"I'm done with this!"

Furina stomped off in a huff.

She'd had enough—so all this ti, Luo Qing had only been fixated on getting her Hydro Gnosis!

All those promises about making the right choices, becoming one big happy family, living together in bliss...

Even asking the Raiden Shogun to talk her into it...

All lies!

Halfway down the path, still fuming, she turned back and yelled at Luo Qing, "Fine! I'll give you the Gnosis! Just you wait!"

From a distance, Luo Qing responded cheerfully, "Got it!"

"..."

This guy...

Furina clenched her fists, resisting the urge to march back and kick him a few more tis. But the distance between them made it undignified to walk all the way back just for that.

With a frustrated huff, she stord off toward Fontaine Court.

As Furina's figure disappeared from view, Luo Qing's casual, carefree expression faded into a calm and composed deanor.

He wasn't oblivious—he could easily discern the emotions behind Furina's words.

When soone was trapped in a state of emotional distress, no amount of comforting words could pull them out. The only way was to shift the focus, breaking them free from their spiral.

And sure enough, Furina had walked away with more energy than she arrived with.

"Fontaine and her... only one can survive?"

Luo Qing mulled over the words Furina had inadvertently let slip.

"Could she have so kind of hidden backup plan...?"

Pondering briefly, he connected to the Void Network.

"Nahida, are you there?"

A few seconds later, her sweet voice echoed in his mind.

"I'm here, Papa!"

"Let everyone know I won't be coming ho for the next few days—I'll be staying sowhere else."

"Eh...?!" Nahida froze, glancing nervously at the aunties and moms in the living room. Unsure how to relay the ssage, she tentatively asked, "Papa... where are you going?"

"Furina might be in danger. I need to keep an eye on her."

"Where... where are you watching from?"

"Her room."

"...?"

For a mont, Nahida's mind went blank.

Before she could react further, Luo Qing added, "Love you, Nahida! Mua~," and disconnected the call.

"..."

On the other side, Makoto noticed Nahida's conflicted expression and asked, "Nahida, was that Luo Qing?"

Nahida nodded hesitantly. "Mm-hmm..."

"What did he say?"

"Papa said..." Nahida paused, then timidly continued, "he won't be coming ho for the next few days. He's... staying with Sister Furina..."

"...?"

---

Still upset over Luo Qing's earlier remarks, Furina had secluded herself in her room after returning to the palace.

When you're feeling down, the best redy is binge-watching wholeso ani.

Burrowed under her covers, only her small feet peeked out. Wearing her Void Terminal, she was determined to marathon every unwatched ani in the Void Network.

Curled up beneath the blanket, the glow from the Void Terminal's screen illuminated the cozy space she had created.

Suddenly, a cool breeze drifted in through the window, brushing against her exposed feet and making her shiver.

Frowning, she tucked her feet into the blanket and hugged them for warmth, sighing contentedly as she settled back in.

Just as she was about to click on her next ani and emo-watch in peace, a muffled thud echoed from outside the blanket.

Before she could react, the narrow space under the blanket was invaded by a head—his head.

"?"

Furina's eyes widened, her pupils dilating in shock.

Before she could fully process what was happening, the blanket was lifted, and Luo Qing slid in entirely.

The earlier sound? It had been his shoes hitting the floor.

"Luo... Luo Qing?! What are you doing here?!"

She was so stunned she forgot to imdiately kick him out.

The two of them now lay face-to-face under the blanket, the faint glow of the Void Terminal illuminating their expressions.

Luo Qing, looking completely unbothered, asked casually, "What ani are you watching? Let join."

"...?"

Furina stared at him in utter disbelief.

It took her a mont to process before her instincts kicked in. With a sudden motion, she curled her body and delivered a firm kick to his face, sending him tumbling out of the blanket.

"Why are you in my bed?!"

Furina's face turned red as she sat up, one hand clutching her chest.

Since she hadn't left her room all day, she was still wearing her loose silk nightgown. If she wasn't careful, it could easily slip and expose her.

"That kick had so power..." Luo Qing muttered, rubbing his face as he climbed off the floor.

"And here I was, concerned about a certain white-haired, flat-chested emo queen wallowing in self-pity all day. That's the only reason I ca over."

"Who... Who's white-haired?! And who's flat-chested?!"

Flustered, Furina's face turned even redder. "This is my business! Stay out of it!"

"I'd rather stay out of it," Luo Qing said, folding his arms with a soft snort. "But if you're gone, who am I supposed to get the Gnosis from?"

"..."

There it is again. The Gnosis.

Furina clenched her fists, looking away as her voice dropped.

"I already told you... I'll give you the Gnosis. There's no need for you to worry."

"That line doesn't work on ."

Luo Qing shook his head.

"Until you personally hand the Gnosis, I've decided to stay here. That way, I can keep an eye on a certain soone who might emo herself to death in the middle of the night."

"..."

Furina fell silent, utterly baffled at how he managed to make trespassing in soone's room sound so self-righteous.

"Leave! If you don't, I'm calling the guards!"

"Oh?" Luo Qing smirked, his tone teasing.

"And what do you think will happen if the guards walk in to find the noble Hydro Archon alone in a room with , disheveled and flustered? Care to guess what they'll think?"

"You wouldn't want rumors spreading about you, now would you, Lady Furina~?"

"..."

Furina's silence spoke volus.

Luo Qing's shalessness exceeded even her expectations.

Taking a deep breath, she muttered, "What do you even want from ?"

"To watch ani with you," Luo Qing answered imdiately.

With that, he flopped back onto her bed, his montum causing the mattress to bounce.

Settling in, he waved her over with a grin.

"Co on, let's watch ani together~."

"..."

Furina stood frozen, utterly at a loss for words.
