The muffled shouts of Furina echoed from the study.

Rosalyne, ever composed, stood silently outside the door, her expression impassive as if entirely unaffected by the noise.

However, Theresa was anything but indifferent. Pressing her small head against the doorfra, she eavesdropped intently, straining to make out the conversation within.

"L-Luo Qing, stop it...!"

"I can't take this anymore—just stop already!"

"Please, spare ! I was wrong!"

"If this keeps up... I'll break down...!"

"Holy Archons, they're doing it in the study?"

Theresa reeled back slightly, her mind racing.

Classic Luo Qing, she thought.

Ever since Furina had moved into their ho, Theresa had anticipated sothing like this.

But this soon?!

Glancing at Rosalyne's tranquil deanor, Theresa couldn't help but feel puzzled.

"How can you stay so calm with all this noise?" she whispered.

Rosalyne shot her a glance but said nothing.

With her enhanced hearing, she could easily discern what was really happening inside the study. Unlike Theresa, who only caught snippets and had clearly misunderstood, Rosalyne knew the truth.

Theresa, however, remained oblivious to her mistake.

"By the way..." she ventured, still peering through the door crack.

"When you're alone at night, and you hear the sounds coming from Luo Qing and , do you... react to it?"

"..."

Rosalyne's expression didn't change.

"Like, do you toss and turn, unable to sleep?"

"..."

"Rosalyne, co on, don't ignore . I'm saying, Luo Qing's got a lot of energy lately, and I can't handle it all on my own. Since you're—"

Theresa's suggestion was abruptly cut off when the study door swung open, causing her to stumble forward.

Standing in the doorway was Furina, her cheeks flushed, her eyes watery, and her clothes slightly disheveled. One of her white lace-trimd socks was rumpled, and her entire deanor scread embarrassnt.

The two stared at each other, an awkward silence stretching between them.

Furina had just been looking for an escape—sowhere to hide and nurse her bruised ego. Theresa, on the other hand, leaned forward slightly and gave an experintal sniff.

Yep, Furina was covered in Luo Qing's scent.

That settled it.

By Theresa's logic, Furina should now call her "big sister" based on their respective tilines with Luo Qing.

"Hmph! Luo Qing, you just wait—I'll rember this day!" Furina huffed, her voice trembling with indignation. Hugging herself defensively, she turned and hurried away.

Theresa watched Furina's retreating figure, scratching her head in confusion. Turning to Luo Qing, she asked,

"Master, aren't you going to ask Furina to stay tonight?"

"For what?" Luo Qing replied, genuinely perplexed.

"To... share our bed, of course."

To Theresa, the most urgent issue was finding soone to help her manage Luo Qing's overwhelming stamina. If things continued as they were, she might actually need to start taking restorative supplents.

"..." Luo Qing fell silent for a mont.

"Theresa, co here," he finally said.

"Ah?!"

Intimidated by his tone, Theresa hesitated but ultimately shuffled over, bracing for whatever was to co.

Luo Qing reached out and firmly poked her forehead with two fingers.

"Can you stop filling that little head of yours with such nonsense?" he scolded.

"Do you think I'm the kind of person who falls for every woman he sees?"

"..."

Theresa remained quiet, her thoughts filled with sarcastic rebuttals she didn't dare voice.

Master, you're the one who put all this "nonsense" into my head. Acting all righteous now? Please. You're the sa person who tells to 'get creative' in bed.

She kept her complaints to herself, knowing better than to argue. Speaking her mind would only guarantee a long, exhausting night.

"But Master," she ventured cautiously, "if that wasn't what just happened... why did Furina look like that?"

"Oh, that?" Luo Qing shrugged.

"She wanted to massage her foot in exchange for saying a few good words on Tartaglia's behalf. Since we're colleagues, I figured it wouldn't hurt to help him out a little."

"..."

---

Furina rushed through the halls, her flushed face drawing curious glances. Too embarrassed to et anyone's gaze, she ignored the greetings of those she passed and hurried to her room.

Once inside, she threw herself onto her plush bed, burying her face in the soft pillows.

The mory of what had just transpired played over and over in her mind, causing her cheeks to burn hotter with each recollection.

Rolling from one side of the bed to the other, she groaned in frustration, occasionally pounding the pillows with her fists.

"Argh! Luo Qing, that insufferable man!"

The more I think about it, the angrier I get. How dare he not only refuse my terms but also tickle my feet?!

She sat up abruptly, her finger pointing at the pillow as if it were Luo Qing himself.

"Mark my words, Luo Qing. I'll pay you back for this humiliation!"

In a fit of childish defiance, she threw the pillow onto the floor and stomped on it with both feet.

After venting her frustration for several minutes, Furina finally sank back onto the bed, hugging the now-crumpled pillow tightly.

She stared blankly at the ceiling, her thoughts a chaotic mix of anger and embarrassnt.

A knock at the door broke her reverie.

"Co in," she called, her voice muffled by the pillow.

The door opened to reveal Neuvillette, who stepped inside with his usual composed deanor.

"Sedene ntioned you returned in a hurry, looking sowhat distressed. Did sothing happen?"

Neuvillette's gaze swept the room, lingering on the discarded shoes and scattered bedding.

"If there's any trouble, you can tell ."

"It's nothing," Furina replied, waving dismissively as she donned her usual air of haughty indifference.

"As the ever-diligent Hydro Archon, I was simply feeling a bit weary and decided to rest."

"If that's all, I'll leave you to it. Don't forget," Neuvillette reminded her, "the preliminary hearing for Tartaglia's case is in two days. His status as a Harbinger makes this a matter of great importance. You'll need to be present."

"Yes, yes, I know," Furina replied, waving him off.

"I'll be there bright and early."

Neuvillette hesitated for a mont but ultimately bowed slightly and left, closing the door behind him.

Alone once more, Furina rolled onto her side, her gaze drifting to the now-closed door.

That Luo Qing... she thought, her lips curving into a small pout.

As annoying as he is... it's much more relaxing being around him.
