe he would dare to do anything to !" Yvette hurriedly said.

"Jace has already embarrassed himself today. Now, he dares to bring people to take revenge on . That ans that he has lost his mind now. Who can be sure if he will not do sothing..." Connor said expressionlessly.

"But…" Yvette opened her mouth and was about to speak.

Jace and the others had already walked up to Connor.

Connor briefly observed the two people behind Jace. One of them was in his early thirties. He was burly and had a strong appearance. He exuded a strong murderous aura. The other person was short and was in his twenties. From their eyes, it could be seen that these two were hitn.

However, Connor wasn't nervous at all. Although these two were killers, they weren't martial artists. They shouldn't have any problem dealing with ordinary people, but they couldn't deal with Connor.

"Connor, I did not expect you to be hiding here. I have finally found you…" Jace shouted at Connor with a smile.
